GrowPro3500 Now it’s time!
I want to see what’s possible!
The first run was a success, even after the worst-case scenario.
Since the plants dried out during that first run, I believe a lot of potential was lost — so I’m just going for it again!
I’m currently setting up the new 60x60 tent, which will be dedicated solely to this plant.
I’ll be using only Biobizz liquid nutrients and microbes for feeding.
Can’t wait to see which pheno shows up this time.
The last three were each uniquely impressive in their own way.
The next few weeks will reveal everything.
Cheers!
GrowPro3500 Vegetation has started, and this time around I wasn’t as sparing with water and nutrients as I was during the first run. The plant is thanking me with a strong and healthy appearance today. After a one-day growth pause, things are now moving along nicely again.
Today, on day 14, she got a total of 4 liters of water — 0.7 liters sprayed from the top and another 0.7 liters in the saucer. The remaining 2.6 liters were slowly watered from the top so that, for the first time, the entire 35-liter substrate could be evenly moistened.
Training will start next week — still undecided whether I’ll go with LST or topping.
This time, I’ve also left the plant alone more compared to the first run. I think that has helped lower the overall stress level and improved growth.
GrowPro3500 The plant is being further trained and is developing new shoots. It has been tied down very flat, and I hope it stays in the vegetative stage a bit longer before showing its sex and entering the stretch. With a bit of luck, it will develop into a homogeneous canopy.
GrowPro3500 Week 4 has begun.
LST (Low Stress Training) is starting to show its effects: most of the shoots have grown past the rim of the pot and are being tied down further away from the center—this will continue until the stretch begins.
During the stretch phase, no further training will be done; the plants will be allowed to grow upwards undisturbed.
I’m curious to see how many shoots will be in the desired position by then, and whether all the shoots or bud sites will be on an even level after the stretch.
Until then, defoliation will continue as needed, and tying down will be adjusted accordingly.
looks like she is waiting to become multi-orgasmic in response to to all the bondage. ha, ha
may a quick trim before the stretch, open up all those bud sites you've created..
@sanibelisl, As soon as she shows her sex, I’ll remove any shoots that would interfere with the Sea of Green layout. Most of the leaves will stay, serving as energy factories and nutrient storage during the stretch.
Each well-developed shoot will be lollipopped so it can focus on forming strong top buds, without wasting energy on lower, weaker growth.
The goal is to achieve the same effect as mainlining—just with an auto and LST, in about a third of the time.
This is only my second run, and I’m already loving the results!
