Fantasy Feast - Solo Cup Grow

love_2_grow The first week flew by, and she is doing great. She certainly is a vigorous girl. I 3D-printed a solo cup holder for the tent, which works great.

love_2_grow There's not much to report this week, as I ignored the plant most of the week due to travel and having guests. I'm seeing some funky leaves, but I think that is due to overfeeding as I simply give her some of the same feed as the Runtz I'm growing. I really should mix up nutes separately for her, but being a lazy stoner...

love_2_grow The third week has passed in this abused girl's life. She sits quietly in her cup in a corner of the tent, mostly getting ignored. I've been feeding her the same feed as I'm giving to my Runtz because I'm too lazy to mix up something just for her, but that is clearly way too hot for her.

love_2_grow Time flies! I can't believe she is already four weeks old. I didn't plan on vegging her this long, but life has gotten in the way, and I have kind of forgotten about her. She is looking better now that I have backed off on the feeding, and I'm pleased with how she is developing - nice structure with strong lateral branching. I topped her at the end of the week and will now leave her to recover for a few days before flipping her into flower.

love_2_grow To continue the tradition, I completely ignored her throughout the week, except for the occasional watering. The new growth looks much healthier since I stopped feeding her, although I need to start feeding her again soon, as the new growth is a bit pale. In any case, this was the final week of veg, and she will now move over to the flower tent.

love_2_grow The first week of flower has passed by. I put her in a corner in the big tent, where she looks a bit lost compared to the big girls in the tent, lol. She will get more space in a week when the girls get the chop She started to look hungry, with pale green leaves, so I decided to feed her again after being water only for a while since the previous nute burn. I start her off on a weak solution, and then I can increase it as needed. I should see some improvement in a day or two. I love how she looks. Her structure is great, and her branches are strong. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with her. She looks just like a real plant, only smaller, like a miniature bonsai plant.

love_2_grow Another week has passed in the life of this little lady with much to report. She is quietly chilling in her tent corner. I haven't seen much stretch yet, but maybe there won't be much, considering her size. We'll see once flowering really starts.

love_2_grow This week, she was evicted from the big tent as I needed that (and its larger dehumidifier) to dry my other two plants. I moved her into my smaller drying tent in the attic and added a couple of LED spotlights, as I usually don't have a light in that tent. Each one is only 15W, but that's okay anyway since she's so small. I checked with my PAR meter, and she gets plenty of light even though it's only 30W in total. I'll leave her there until the plants are finished drying in my big tent and then move her back.

love_2_grow An eventless week has passed. All I do is walk up to the attic once per day to check in on the little lady and give her some water when needed.

love_2_grow I went out of town for a few days to go to the Mary Jane fair in Berlin. To ensure she wouldn't die from thirst while I was gone, I installed a high-tech watering solution: a lasagna pan filled with water. Nothing but the best for my plants! She pulled through just fine, and I moved her yet again. This time into my small tent. This should be her final move. I hope...

love_2_grow I went out of town for a few days again to go down to the Alps on vacation Yet again, I used my high-tech watering solution, which consisted of a lasagna pan filled with water. However, since this was a longer trip, I used a larger pan. Plus, I covered it with aluminum foil to reduce evaporation. Worked like a charm. #Ghetto

love_2_grow I shouldn't have made fun of my ghetto watering system... This week we had a visitor, so it was tricky for me to get into my tent. I figured she would be fine for a day or two, but we also had the hottest days of the year, so I guess she was extra thirsty. When I finally got around to check on her, all her leaves were hanging. I figured it wasn't a huge problem, so I gave her plenty of water and hoped she would perk up by the next day. Well, that didn't happen. The leaves had instead all dried up, and she is now completely naked. Sigh. Oh well, not a huge deal as I'm about to cut her down anyway. I've scouted the trichomes a bit and I'm starting to see a few amber here and there. I'll chop her at the end of next week.

love_2_grow I left her alone for another week, but judging by the trichomes, she was more than ready, so I cut her down and hung her to dry in my big tent. It looked a bit silly with such a small plant in the tent, but the environment is dialed in, so I figured I might as well use it.

love_2_grow After leaving her to dry for a week, I took her down and trimmed her. Fastest trim EVER! lol Final weight was 9,1 grams so a very modest yield. That is more an indication that I'm clueless as a solo cup grower than it's a reflection on the quality of the cultivar. Now she is curing, while I'm enjoying my summer break.
