Core_T_Son Let’s see! The lady is meant for the balcony, with 77 days planned until harvest. Right now, she’s still too small to be put outside, so she’s patiently waiting in the veggie tent. Germination was done the old-fashioned way: first soaking in distilled water until the seed sinks (max. 24h), then into the moistened Eazyplug and off to the mini greenhouse on the heating mat. 24 hours later, the seed had popped but wanted to take an extra round and grew back into the plug. Once the cotyledons were visible, she went straight into the 1L Airroot pot with rinsed coco. They’re still under the Spider Farmer SF1000Evo, but the Autopot is already being prepared. Currently, I’m fertilizing with the last bit of Formulex (Growth Technology). Soon, a new fertilizer will be tested, a nutrient salt (1-component) for long-flowering plants. 😁 If that doesn’t work, I’ll just use Terra Aquatica Tripart plus Silicate and H2O2. To have a comparison (unfortunately, I only had 1 seed), I also brought in 2x Amnesia Haze Auto and 1x White Widow F1 Auto in the same way. One Amnesia germinated 24h later, but the other two are still not visible. Well, it doesn’t quite match the required flowering time, so it could end up being 2-3 tanks. For the medium, I got coco from Raiffeisen, big mistake. Next time, I’ll get it from Plagron, at least that fits… In the junk I bought, there was a 307-gram machine screw, extremely much dust and dirt… Since I was already testing, I also bought 60L of clay pebbles on AMZN… HanseGrand 🙈 just as much crap: 3.5L of 10L of clay pebbles is not buoyant, upon closer inspection, they’re just unexpanded clay balls… aka stones. Black as soot and not airy at all. From now on, there will only be proper goods, but I don’t have a manufacturer in mind yet. Anyway, the junk from the substrate was washed out, and the clay pebbles were mixed 1:1 with the coco. Once the Airroot pots are nicely rooted, the Jealousy Auto will go into the Smartpot XL (20L-4Pot) and can then wave from the balcony. Electricity will only be used for the seedlings, as the Smartpots don’t need airdomes. I can also do without a stirrer in the tank, I just check and stir it once a day. With 3-4 well-growing plants, the 47L tank is almost empty after two days anyway, and you have to refill instead of stir.

Core_T_Son Unfortunately, the first week was completely forgotten. 😅 But nothing interesting happened anyway. This week will be topped, then the good one goes into the Autopot and out onto the balcony. Then there will be more pictures. Currently, I'm spraying 150ml of nutrient solution onto the coco 3 times a day with a syringe, and about 50ml is draining out of the Airroot pot. It's working great, so more drain-to-waste isn't necessary. Since the intended Greenhouse Feedings fertilizer (Hybrid Bloom) seems to be completely geared towards flowering (very misleadingly labeled as a seedling fertilizer in the product description), I'll be using Terra Aquatica Tripart for another 2 weeks.

Core_T_Son On Sunday, we went out into the sun. There was something new: the Greenhouse Feedings mineral fertilizer "Hybrid" plus a load of Bio Nova "X-Cell." After that, the EC was at 1.6 and the pH value was lowered to 5.5. Now it can happily wander towards 6.5 and will only be adjusted during flowering or when refilling.

Core_T_Son Nothing exciting is happening here. Training is being received moderately well; part of it might be due to the weather. The Greenhouse feedings Hybrid plus BioNova x-cell seems to harmonize wonderfully, and I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks.

Core_T_Son Very easy thanks to the 1-component fertilizer. A few algae have formed at the root base, so from now on, I'm adding a dose of hydrogen peroxide to the tank once a week. By the end of the week, the chelated calcium will finally be here, so things should run even better. So far, the strain is handling all conceivable training methods well; bending, breaking, topping, and defoliating are just brushed off.

Core_T_Son There was an ant invasion with an aphid siege. Treated with neem, seems to be recovering. Since I won't see anything from the plant for 4 days now, I'm really curious about what the calcium as an additive can do. Since the first flowers were visible at departure, a lot will probably change in appearance... 😁 I'm already looking forward to the LST of the Jealousy.

Core_T_Son There was calcium, which immediately resulted in darker growth. The GHF hybrid is really awesome. Now it’s been made a bit storm-resistant, and now we’re waiting for the flowers.

Core_T_Son After initially topping, defoliating, and bending, she can now do whatever she wants. She has to withstand very strong gusts of wind, which could become a problem later on, but for now, it's still relatively good: the stems are being "trained naturally" and are neither supported nor bent. No one can do it better than Mother Nature. 😉

Core_T_Son Outdoor is very chill. Nothing interesting happens here except that it will probably take 14 days longer than what Ganja Farmer indicated. This could mainly be related to the cooler rainy weather.

Core_T_Son Really beautiful strain, I'm very curious about the effect. The smell is developing nicely and the first yellow sun leaves are indicating the upcoming autumn. In about a week, the trichomes will be checked; so far, it's not necessary.

Core_T_Son Here, it's been stretching since June 29th, but that's normal for outdoor. There's also Terra Aquatica's Final Part, and it should be done soon. I suspect that (assuming enough sun) it will be ready in 5-7 days.

Happy Harvest Day!

Core_T_Son This week was a bit interesting again. Rain, high humidity, and temperature. Still no mold. So speeding up the end with Final Part was the right decision.

@GeorgeJ10, 😅 I do nothing special. It’s the great Strain from Ganja Farmer and the amazing Nutrient from GHF. Ok, the Autopot change the results from good to great, but that’s really all.

Hey there, do you already know our "just add water" strategy? It's so simple that it's almost boring. I really like your writing style, especially that you mention the missteps (coco from Raiffeisen, etc.) and uncertainties. Have fun and have a great season!

@Mia_BIOTABS, hey there. Of course, I know the "just-water" strategy. I started with BioTabs and achieved very good results. I'm a passionate tester; even if a product works great, something new always comes along. 😉 Otherwise, it gets boring for the reader too. If you're interested, we could agree on an "internal" photo competition, BioTabs-easy versus mineral helicopter grow. Feel free to message me!
