Hudson2384 So the majority of my seeds germinated well. I had 1 strain with 2 beans that did not pop at all. 1 out of 3 of my Dinachem germinated. So over all not a bad few weeks popping beans. Going to start feeding soon now that there out of the dome. Looking forward to this grow. This is my first time growing with 34 Street Seed Co and I've heard good things about them. Let's see how they stack up with the legacy seed banks.

Hudson2384 So far so good with most of the seedlings. The GDP is really getting up there. I suspect they will be transplanted by the weekend. Oddly enough MC2 seems to have almost caught up to the GDP. MC1 however is lagging behind it's sister. Not sure if I will keep MC1 I have 11 seedlings but only room for 10 3gal pots. I almost killed one of my GA. I severely bent it when I was fixing the prop wire. But with a little bit of back fill I managed to right it and oddly enough it recovered the next day. The one DC seems to be doing good as well. I will be keeping it as it's probably one of the last dinafem plants out there. Other than a small feeding the week went well.

Hudson2384 Okay I'll admit this is slightly delayed but seedling aren't that interesting to look at. So as of today all seedling are now in the small plant category so this is when I transplant to 3 gal. I had 11 seedlings in total but only 10 pots not to mention 10 is the max for a 5x5. I ended up culling OG Kush 3 due to it missing a node. I was concerned about potential mutations so I chucked it.
So the plant count is now a total of 10 with. 3x GDP, 2x OG Kush, 2x Mandarin Cookies v2, 2x Grape Ape and 1x dinachem aka chemdawg. I'm so excited for this grow as I have not grown Grandaddy Purple but from what I smoked in the states I'm looking forward to it. The Grape Ape is also going to be interesting as I have not grown anything from canuk. My last attempt at cracking these beans there was some sort of fungus on them so they got chucked. However this run they came out very healthy.
This transplant took about a week. Some of the cups were further along. I did use mycorrhizae for each transplant. 3L of a light feed and the plants will be good for the next 10 days or so. Then I will do my first run off with them. The ones that were transplanted earlier in the week have had some LST done. Some are responding better than others but it's only been a few days.

Hudson2384 This week has been great. The plants have taken well to the transplant. There not too thirsty at this point so I might hit them once a week. This week I didn't feed I just watered. Next week is a feed and I will be upping the nutrients to a full 1.0ml per L and maybe add in some Honey chome since I got a good deal on a large jug. Some of the LST is going really well. One of the Grape Ape's virtually split into to main coals in like 3 days. You can see in the pictures I took 2 sets 3 days apart. Absolutely amazing I've never seen a strain take so well to LST before. So Scrogers take note this might be the one out of the bunch for you to grow. The least strain to take to the LST has been the Mandarin Cookies. But that's okay some strains respond better to topping and at this point I'm not willing to do that. I am however happy to remove some fan leaves to allow some nodes to catch up to the main coal hence the HST even though I did not top. Anyways a few more weeks of veg and we should be able to flip to flower.

Hudson2384 So this week went really well. I had an accident with one of the GDP. I was trying to bend the main stem when I snapped part off the top node. Oh well so I finished the job of the accident and topped her. As it turns out it was a happy little mistake because she took right too it. The picture I have of it is a few days after top and those extra nodes grew out quiet well. I did some standard defoliation and LST. The plants are coming along and I suspect I will flip in 2 weeks time as once my canopy hits 18 inches. The grape ape has really impressed me so far. It's reaction to LST makes is a great SCROG strain. Very vigorous growth it will be nice to see how she flowers. I use to get this strain all the time back in the day at my compassion club. My mandarin cookies aren't responding well to their training. I upped the base nutes to a full 1ml per L. I suspect 1 more water then a full feed then immediately flip to flower. I can't have these plants too big as I have 10 of them and they will fill out the 5x5 tent very quickly. This is not like the last run where the Blueberry Muffin only stretched like 1 or 2 inches.

Hudson2384 This week has gone well. Earlier efforts to train via LST are starting to pay off. Out of all the strains I have I think Grape Ape is probably the most aggressive and responsive to training. The one plant I of it Branched out its lower node so aggressively it has nearly caught up to the top node. The Dinachem has always been a favorite of mine and I have been growing it for the past 5 years. Granted it's chemdog but the fact that I'm almost out of anything Dinafem is sad. It was a great seed company while it lasted. My Mandarin cookies seem to be doing good as well. GDP is doing just as great. OG Kush has been a pain in the ass to train but it's always been a finicky strain. But you can't beat that lemon lime terps that ooze out of it. As of this week the canopy has reached 16 inches which is 2 less than my planed height. I always have a habit of over vegging so I decided to flip once I hit 1.5 feet and do the old double size stretch that early flower is known for. I have a really good feeling about this run I'm almost at the half way point now.

Hudson2384 So this is the final week of Veg. I just recently changed the lighting to 12/12 so we are now into flower. This is the time where I do heavy defoliation as you can see in the multiple photos I've upped this week. As per usual in southern Ontario we are entering into summer and that means high humidity. Thankfully I have a heavy duty dehumidifier. So I did have a spike up to 70% one time but since doing 8 hour sessions with the dehumidifier the highest it get's to is 65 then goes to the low 50s when it's running. So I now have better air flow from defoliations plus my dehumidifier. The canopy is fairly even but I decided to flip once the peak of it hit 18. Sure enough one of my Grape Ape's hit it. Looking forward to this multi strain harvest.

Hudson2384 So this week went as usual. The stretch is on! The Canopy has reached 2 feet so far and the plants are bulking out well. Normally for the first week I still use the grow but since I flipped during the middle of the week I have been using the bloom for the past few days. I have been doing some heavy defoliation to encourage node development as well as mitigate this dam humidity. That's the main reason I don't like growing in the summer is the amount of electricity I have to burn with my ac an dehumidifier. But I don't want moldy buds. The Grape Ape's are the dominate strain of this run. They are by far the largest and funny enough I started them the latest. All plants seem to be progressing well. I will be introducing king kola by the end of next week so our ladies will have plenty to munch on. At this point I have to be careful about when I use my nutes. I have plenty of base for another run but after that I have to switch nutrient lines since my current one is no longer available in Canada. Not the mention they were recently bough out by scotts hawthorne, ick. I think I'm going to switch to Remo.

Hudson2384 So the week has been going well. We have now completed a full 2 weeks of flower and the plants are well into the change. Some plants have experienced a slight deficiency but that's the norm when you switch over your base. I typically start bloom about 5-7 days into flower. Been doing some heavy defoliation the last few weeks made the plants a bit thinner. The canopy has now reached 2 feet. My Grape Ape's by Canuk are really ahead of most of the plants. So there is a 6 inch difference between smallest and largest plant. I had a Mandarin Cookie plant get temperamental a bit but I hit it with some feed and it bounced back. I introduced King Kola this week as the plants are starting to bud. This week was extreemly hot thankfully my tent is in the basement so it maybe pushed into like 80f. I also have my continuous drain set up from my dehumidifier. I hate running that thing but at least I don't have to empty the container every 6-8 hours as opposed to my 5 gal bucket I can easily run it 24hrs.

Hudson2384 This week has been incredible. The smell of the Grape Ape is starting to creep in. I am so far very impressed by it's stacking and aroma. The GDP is also coming in real nice and is already throwing off frost on it's buds. Although not as big as my GA I have to say so far so good for 34st seed co. Mandarin Cookies has been a bit finicky. Drooping a bit even when watered but it's leaves and bud structure are in good shape. OG kush is by far the smallest of the varieties but this is to be expected. Og Kush never yielded much but when it did. It's bud packed a punch and it's the go to strain for any medical user such as myself. My Dinachem or Chemdawg is doing very well and this will be a great send off to a great strain by a giant in the seed community, I'm sad to let it go but I don't have the facilities to breed it. Other than a slight dificency in my big GA it's been a good week. Nothing a second feeding and upping base to full can't fix. For the next 2 weeks we are at full throttle then I will start to back off with king kola eventually flushing for 2 of their final days on this earth.

Hudson2384 Things for the most part have gone well. My only issue right now is a deficiency with one of my Grape Ape's. might have missed a feeding so who knows. Nothing an additional feed can't take care of. Besides we a half way through flower. This post is as of half way through week 4. Plants are starting to throw on some frost especially the GDP and the OG Kush from 34 street. They aren't as large as my GA canuk's but they seem to be doing very well. I cut down on the King Kola since we are close to the flush period. Not to mention I'm down to the last of it. After that bottle is done no more. I will have another run with Emerald Harvest but since Scotts Hawthorne bought them up I'm probably switching to canna or Remo.
