This week went well! Buds are generally fattening for all 3 plants in the tent. BBC R has nutrient burn, leaves turning yellow on the edges and slightly curling at the tips. I watered BBC R with pHed H2O for two consecutive days. BBC L def has bigger buds than BBC R, may only keep clones from BBC L. Guava Kush fem is not as bushy as BBC but has big dome-like buds. BBC has pointy buds so far I still have Orange Blossom blossoming outside the tent, which is doing wonders to it! It's color it amazing and the buds are getting frosty!

Grow Questions

Does anyone use Fox Farms Nutrient Trio (Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom)? I'm about to start the late stages of flowering (fattening buds). What nutrient blend do you use? Do you supplement any additives? I've tried Cha-Ching (Fox Farms)? Anyone else?
Solved
Buds. Not fattening

Google fox farm trio feeding chart. Most companies that sell nutrients will give you a week to week feeding schedule using there products. Hope this helps and happy growing!

How long does a late flowering plant (like mine) to fade it's leaves when only fed water? 2 weeks? Do I need to wait for a fad?

Hi! I like to flush for 7-14 days it depends on a strain if it fades or not. Harvest time should be checked from tricomes.. more amber ones is more couch lock effect happy growing hope this helps somehow! 👍

@Andrewmarks flushing 2 weeks before harvest is overkill and possibly robbing yourself of final yield 3 or 4 days is all you need to flush the salts from within the growing medium. cannabis plants traditionally pack on the most of their final bulk in the last weeks before harvest I don't understand why some growers would deliberately starve their plants during this time? It is counterproductive. I know you have already harvested this plant but thought I would put my 2cents worth in for your next grow Good luck Mate

Hey there Andrez Marks ! Some genetics fade, others don't, some phenotypes fade , others don't. Senescence is a beautiful sight, but if your plant doesnt do it, it's not necessarily your fault at all. For sure lack of nutrients makes a plant wilt , but that's not senescence and surely a wilting plant is a bad sign. Two good things can happen when you flush : your plant stays healthy and fades, or your plants stays healthy and doesnt fade. The bad thing that can happen is that your plant is not ready to be flushed and starts to get deficiencies right before the chop. The point is if you time it correctly the senescence should happen shortly after the start of a long three week plain water watering (you dont need to flush flush in soil, just water with plain water for three weeks) . Hope this helps ! 🚀

I've had plants that faded even when feeding full nutes, others don't no matter what I did. Fading is by no means an indicator of harvest time, only the thricomes color.

Use to now using GO. With my current nutrients I use The Terpinator which helps and on Saturdays (Sweets & Treats Saturday) I give my girls molasses that helps with sugars during blooming 🆒👍🏼

@ChefDan420, thanks! What is GO? I add a sweetner (powder additive, ChaChing by Fox Farms) during the last weeks for flowering.
