BelSun_420 As you know, I received some seeds from Kannabia to turn into bonsai. Right now, I’m using the Ginger Punch for that purpose, and I’ll be germinating the Gelato-K for a regular grow! I’m reusing the germinator to see if it can handle more than one round — mostly because I still had some of the germination liquid left. That said, I don’t think it’s worth using more than once considering how affordable these Kannabia germinators are.
This will be my second photoperiod grow, so fingers crossed it goes well. Thank you, Kannabia, for the opportunity to try your seeds — I’m sure they won’t disappoint! 👌🏻

Unfortunately, the germinator worked a little too well, or that Gelato-K was just full of power, haha! So, what happened? Well… I’ll have to germinate another seed. The Gelato-K is the biggest one you can see in the photo, and unfortunately, it got tangled up in the cotton. When I tried to gently free the root, I ended up snapping it. 😥😫
I’m going to start germinating a new one today. 🍀

Let's kick off the first week of vegetation! 🎉
Since the tent is currently occupied, I decided to start this grow in a smaller pot and then transplant it to the final pot. That's why the light dimming is at 100%—the tent is running with flowering plants, but I have this little one at a considerable distance, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
Next week, the tent should be free to welcome her. For now, the plan is simple: just keep the soil moist and let her do her thing.🧡💚

I'm keeping the soil moist, and if all goes as planned, I’ll probably transplant her at the end of this week — just waiting for the soil I ordered to arrive.🤛🏻
Transplant done, but unfortunately it didn’t go well and I’ll probably have to start over… When I removed the plant from the initial pot, half the soil stuck to the bottom and only the top half came out—splitting the main root in the process. I really doubt she’ll survive, and even if she does, that’s a major shock. I usually germinate directly in the final pot, so I’m not very used to transplanting—and this time, it didn’t go as planned.

BelSun_420 Hey growmies,
Last week I did the transplant, but unfortunately, it didn’t go too well. Half of the soil stuck to the pot, and when I pulled it out, the main root snapped.
Surprisingly though, the plant held on and still seems to be developing. I’ll give it another week to see how it grows and whether it keeps progressing without setbacks..🤞🏻💚

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
This plant keeps surprising me day after day! A few weeks ago, I did a transplant that didn’t go well — half the root got stuck in the pot — but somehow, she didn’t even flinch and has been developing really well!
Yesterday I bent the branches slightly, and today I went in with some proper LST! I’ll post more pics in the next few days to show how she responded to the training. 🌱💪🏻

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
another week, another LST training session hehe. This should be the last full one, since I’ve got 3 plants in the tent and can’t really spread them out much more. Depending on how things evolve this week, I might switch to flowering next week — or at the latest, give it one more week of veg before flipping. Last week I gave them a solid watering with Backtomatic by Agrobacterias. Today I’ll water again, but most likely just with plain water, no nutrients. 💚🌱
She’s becoming a beautiful lady 🤩🧡

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
This strain is really surprising me! I know LST-trained plants don’t always look the prettiest, but she’s growing super well despite the transplant issue — no deficiencies, nice structure, good node spacing, and while doing some LST I noticed she’s already putting out a really nice and distinctive smell, even though she’s still in veg.
Speaking of veg… I’ll be flipping her to flower mid-week. I’m just holding off a day or two because of the other girls in the tent.
Can’t wait to see — and smell — this lady in full bloom! 💚🧡

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
My little warrior, my survivor! 💚 It’s amazing how she bounced back from that rough transplant and has been growing like nothing ever happened. On top of that, she’s looking beautiful—great structure, good spacing between nodes and branches. This girl definitely deserves high marks! 💪🏻
I’ll be applying a topdress this week—Tasty Flowers from Lurpe, one of my favorite products.🧡🧡

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
Another week for this little survivor 💚🧡
She's still growing strong with zero flaws or deficiencies so far! She’s stretched quite a bit this week as flowering kicks in, and wow—this girl is always thirsty haha 😅
All feedings have been just plain water, but I’ve been giving her around 4 solid waterings per week. It’s been extremely hot over here, which definitely explains the thirst!
Can’t wait to see how those buds develop

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
She’s stopped stretching, and now all the focus is on developing those buds 🤤
She’s full of bud sites and still hasn’t shown any signs of deficiency. Depending on how the buds develop and as long as she stays healthy, I might consider adding some liquid nutrients for an extra boost.
For now, just pure water 💧

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
Not much to report this week , I’ve just been watering regularly due to the high temperatures in my area.
Other than that, it’s all about letting her do her thing. 💚🧡

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
Another week for my survivor girl 💚🧡 — the Gelato K! In the beginning, during transplant, she lost half her roots, but that didn’t stop her from becoming an absolute beauty. She’s now rocking a gorgeous +/- 40 cm main cola, and the buds are just starting to pack on some weight.
This week she only got plain water, keeping things simple and steady. I’ve also been keeping an eye on her structure to make sure the weight doesn’t cause any leaning as the buds fatten up.
She’s a fighter, and I’m loving watching her bloom! 💚🧡
Thank you for making our Gelato-K the star of this grow diary 🌟.
We hope you and her make a great team and achieve amazing results 💪🌱.
From all of us at Kannabia, we’re sending you our most intense orange vibes 🧡✨ to make it happen.
Enjoy every stage of the journey! 🌿📆
