First Photo Grow - Blueberry Twist

Ok so I finally took these 2 girls off my other diary with the autos and gave them their own space (Which they totally should have!!) This is my First ever photo grow 😁👍Excited Much!! 🤗 Also 1st grow using biobizz nutrients range. Growing in 3 gal smart pots in light mix soil with some slight amendments (worm castings, seaweed meal, lime and Epsom salts) At the end of week 1 both Blueberry twists looking good!! With Blueberry Twist A (BTA) The clear leader when it comes to size. It always makes me smile how different every single little seed is from other of the same species. No two are ever the same 😃. Just fed with biobizz root grow this week. No other notes yet... Also Mychorhizzal Fungai added to root area when planting. Thanks for reading , MissB xXx

Added fish mix to the nutes this week. Now feeding 1ml per litre of Root Juice and Fish mix, both from biobizz every 3 days or so. Blueberry Twist A, still much bigger than her sister Blueberry Twist B, Although planted together and popped close together.

Blueberry Twist A is a beast of a plant!! She responded super well to topping. She is going to be my mamma plant for my baby clones for sure!! 😁 Her lil sis Blueberry Twist B is smaller and I decided she would be a good candidate for mainlining as she was a slow grower I figured she would potentially harvest more that way?! Anyway they are both right where I want them to be right now 👍😎

Both responded well to topping. Now LST / Mainlined as well. Ready to grow some nice tall, even branches 👍🤗💕

Both girls looking great now. Blueberry Twist B catching up a little to her sister. (Although A is LSTd a little harder, to give an even ish canopy ready for when it's time to flower. Not yet. Still going nice in veg👍😎💕

Introduced bloom nutrients to these 2 blueberry twists at the start of this week and switched to 12:12. as they were looking much bigger and more ready Yeyyyy excited much!!👍😎😁💕

2nd week of flower... Im finding this strain pretty resilient to grow. I am currently moving them between my grow space and a dark cupboard, due to having some autos that are in the final weeks of flower that need the light in grow room. Despite the temporary dark cupboards environment being far from optimal, the girls are really coming on since I flipped to flower. Stretching nicely 🤗 Really looking forward to watching these flower now!! MissB xXx 😃💕

These blueberry twist ladies are fast!! They are supposed to be able to finish from just 6 weeks of flowering onwards and to be honest I can believe that now watching these two go! Really starting to stretch now. Tiny hairs popping up from tops to bottoms of each branch 👌😁 Loving how big these girls are too!! Sorry for not updating for a while. Been a busy few weeks... Anyway Iv got pics from last week so here goes.. Both ladies looking great at the end of week 12 from seed. Week 4 flower. I had to reapply lime and Epsom salts as it's been 6 weeks since last application. Top up the magnesium and calcium content in my soil. Also sprinkled a couple of teaspoons of bat guano and watered in well 😊 This was 2 weeks ago. Last weeks diary will be added tomorrow. Leave me a comment if.you stopped by. Starting to see those beautiful trichromes developing now (#BLINGIN'!) 💎💎. Both ladies have totally ceased growing taller now and are focusing there energy on fattening up nicely!! 😊👍 I have noticed a little clawing going on, which I am putting down to a bit of a nutrient build up in my soil (Very early signs of nitrogen toxicity I'd say) it hasn't affected growth yet fortunately so I am going to flush both ladies as a precaution... to nip this problem in the bud!! (no pun intended😉) Other thank that all good for these two girlies. Iv have increased biobloom and top max as per instructions. . The smell is coming through now and this blueberry strain smells incredible!! But Iv always loved a good blueberry so I may be biased. But I Cant wait to taste 😊👍 Much Love, 💕 Miss B x

These Blueberry Twist girls are smelling yummier and yummier by the day! 😊👌. Frosting up nicely too as you can see in the pics... The clawing that started last week hasn't got any worse but affected leaves remain clawed! I am not sure now after watching these girls if it was nitrogen toxicity due to a build up in the soil as the leaves didn't get too dark and that normally happens with clawing if the problem is excess nitrogen. SO I got to thinking.... what else? And I'm thinking it could be wind burn from my larger fan!! It was on oscillating mode on medium power (when I put it on low it vibrates and is even louder!!) And I think cos these girls are so much bigger than my autos they have been left succeptable to wind burn. What so u guys think?? Plz comment with any ideas? For now I have the fan in a single position blowing against the wall first then hitting the plants to hopefully stop this issue. Open to suggestions as always!! Much Love,💕 Miss B x

They are getting close now. Both fattening up nicely. They smell better and better every Time I go in there and I can see a difference in weight daily!! Almost time to flush 1 or 2 more feeds then just plain water 😁👌💕

This was my first ever photo grow. It was soooo much fun and I'm happy with the yield. I ran into very little problems with this girl so I'd say it's a great strain for a beginner to grow!! (LIKE ME!) Lol... The frosting in these girls was insane and the trim I have is going to make some mean edibles and or hash 😊👌 One down side to this strai was an excessive amount of popcorn bud at the bottom and I would have liked the nugs a little more dense for my liking but they were more than acceptable 👌😎. And finally... Taste, effect and smoke report. Smoked after 1 week curing as I have been super busy getting ready for my hospital stay... which is next week EEK!! So, Sorry for the delay but here goes... The smell and taste is 100%blueberry 😋 and I'm getting a hint of sweet popcorn in there too strangely enough... must have come from its sweet tooth genetics?! But this is the sweetest blueberry I have had the pleasure of smoking. It is a smooth and rich and full bodied in flavour. It is an absolute delight to smoke, not one bit harsh but make no mistake, she is sweet and smooth but strong also!! I wanted a stronger stone so I didn't harvest as quickly as I could have. She will make a great medicine after I come out of hospital. Great for insomnia, anxiety, low mood etc. Full bodied stone.... You wont be doing much after a few of these babies Haha 🤣🤣👍 Overall very very happy and would deffo grow again, but would remove even more lower branching next time to help those top colas get nice and dense without all the popcorn down below!!
