On May 16th, 3 automatic seedlings arrived from Austria from https://www.krumme-gurken.com?bg_ref=iZE4JJ8KQW
Since I had good experiences with cuttings before and finally wanted to try out the automatic genetics, I got 2 strains from FastBuds and 1 from V-Buds (Krumme-Gurken) - an old Tobi Northern Lights auto genetics.
The 3 seedlings came with Canna nutrients, all packed so that nothing got damaged.
I want to let them settle for a few more days and will transplant them on May 19th.

I've decided to plant them in their final pots only at the end of week 2. I wanted to wait until the blocks were better rooted and Canna Ryzotronic is here to minimize stress.
They've all developed 3 nicely sized leaves, with the Mimosa Cake clearly in the lead and already developing side branches.
Starting week 3, they'll be under full-spectrum LED lighting.
As an experiment, I put the Gorilla Punch in prepared Canna Terra Professional Plus soil in the 11L black pot with clay pebble drainage.
So far, I'm absolutely satisfied and happy with how they're developing.

Yesterday, I moved the plants into the other tent and changed the lighting from 18/6 to 20/4 for more veggie growth. I also watered them a bit too much yesterday because I wanted to give them a good watering to avoid any dry spots. The only difference is a bit more water

for watering yesterday, sure looks dry AF.
More light is not necessarily always a good thing. Your local climate and ambient co2 levels in atmosphere will dictate how much light you can give per day... you can be given basic values to target initially, but you must engage in some trial and error to fine-tune it.
35-40 dli. there are free apps that can help. tables/calculators online. wiki to explain details (Daily Light Integral).
if you are now providing the upper range or higher than 40, good chance it will eventually cause some issues with the plant. Could be why the top leaves are droopy. "more" is not the goal.. the right amount is the goal. Internode development can guide you (tight vs lanky). Recognizing the plant is shutting down for several hours is another (droopy) can help you adjust too. Visible physical damage takes time and should be able to diagnose it before that point.
Most lights nowadays are tuned for 18h and 12h operation relative to recommended area of coverage. So, giving 1/9th more or 11.1% is only necessary if it's a weak light or trying to cover more than the recommended area.
That funky leaf - did you spill something on it? otherwise meh. New growth looks fine, so it's in your rear-view mirror. probably fixed with better watering habits. It sure looks like you are doing something weird with watering. if the pics are up to date with you description, sure are dry AF relative to watering yesterday.
1) fully saturate entire medium
2) wait for appropriate dryback and repeat.
Don't choose the volume. you give what is required to accomplish the task. If you repeat at same loss of weight, it will require same volume. If soilless, get an extra 10% runoff, religiously.
coco based substrate should have at least 30% perlite and something similar to soil should have 50%. if ever normal watering practices cause a problem, it's almost certainly a poorly constituted substrate.
don't overcomplicate it. Let context dictate how much to give and when. this is not a top-down context. Superficial watering only leads to shitty rootzone and risk of problems... ph-swing could have caused that funky leaf, for example. varying growth rates cause waves/twisting.

I repotted the Mimosa Cake and Alter Tobi into prepared 15l pots. They stood for way too long and the soil dried out..... I could have saved that, but now my experiment is:
Reusing Canna Terra Professional Plus soil and as a light pre-fertilization, I added 2 tablespoons of Compo Bio Guano to the soil.
I dipped the old Tobi and carefully dug out the Mimosa Cake, and the soil for both, which consists of 80% BioBizz lightmix, was recreated. It got sick and I couldn't take care of it properly, let alone do anything else, but the plants, especially the Gorilla Punch, are in my soil and not like my friend's prepared pots.
Sweat dripped onto the leaves of the old Tobi, which could have caused these discolorations and deformities in my eyes, similar to what I accidentally created with a cutting when I saw sweat dripping on it. Also, the humidity in the tent fluctuated a lot lately, but I managed to keep it stable as much as possible.
Now, spoiler alert, I think they're recovering.
I also set the rhythm so that the lights run in the evening and at night.

I decided against topping since it would mean more stress, and I wanted to play it safe with autoflower genetics the first time around.
Finally, I'm back on track to upload the new week every Sunday.
Let's start with the old Tobi, the problem child. After some leaf damage, it started developing very jagged and deformed leaves. Of course, the issue was that the soil was too dry at the beginning, and I had to soak it to properly water the soil. I think all the stress is to blame, and part of it is the genetics because the other two seem to be developing well, in my opinion. Or do you think the mushrooms growing in the pot have something to do with it? I can't imagine that, can you?
The GPA is growing very well in width and developing massive, stable side branches. It's about 5-7 days ahead of the others. I had hoped it would shoot up more since the others are 5cm ahead. I will probably just raise it so that it's the same height as the others. It was the only one to receive bloom fertilizer and booster two days ago, and since then, it has literally exploded🤯
Last but not least, the MCA has survived the dry and watering phase well. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have increased the Vega fertilizer since it now has slight clawing. Other than that, I only defoliated it because the branches still need to grow for LST, and since it isn't so densely branched, I think it will be fine as long as all branches get enough light.
Since all of them are definitely starting to flower now, I turned on the ADlite Red-55 (660nm Deep Red 55w) two days ago and switched the main lamp from 60% (400w) to 80% (520w) since the temperatures finally allow it again.
The other two plants are Fat Herb Pinguicula spec. "Guatemala," my natural insect trap. This species is very robust and can also be watered with lime-containing water.

Unfortunately, I'm a day late, and just like with the plants, the heat stress hit. I used Canna Ryzotronic as a foliar spray against heat stress for the first time, and I think they handled the temperatures around 30°C pretty well. I'll switch to 80% power or 60% power as soon as the temperatures allow, but always so that it never gets above 28°C in the tent.
DLI at 80% = 40-42
DLI at 60% = 28-32
The deep red 660nm adlite has been on for a week now.
Also, there's an extra air supply running with 230-280m³ of extra air that I hang out the window or into another room.

Summer is here along with the heat, and if they were outside, they would have to deal with even more heat. From 12:00 to 18:00, it’s dark with 23-25°C max 50% humidity, and from 18:00 to 23/00:00, it’s a maximum of 30°C at 80% light output from 00:00 to 08:00 at 100% output if I stay below 30°C. 40-45% humidity when the lights are on.
The problem child "Old Tobi" has even become the biggest of them all. Bud and resin production are slowly picking up. I estimate that autoflowers also finish their stretch by the 3rd week. Light defoliation and 4 side branches trained with LST.
Gorilla Punch Auto is already starting to smell deliciously like diesel and Kush. The buds are swelling incredibly nicely, as are the resin glands. I waited a week before I defoliated properly again. Uploaded a before and after video; I might be seeing things, but I notice dark purple spots on the buds. I was already worried about gray mold or something similar. But these buds are rock solid.
Finally, the RESIN MONSTER Mimosa Cake Auto!!!! I've never had a plant that was so completely frosty white in the second week of flowering like others are at the end of flowering. 🤩😍 Its typical Mimosa scent with a heavy pound cake finish. The buds are also swelling with resin, not to mention^^
I will leave the nutrient dosage as is for now and only add a bit of PK 13/14 in week 4. They are growing well, with only minimal burnt leaf tips.

They have literally exploded in terms of bud growth and resin production!!!
Unfortunately, I had to ditch the Mimosa Cake and NL because the substrate was too dry, and I need to have a decent moist substrate without salt buildup at the bottom of the pot during the most critical phase.
The heat isn't causing any problems anymore, but now the humidity from outside is an issue. When the lights go out for 6 hours from noon to 6 PM, there is often a humidity level of 50-60%, but otherwise, it's around 45%-50% RH.
I've only used PK13/14 additionally and increased the booster to 1ml.
Otherwise, I am really satisfied and proud of my 3 Autoflowers :)💚💜🍀🏻

Week 8 is over and the buds are starting to ripen and swell thicker. All the trichomes are milky but no amber color to be found yet. In week 9, I will halve the nutrient dosage and only flush when I see amber color, so 10% of the rest stays nice and milky.
I would estimate a maximum of 14 more days, then they will be ripe, the Gorilla Punch probably sooner!

Forgive my absence, but the heat and a little e-scooter accident held me back^^
I still can't quite believe that in just 9 weeks, with heat issues, dried-out substrate, nitrogen poisoning, etc., such picture-perfect buds have emerged and the terpenes/smell are unmatched.
Old Tobi has revived the 90s Northern Light #5, and my girlfriend is very happy since she chose it, and it has met all expectations.
Fastbuds shared my pictures and videos on X and briefly showed them in a livestream.
I need to check if I can do it again, so there's another Gorilla Punch Auto 🦍 🥊 & Mimosa Cake Auto 🍹🍰 instead of Old Tobi, now there's Longbottom Haze AUTO from V-Buds, an Amnesia Haze Autoflower.

Die Verharzte und absolut Weiße Trichome Schicht wo auf dieser Mimosa Cake Auto
gewachsen ist bei Indoor 18/6 im Zelt im Hochsommer als eine von 3 Automatic Genetiken. Bei hohen Temperaturen ist terpene Verlust garantiert aber was diese Mimosa Cake für Terpene profile hat kann man sich an der Harz Schicht und Funkeln vorstellen.... Sie hat ein noch ausgeprägtes" Mimosa " Frucht ,Orangen,Zitronen cocktail Geruch ohne diese Gummibärchen Note dafür mit Würzigen Käse herb Kuchen Note am Ende!

What a dream of a frosty resin tree this Mimosa Cake Auto is 🍹🍰 and it has surprised me so much what kind of resin was achieved in such a short flowering time, including terpenes as praised in the strain description! I was so skeptical about autoflowering and many say they don't belong indoors blah blah blah... that's why I only kept them on 18/6 and didn't top them. Wanted to enjoy their advantage by letting them grow normally and added extra 660nm Deep Red Adlite from flowering.

Er hat gehalten was er versprochen hatte! Ein Geschmack und Geruch wie damals in Amsterdam der 90er als Nothern Light aka NL#5 ein klassisches Indica stoned ohne High Schnörkel und wer den leicht Holzig,erdigen Geschmack Mit Zitronen Noten von damals kennt und Sucht " Alter Tobi" from V-Buds ist definitiv eine Nothern Light in Autoflower Version ohne Abstriche.

Hier ist GG4 Genetik enthalten und sehr nah am Orginal ähnlich wie bei Mimosa Cake Auto mit einem Hauch Beeren und Kekse. Im Vordergrund steht und eindeutig Gorilla Genetik diese Mischung aus klassischen Kush,Zitrone mit sour Diesel am ende. Beim Rauchen schmeckt man zuerst Einen kräftigen Erdig, Zitrone Kush aroma das in einem chemisch sauren Diesel Geschmack übergeht aber DIESER HAUCH SCHOKOLADE am ende in Kombination mit den Terpenen ist für mich "Orginal"GG4 Geschmack. Dafür das diese Gorilla Punch Auto
nur 35cm groß wurde und 1,7cm Stamm ø und im 11l Topf brachte fast 60g trockene kompakte Harzige Blüten auf die Waage und beweist selbst aus einem Bonsai kann ein Mammut Erfolg abliefern. Wäre mir der N tox nicht passiert und diese Gorilla Punch wäre normal groß geworden hätte sie ohne Probleme eine Normale Photoperiode weit übertroffen und mehr als 100g trocken ertrag möglich gewesen.

BlaKX After 2 weeks in the jar and with previously suboptimal drying conditions, the Gorilla hits me with a punch in the face when opening it. NOW it's almost only typical GG4 to inhale, with some berry and Grand Daddy Purple aroma, probably from Purple Punch, which smells and tastes just as promised by FastBuds. Since these were my first 2 genetics from them, I ordered the same strains again, but instead of "Old Tobi" and Middle-earth, now it's "Longbottom Haze" and Hogwarts. 😄

Canna soil is more than enough for 2 - 3 weeks as long as they are still this small. Your Bat Guano will do the job in the coming weeks. It's better to give a little less than too much; that's the golden rule.

@Stony_German, I only added guano to the Gorilla Punch Auto because the soil had already been used, and I haven't fertilized again until the weekend. But now I've fertilized very lightly with Terra Flores 3ml/L and boost 2ml/L, and she seems to be handling it. I only fertilized the other 2 with 5ml Terra Vega 5ml/L one last time before flowering; I should have only taken half of that^^ the Mimosa has slight clawing.

@BlaKX, I gave this run a bit less grow nutrients, and I have to say they seem to prefer it and are growing faster than my previous grows. The Frozen Tropicana cherry, which was fertilized with Canna Terra mineral nutrients, has only received nutrients twice with EC 1.0 and 1.2 so far. She shows no signs of deficiency. You're doing it right; this is not criticism but just my current experiences that I like to share. Together, we'll all become better growers.😉😁

@Stony_German, I absolutely don't see that as criticism but, as you say, your experience, and that's exactly what I want :) during my last photo grow, I didn't water according to the schedule but according to the plant and used half the amount of nutrients and switched to Canna Terra Professional Plus, which really boosted the taste and aroma. Less is really more 😏😊🤩

They were so much fun, and to see if they take off like that again, I've already got some more, but unfortunately, they arrived a bit early and damn, the "seedlings" are huge this time instead of old Tobi, it's V-Buds Longbottom Haze Auto/Amnesia Haze Auto. You can see at the beginning of the diary how big they were and what kind of trees they've sent now^^
