bauergrows Biddy started showing some lovely pre-flowers, but progress seems to have stalled since last week. At the same time, a fast yellowing has been creeping up from the lower leaves. My first guess was nitrogen deficiency, so she’s already had a couple of waterings with BioBizz Fish Mix this week. We’ve also been hit with plenty of sun and very high temperatures over the past two weeks, so I suspect heat stress might be playing a role in these symptoms too.

bauergrows Trychomes look quite ripe to my taste, but I want to give it one more week cause it looks like it can fatten a bit more. This might still not happen but the wait won't hurt.

Overall, it was a delightful plant to grow: easy, resilient, and sturdy. The colors that appeared once the cold weather set in were amazing — ranging from yellow to purple and green. The smell is sweet and soft but persistent; I can definitely pick up some hints of chocolate, which is the first time I’ve ever found that in a plant. It has a sativa-like structure and is quite leafy. The buds are big, though not as dense as I expected — but that could be my mistake or simply the phenotype. Still, having a sativa that flowers so quickly and early in the season is a real blessing. I’m also a bit sad since this strain has been discontinued, so this is probably going to be my only experience with it. If you still have the chance to grow some seeds, do it — it’s an easy plant to grow, and I’m sure the effects after drying will be something special.

bauergrows Today’s the day and we decided to harvest. A week of rain is about to start, and this plant was the most ready of all. I wanted to cut it a little earlier to avoid overly sedative effects, and the trichomes are looking just right. The smell is really coming through now, and the colors under natural light look incredible. It feels like the perfect moment — a great ending to a really enjoyable grow.
