Hi growers. I have problem with yellowing leafs from the ground like every year around July to the end of harvest. I'm using just BioCanna Vega 40ml to the 11l of water, 3-4 times per week, ph 6.5. I'm trying add just water for a week. I started yesterday. thank you for help!

Hey @Betagemini, your plants looks good first of πŸ‘. This is a common nitrogen deficiency when especially it's lower leaves that turn yellow. If new leaves aren't getting enough nitrogen than they are stealing from older leaves hence the yellowing. It's more common to see this especially as your plant matures it requires higher amount of Nitrogen as it is drawing more nutrients and minerals from the soil. Your plant is huge therefore I can see this happening. As you transition into flowering the plant will still need some nitrogen but far less than in its vegetative stage. If you start seeing brown spots on your leaves then in that case it's also missing some calcium which next year you can add dolomite lime to your soil ahead of transplanting or in the mid-term mix some cal-mag with your water. Looking forward to see this beast in flower.

Hi Guys I need some advice pleas to stop yellowing all the leafs on the plant. I started feeding her with 40ml of Biocanna Flores per 10l of water 3-4times per week and 2 weeks later a I added 100g of guano. Do you thing it is Potassium (K) defeciency? or it is toomuchPhosphorus?

Yellow dots across the whole plant doesn't really scream nitrogen deficiency to me. Usually, a lack of nitrogen starts at the bottom of the plant and works its way to the top. I doubt its root burn. If its only happening on the side where sun is abundant then it could be that the plant is actively using a nutrient in those leaves that it isn't getting enough of in its feedings. looking over the charts I use I don't see any deficiency that looks specifically like what your plant is experiencing. When I see that it usually screams ph issues to me. I would water the plant to get a good amount of runoff next watering. Then ph test the runoff and make sure it is within the proper ph range. I see you have 6 listed as the ph for the current week. That is a bit low of ph to be watering soil with. You usually want it a little higher in the range of 6.3-6.8 and you want to drift in that range to ensure all nutrients have a chance to be absorbed. If it is not a ph issue, try feeding something with a little nitrogen in a low dose. Also looks like possible calcium issues as well, so maybe add a low dose of a calcium supplement. The only other thing I can really think of is the fact that you are using what seems to be an organic nutrient. Organic nutrients do work by themselves, but they work a whole heck of a lot better if you have a good microbiome in your soil. Something like real growers recharge would help you to boost the microbes in your soil which will really help to break down the organic material and feed the plant.

Hi Growers! I will harvest my lady for 10 days. Should I make a flush to her just by water or it’s not necessary? I used organic fertilizers and for 2 months minerals Magnesium&Calcium. Thank you for the answer.

Since you where growing organic but still using fertilizer I recommend at least a week flush. When you flush it improves the smell and taste of buds plus a proper dry and cure. How to flush easy get some distilled or ro water and flush soil that's it your done. Give plain water from now on till harvest. Another tip you still need to pH water when flushing. Some growers say not to flush when organic. That's only true if u haven't feed plant anything but water it's whole life not any kind of nutrients no matter if it's synthetic or organic. Only way to not flush is grow in living soil/super soil.

Carefully inspect the buds and get rid of every bit that shows signs of mold. You really don't want that in your lungs

ice Harvest, now as you already Harvested your question is answered?... you can wash the branches in cold water and natriumbicarbonat( soda). That make them easier to trim and they dry better.. and all little flies dust and kinda stuff is washed away.

@Betagemini, do it in the morning on a warm day.....if possible, they should drain alot of water after that flush. Just do it until you have the feeling everything is running smoothier, soil takes fastr the water....

I think she will be fine. And good thing is that you don't have to worry about defoliate decision. What is the recommended dosage? 100 gram is f 10% P is equal to 10 gram of phosphorus. That should be enough until harvest. With so much phosphorous, I think it is a good time for additive to help her eat. Additive like humic acid and sea weed. I think the diet is not balance and she may want a little more nitrogen and Pattra’s sounds layer. Also I think this is a good time for calcium / iron supplement also. Looking at all the ingredients, Chocomel has all these!
Betagemini
Betagemini
@Med_in_Tropic, Oh thank you for your informative message! I will buy Canna Mono K (potassium) and hopefully that it stop yellowing. Happy growing and harvest.😎
Med_in_Tropic
Med_in_Tropic
@Betagemini, pattra’s sound layer is the help from my auto correction. I meant to say potassium. From the label on the guano, it said 1-10-1. Then this is phosphate rich guano. But 100 gram of this has high phosphate that may cause imbalance. I think she wants more K potassium. If there is enough K in the biocanna then it is great. If there is more phosphate in the liquid fertilizer then it is too much. I have no idea of the fertilizer percentage on Biocanna Flores. I think I would wait a couple of week until your plant assimilate the phosphorus before using fertilizer with more phosphorus. With high phosphorous, calcium can be locked out. I think potassium should help center the balance toward her flowering demand. It would not cause the full yellowing of leaves. Lack of nitrogen might be the culprit. But I would not risk adding nitrogen. So let the yellowing be. Yes, chocomel is a chocolate milk. Milk is a good source of calcium and potassium. And soil microbes convert protein into safe form of nitrogen. It is an expensive way of fertilizing. But I have seen farmer feed their giant pumpkin . It’s an old trick that people use when the enter contest at farmers fair. If you forget to drink your milk, feed it to your plants. Mix 200 ml milk to 800 ml water. About yellow leaves, my plants are not pretty. For me I feed my plants during flowering until I get burnt leaves. Doesn’t always work out for me in all situation.
Betagemini
Betagemini
@Med_in_Tropic, I have every year this problem with yellowing leafs but in the automatic flowers no problem at all. So the biocanna flores and guano is not enough? And what is Pattra's sounds layer? Chocomel is the milk drink right?

@Med_in_Tropic, Hi bro, my experince is that the plants will start blooming around a middle of august or 1st of the semptember which is late. I have never been hearing about go back to vegging before. I think you have right. She will be OK now! βœ”οΈ
Med_in_Tropic
Med_in_Tropic
@Betagemini, I was just continuing on your idea. For continuing, what is your experience with 14 hours light? Will she go back to vegging? On the other hand, I would not want to damage the flowers. My opinion is that I would not cover her anymore. I think once the flowering hormone started, she will continue to flower. But please check with people in your area. I am in the tropic. So happy for you!

@Med_in_Tropic,yep, thanks to you! Can I cover her or I can’t do that?😊🌞

I think some root was damaged. But you plant is big. Critical +2 takes only 6 weeks to flower. Around the first week of October you will have very good harvest. I think your plant will keep producing until then. I think your girl is moving nutrients from leaves into tips and buds. Just let us t be. Feed her with flowering nutrient like your single K and cal mag additive. If you try to repair the root, it may cause smaller buds. You are okay. Plant is not winning beauty contest but still will have very good harvest and smoke.
