Started out nicely, root system looks real strong with lots of secondary roots, not quite in the res yet but that's because I let her root in the rock wool cube for a few days before putting in her bucket.
She does look a little pale and a couple of tiny spots on her leaves but I'm not concerned at this early stage as I know from the breeder notes on this strain that she can be a bit sensitive to nutrients so I'm going to take it easy with her.
I'm hoping for a real stinky pheno here as I do love a stinky bit of cheese 🧀
So annoyed with myself, was really trying to get off to a great start but ended up burning my poor baby with my new edition of a heater!
She stalled for a few days but shes growing again and she will survive but far from ideal but hopefully I can pull it back!
Not going well by any stretch of imagination, most issues I have ever encountered, I think I have a phosphorus deficiency which is weird in veg as it's definitely mobile as just moves from 1 leaf to the next, not really liking the mega crop so I have changed the res today back to my old nutrients, glad to have a crystal clear res again, if I can pull it back now we should be good but if this deficiency Carrie's on spreading to new growth on the new nodes I might have to think about pulling her 😂 next few days are crucial so fingers crossed 🤞
Finally getting on top of the phosphorus deficiency 👊 and just in the nick of time as no nodes were affected 😛, I've removed the pretty much dead leaves that were there, I expect her to fill out the next couple weeks and she could be a big girl as normally my girls start quite squat in my setup and then explode so she is quite tall for me at this stage, roots look great, starting to get a better colour to her and shes eating through the res now so I've had to start topping up now. Keep watching guys as the fun is about to begin 😎

How do I get on top of a phosphorus deficiency in veg as cant seem to shift it, new growth has yellow tips purple stems and getting some spotting and black patches on leaves, have been adding PK 13/14 at 1ml/l to the res for last few weeks which has slowed it down but not got rid
Stop using PK 13/14. Save this product for when your in the mid to end of bloom. Your part A/B should already have enough for your plants in veg. You definately have a PK excess. K blocks out magnesium. P blocks out iron, manganese,zinc or copper. It looks like you have either a magnesium or an iron deficiency or both. You can use Epsom salt(magnesium sulfate) as a foliage spray at 1 teaspoon per gallon add a few drops of baby shampoo as a surfactant. Spray every 4 or five days until she greens up again. Be sure to spray the underside of the leaves as best you can. Do this at lights out so the lights don't magnify the water drops leaving brown spots on the leaves. I she's not greening up you can do the same thing with an iron product or a product that contains iron. You may be able to use Epsom salt in your hydro solution but I don't know what the dose would be. Hope this greens your girls up good luck.
Spread this girl out and super cropped the main, canopy is alot more even now, think I might have gone the other way with this phosphorus as the leave tips are getting more yellow and I dont see how it can be a deficiency anymore as shes been eating PK 13/14 for breakfast lunch and dinner for the past 3 weeks so maybe it's now excess? Anyway gave her a new res and took out the pk to try to green her up over the next week or 2 before flip 💪
She has been greening up nicely over the past week, would've have preferred her leaves to be a bit darker before flipping but I cant wait any longer as will run out of space, should be fine though as she will be on veg nutes still for next week or 2 so I should be able to get enough nitrogen in her for flower 🤞
Happy with how she has greened up now but I got some more spots appearing, not sure if it's the phosphorus deficiency coming back or if I need to up the calmag but this girl is very sensitive it seems!
Spread her out a bit more to try and get a more even canopy, hopefully she starts forming buds soon! Thanks for following 😏
Still battling deficiency's so I guess it will be like this till chop considering I have been battling with this girl since day 1 but all good as nothing seems to really slow her down, drinking heavy now so topping up res in the morning and evening otherwise the water level drops to low, think i saw the first pistil earlier so by next weeks update she should be fully flowering 😊
Buds have started forming and she is looking pretty good, still got a slight cal deficiency and the top leaves are still a little yellow but I'm not to concerned, did some defoliation and will do another round this week then it's time to let them buds grow and get fat! 😛
Coming along nicely although I think she has more of the Sativa side to this pheno as long internode spacing etc so I hope she fills out, throwing out some early frost though and starting to smell stronger, still a slight calmag issue but overall I think she us the healthiest she has been all grow so no complaints 👍
Everything going according to plan, really happy with this girl so far, Its been a fight trying to get and keep this girl healthy but at this point she is the healthiest she has been all grow, a few burnt tips but that is it.
Did a bit more training this week to open her up but will most likely leave her now until harvest, hoping she is going to start to fill in, in the next few weeks and if she does she will be a nice yielder, she has that classic cheese aroma which is getting stronger every day and I cant wait to smoke her 😊
This is 3 weeks after showing pistils so going pretty good, shes smells great and has got a nice bit of frost, will be adding a far red strip led light for the rest of flowering so let's see if that gives the trichome production a boost but very happy so far, I still think she has a good 5 weeks left maybe even 6 but lets see! 🧀
Buds are not that big and I dont think she will fill in all the way but she is nice and frosty and smells delicious! Top leaves are really starting to yellow up and some of the serated edges are turning purple already so she might be a fast finisher but I hope she goes another few weeks at least to put some weight on 🤞
Fattening up nicely and lots of trichomes, she is starting to fade, I'm gradually dropping nutes every week, I think 2 more weeks left maximum 3 but let's see 🤓
Calyxes are starting to swell, the buds are not the biggest but they are rock solid and nice and frosty, she looks nearly done to me but trichs are still mainly clear so I'm letting her go a bit longer 🧀
Been hot in the tent this week, she is telling me she is almost done with the autumn colours starting to come out in the leaves, trichomes confirmed it as almost all cloudy now so she will get 3/4 days of new millenium winter frost and then 3 days plain ph water, will chop next weekend, can't wait 😊
Last update as getting chopped tonight, shes a bit of a mess as branches flopping all over the place but the smell coming off her is intense, not the biggest buds but there are alot of branches and there rock solid so I think there will be a fair bit of weight still, cant wait to get her dried and cured so i can try these buds 🤪
Very nice strain, smell is not the strongest for a cheese strain but that might be because we had a heat wave during drying so dried a bit quicker then normal, got that classic skunky cheese taste that fills the mouth, tasty stuff!
yoo buddy !! innoculate fungis as soon as possible all around roots….mycorrhizae first and bacterias….Myco can chelate your lack of phosporus….and increase ur growth as a bio controler/fertilizer ...👍 if u can add some trichoderma it is better...for Chelated N 👊

i am not using hydro….but if you want to use fungis in hydro (that i recommend ^^) you have to make a bio filter for hosting fungis/bacterias…..on clay Peebles it can't work….this bio filter is a place where bacterias and fungis can develop themselves
….before entering in your hydro loop…. it is better to add to your clay a bit of coco on to ensure/maximize effects...hope it help 🙏

@@Spaceman, cheers bro! TBH to many strains out there to try so might be my one and only time running cheese, if I was gonna run it again I would probably go with the original big buddha cheese.
That cheese looking good. I dont have spliffs cheese but i do have a cheese i think i might grow it out when i start back up keep up the good work cant wait to see what you pull off that pbk she looks good too
It looks like you have 2-3 weeks to go most of the pistils still look white. I see you never used your pk 13/14. It's a bit on the late side but you still have some time to give her a few pops of pk 13/14 in this weeks feeding. The added potassium will help bulk up those buds a bit over the next couple of weeks.
@Philindicus, thanks for looking she will start getting pk 13/14 this week, it is only 3 weeks since pistils so she still has 4 to 6 weeks left in my opinion but we will see!
She looks healthy. Hard to clearly see in the photos but it looks like all your newer growth looks fine. If thats the case your good. The deficiencies showing in the lower/older fan leaves is just that old damage which will not repair itself.Since your starting to bloom you can start to defoliate the lower 1/3 of the plant if you would like to. Take off large fan leaves and tiny bud sites. This will focus the plants energy into the upper buds.You can also tuck a few leaves to get as much light to the bud sites as possible.

Yeah you cant really see in the photos but I have spots and patches on the leaves, I should've changed to bloom nutes a week earlier I think but it's not to bad, she will get defoliated tonight but I will leave the lower bud sites as want to see how far this quantum board can penetrate and also I like to make bubble hash with the popcorn 😋
@Philindicus, thanks! I actually let the ph drift between 5.8 and 6.2, I think she is happy now where she is at, she is greening up from the bottom with only the top to go now so hopefully shes a nice colour by next week and I can get rid of the yellow tips
