Do you have a problem in your root zone? If not, there is no reason to flush. PLant biology doesn't work that way. Flushing doesn't do anything in regard to what is already in the plant. It does not have an excrection system for nutrients.
You can be lazy if you want... I stop mixing nutrients toward end, not becaue i think it benefits the plants, but becaue the leaves and what remains in the medium can provide for the plant temporarily. I would not do this with a weak or damaged canopy. Don't 'flush', though.. just irrigate as you normally would. No need for excess water stripping a healthy medium of nutrients.
if you have a toxicity, flushing can help dilute the medium... cause to a needed effect.. If there is no need, don't do it.
