It's an "old classic" from their collection, that was sent as a free sample with my order.
According to Juan from Kannabia, "It's always worthy and interesting. And as an autoflowering strain, you're not going to have any kind of possible problems with that (100% sure)".
Challenge accepted. (I'll be gentle, I promise.)

After choosing which seed I wanted to start with, I decided to try out the Sproutly Seed Germinator that Kannabia also sent.
It seemed almost wasteful to use it on just one seed. So as an added bonus, I put three extremely difficult chili seeds in it 😎
We're going to find out just how well this germinator works!
36 hours later and the shell had cracked. Another 8 hours and she had a tail of about 0.6cm long.
Opinion so far about the germinator:
In comparison to conventional methods of germinating seeds, I don't see any difference in results. The added cost is also something I would have to take to mind as it doesn't immediately add anything to my yields. However.. and this may be situational, but..
If you are someone who's down on your luck with germination, or you are someone who is constantly popping 5+ beans, hands down, get this thing. You are going to notice a difference in your wallet because your beans will be popping consistently. And unless you get your beans for free, you may be popping upwards of 50 bucks/EUR at a time.
An added bonus is the hygiene aspect. The germinator kit is sterile, which we can't say for most of our glasses, cups, pots, etc..
PH checking your water should already be part of your schedule, and making sure there is no chlorine in your water too! So be sure to attend to those too.

She showed her face today! Right as I was going to go to bed.. yay.
She was right in time to show me that impregnating the medium with a full dose of Plagron nutrients, including a full 3g/4L of BoostX, before the seed went in, was NOT the best stress test I have thought of yet. Look at the burnt little leaf tips 😭
As the rest of the leaves are doing well, I will rest assured tonight that she will be okay.
-------------------------------------------
So what kind of stress tests do I have in mind? Just some normal newbie mishaps...
1. have the medium fully loaded when the seed goes in - how does she handle early nutrients?
2. let (first run, hst on an other run) slight bending of branches - how sturdy is she?
3. She's currently in the tent with a Northern Lights who is mad hungry for ppfd. This little seedling is bathing in 400ppfd. - How does she handle intense light?
4. There are clay pebbles mixed in with the soil - what happens when her autoflower tail hits one of those pebbles?
I may or may not think of a few more things as the days go by.. 😈

Thank you Kannabia for giving out free samples with customers' orders!

There she stands in all her glory! Her stem is about 3cm long. Healthy and not leggy!
As you can see, her stalk is starting to form as the first set of true leaves has separated themselves from the cotyledons. Also, the next set of true leaves is starting to separate themselves from the first set.
And thus starts the first week of veg.
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
There wasn't much to do with this little one so far. The past six days, she was watered+fed (full doses) twice. Both times only 200ml.
Will have to step that up to 300-400ml starting next watering, which should be tomorrow. She's 55cm away from the lights and bathing in 400ppfd.
It may be too early to judge but, it looks like she handles nutrients given way to early like a champ!! Will be interesting to see this one grow!
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
Lastly, I included some pictures of the initial first watering.
Using the Flexapot for this grow was very handy. It reflected my poor watering habits!
One can see where the dirt is wet. One can also see where no water had been poured. Took a couple attempts but the medium was finally completed moisturized and impregnated with nutrients and microbes.
Personally, I enjoy 20L pots. This one is only 3.8L
Dunno how I am going to manage this, but there is no intention of potting up this plant when it gets bigger.

There she stands in all her glory! She is healthy and not leggy!
The first pair of five-pointers are fully developed, with the first set of seven-pointers nearly half developed.
And thus starts the second week of the veg diary!
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
She is drinking well (750ml every 3 - 4 days).
Her leaves are a dark green. Perhaps from N, perhaps from Microbes, and perhaps it's just her natural color!
She is showing no signs of being stressed and is handling the 30C tent temps AND 450ppfd like a boss! 😍

Found out the hard way that my ph meter needed adjusting. In fact, now that I think about it, I didn't test it when I purchased it so it may have been off slightly the entire time 😱 Was off by +0.7%
Also may have thrips, but I don't see any. Perhaps the white spots on the leaves are ph related?
Funny story though, within 10 minutes of having had the white spots pointed out to me, a ladybug flew into the lung room. Caught it and released it into the tent 😈 If I find her corpse within a few days, we'll know there are no thrips!
Removed the two affected leaves anyway.

Aug 10
Ordered nematodes and 30 ladybug larvae, just to be safe. I'm also contemplating setting up a ladybug hotel/lodge for a year round supply of predators 😈
(Hopefully) Chased out the bad ph with a new batch of feed. 6.3%ph and didn't even need PH Min!!
Poured until I received 1L of runoff 💪

That's the end of Flower Week 1 !
This week, a heat wave struck again. It got up to 35C outside! Temps inside the tent hit an unbearable 39C 😱
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
Aug 11
Watered and fed. Applied the Nematodes (preventive measure) and Ladybug larvae. Fingers crossed the larvae help! Do not see any other creepy crawlies. Perhaps they died off?
Removed Alga grow and started her on Alga Bloom and Power Buds.
She's getting smelly though, in a positive way! Can't quite recognize what she smells like..
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
Aug 14
No creepy crawlies in sight, but the situation on the leaves is getting worse. 👿 Do not know what to make of it.
I installed a "Hotel" in the tent and laid a cool-pack in it (changed twice a day) with 10-15 moist cotton balls and 2 slices of apple, just incase.
Unfortunately, most of the larvae did not make it through the heatwave. Some of them did find the Hotel though, so that was cool!
Watered and fed again.
Her smell is getting more intense, and I now know what it resembles: skunk spray! Nearly threw up when I opened the tent 😂
She smells like a dead roadkill skunk that has been lying in the blistering Texas sun for 3 days 😆 I'm taking this as a good sign, though unexpected for the first week of stretch!

Made the weekly pictures for the diary. You can see that the spots have gotten worse, but there are no creepy crawlies on her. Neither are there any corpses in the drip tray. Will still continue with the application of Larvae, when. the weather gets cooler again. That should be Tuesday or Wednesday.
I also don't know why the yellowing on the leaves is coming back, but she still wants to grow, so I will persist!
She isn't quite thirsty yet, but will need a feeding tomorrow.
She's still drinking well, so she has that going for her!

Big thanks for putting our Kickass Auto the spotlight of this grow diary 💜✨. She’s off to a dreamy start with Sproutly 🌱💫. We’re rooting for you both to grow together and reach top results 🚀🌸. Sending you a full wave of our orange vibes from Kannabia 🧡🌞. Enjoy every chapter of this adventure! 📖🌿
@BrediniGreeny, This run may not go so smoothly, but that is partially intentional. I've thought up several newly mistakes that anyone could make, and testing how she responds to those circumstances.
The next run of this strain, I may apply HST or, wait until the 3rd run to do that. The second run, I might keep my hands off her to see how she normally grows. Haven't decided yet.
