India_Calcoen 11-07-2025 I took two tablets HEMA coco coir, but when I added water it became substrate and not a pellet to plant in. I hoped I could germinate two seeds in these pellets, but I needed a different tactic. I took a biodegradable pot and put all the coco coir in it. It didn’t really feel airy and fluffy as I hoped, but I hope it will do the trick. 🤞 14-07-2025 My seed has germinated! Trying a second run because my plant in the first run stayed small. This time I’m going to feed it with Plagron products. I hope my plant will grow better.

India_Calcoen 16-07-2025 I put my seedling, including the biodegradable pot she has germinated in, into a 7 liter pot on my balcony. I bought a really handy watering can. It fits exactly one liter. In Dutch I call it a ‘litergieter’. But that’s only funny for Dutch people 🇳🇱

India_Calcoen 23-07-2025 I watered twice 330 ml with the Plagron-solution (2ml/l Alga Grow) last week. The rest of the watering came from the rain. The plant is doing fine. But I will need to check on her more frequently when she gets bigger. It is very windy on the balcony.

India_Calcoen 1-08-2025 White Widow is doing fine! She is growing fast and her leaves are nice and green. I’m really happy with her. She gets 300 ml of water with Alga Grow (2ml/l) three times a week, the rest of the week she gets rain.

India_Calcoen 09-09-2025 Yesterday evening I noticed some bright yellow spots on the leaves of my White Widow. I didn’t know what it was. Today I saw that the spots turned brown. I tried to wipe it off, but I couldn’t. I think this is downy mildew. I moved the plant to the garage. The garage is quite dry and has a better humidity level than the greenhouse. I hope this will not spread. I don’t know what to do about it…

India_Calcoen 19-09-2025 White Widow is growing in the garage but today I took her out to enjoy the sun. She looked really nice. Her buds were shining in the sun ☀️❤️ 22-09-2025 I checked her buds today and the trichomes are mostly clear. Unfortunately I found some bud rot and cut it off. Afterwards I sprayed her with Cannacure. I also cut some yellow leaves off.

India_Calcoen 24-09-2025 White Widow had a really nice main cola, but unfortunately the biggest bud was affected by bud rot and I had to decapitate her ☹️ I cut off some more buds due to budrot. I put the nice looking parts wet into the NOIDS-pot with the wet Purplematic CBD buds. I will make some oil with it. It will be surprise oil. No idea about the strength, taste or the effect 🤷‍♀️ The trichomes are still mostly clear…

India_Calcoen 3-10-2025 Trichomes are still mostly clear. I’m going on a vacation for one week and I’m doubting about harvesting before or after my vacation. I saw some bud rot, so maybe it’s better to harvest sooner… 5-10-2025 I decided to follow the advice Natrona gave me earlier this year when I was growing my 1st White Widow. I harvested some buds now and I will harvest the rest of the buds later when I’m back from my vacation 🇪🇪 🇪🇪

I harvested and hung to dry a few buds on 5-10-2025 just before going on a vacation. After 10 days of drying I had doubts about the quality of my buds so I asked my husband to make me a joint and I smoked my first joint ever! I asked him to test as well and he said that it tasted like the weed he remembered from his teenage years. I’m glad I had a nice experience with these early buds. When I came back after 10 days I could throw all my nice fat buds that were still growing on my plant out because they were covered in mould. I really regretted that I didn’t harvest the entire plant before leaving. I left some smaller buds that were not affected by mould and harvested them today, 21-10-2025 after 97 days of growing.

India_Calcoen 21-10-2025 I harvested the last parts of White Widow. She is finished now. Her buds were quite airy and I battled with mould. I’m glad it is finished now. She’s hanging to dry together with Euphoria CBD.

@Kushycat, I have learned that it is worth checking strains for mould resistency. Most important feature☝️😅 and the second important feature is a short flowering time.

Hey, ich würde sie ersteinmal isolieren von den anderen . Hast du schon Nemöl ausprobiert einfach nen schluck davon in die Sprühflasche mit wasser verdünnen und auf die behandelnde blätter drauf sprühen .beobachte deine anderen Pflanzen ob sie gleiche anzeichen haben . Das wäre ärgerlich wenn der mehltau schon Sporen auf die anderen pflanzen sich niedergelassen haben . ich hoffe ich konnte dir weiter helfen :-/

@S0cke, thank you! Tomorrow I will isolate the plant with downy mildew. I ordered a bottle of Cannacure and I will spray my plants with it. I hope it will help. Thanks for your advise. If I don’t like the Cannacure, I will try Neem oil next time.
