JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
A week ago, I set up the Jiffys. The Cherry Ocean popped up after just 48 hours, it’s never been this fast! Shortly after, the Yuzu Burn also showed up. The other two are still taking their time, but they have already germinated (I checked specifically). Hopefully, they'll come through.
Edit:
All the newly planted seeds have come out of the soil within 48 hours.
I took a closer look at the two seeds that hadn’t popped up before and I think I accidentally damaged the roots when I was “checking” on them. That’s probably why they never came out of the Jiffy, so that’s my fault.
So, the germination rate is 100% for both Tokesly and Cipher Genetics.
I plan to keep the plants in the veg phase for a short time since it gets really tight with four plants in the 60x60 tent and I don’t have exact information on the stretch.
With topping and scrog, I want to bring them to an even height later on.
Also, I got myself an AutoPot system, a 2-pack of the easy2grow system with 8.5-liter pots and the airdomes, the full package.
The substrate consists of 60% Canna Bio Terra Plus and 40% clay pebbles (Toom).
I fertilized with Green House Feeding Grow (5 g/L), BioTabs Silicium Flash (5 g/L), and worm humus (Dehner) about 160 g.
Watering is done with tap water and BioCanna Rhizotonic (4 ml/L).

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my second indoor grow.
The newly planted seeds popped up within 48 hours from the Jiffys and were planted directly into the final pots. Now the tent is fully stocked with all the strains.
The Cherry Ocean is clearly outpacing the others, with an incredibly fast growth rate. I've already topped it, but it just keeps growing like nothing happened. No sign of a recovery pause after topping.
Other than that, it’s now a waiting game and letting nature take its course.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
There was quite a bit to do again. The Cherry Ocean had to be topped for the second time, hoping to squeeze out another week of veg phase. Unfortunately, it's growing unstoppable (suffering from success). The Scarlet Fever was also topped. I'm giving it a bit more time to recover, and then it's off to flowering for everyone, as space is getting tight...
Unfortunately, all the plants are different sizes and growing at different rates. You can definitely tell that the other two came in a week later.
I watered with tap water and BioCanna Vega/Rhizotonic. All the plants, except for the Yuzuburn, are handling the nutrients well. The Yuzuburn is growing very slowly; for comparison: it's only two days younger than the Cherry Ocean.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
The ladies have been trained with LST, and I decided to top the Strawberry Lobster.
Yesterday, the flowering stage was initiated. To switch things up, I started with 40 g of Greenhouse BioBloom.
I watered with Biotabs PK Boost (10 ml/L) and Greenhouse Enhancer (1 g/L). I will water the ladies from above two to three more times to ensure the Greenhouse nutrients are well washed into the soil, and then I will activate the AutoPot system.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
The stretch is in full swing. The net is a big help for getting everything on the same level and filling the space evenly. All the plants look magnificent and are getting plenty of nutrients plus additives. Today was the last time I watered from above.
Starting next week, the AutoPot system will be running. The tank only has water with a bit of Canna CalMg. There should actually be enough nutrients mixed into the soil, but just to be safe, I added four Toom fertilizer sticks (NPK 4-4-4) into the soil per plant.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
This week has been quite eventful.
At the beginning of the week, I broke a main stem while training, shit happens.
Then I was away for five days.
The good news: The AutoPot system took great care of the ladies, and they grew nicely.
The bad news: Due to my absence, I unfortunately couldn't ensure that all the stems received equal light and grew evenly. So, another main stem had to go because it was in the shade and didn't even make it over the net.
At the end of the week, the ladies were defoliated, and I removed all the stems that were in the shade or only grew at net height, unfortunately, there were quite a few.

I'm really looking forward to the terps!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
Just a quick update since I’ll be away for a week. The next update will follow as usual the Monday after next.
While defoliating, I discovered a pollen sack on the Tokesly. To avoid further issues, it was removed right away. Such a shame, it really smelled delicious like grape and fruit.
The other plants are doing well. They received another 2 g of BioBloom per liter and 1 g of BioGrow per liter.
The stretch is slowly coming to an end, and if it stays this way, I’m very happy with the height.

I’m excited to see how it looks when I get back!
Until next time!
JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my second indoor grow!
After seven days away, I'm back.
The AutoPot system has reliably taken care of the ladies, and they've grown into a real jungle. I'm now a big fan of the system, as it makes watering a breeze, especially during longer absences. One downside is that I can't raise individual plants to balance out different stretches.
However, my absence during the early flowering phase has left its mark. The ladies, especially the slowly growing Yuzu Burn, have really bulked up. The Yuzu Burn is now even the biggest plant in the tent. Even though I set the light at a good distance, the plants still got too close to it. The Strawberry Lobster has suffered a bit of bud bleaching because of that.
Also, I discovered a little "Nana" on her during the second defoliation (probably closed). I meticulously searched all the plants and couldn't find another Nana.
A lot hasn't gone as I envisioned during this grow, but I'm making the best of it now.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
This week has been super chill, the AutoPot system is running on its own. Once a week I fill the tank with tap water and a bit of Canna CalMag, and that's it.
The buds are getting thicker and maturing nicely. Next week there will be an update on the smell.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
The setup is almost boring: The tank is filled with tap water and a bit of Canna CalMag, then a few leaves are removed here and there, and just like that, a week has gone by. Really completely stress-free.
Now to the promised scents and the ladies:
The Strawberry Lobster has the thickest buds. It smells sweet and tropical-fruity, with a hint of citrus and strawberry jam, kind of reminds me of Grape Soda or Fanta. Even though it had a week less of veg than the other two, it will probably yield the most. Strong growth!
The Yuzu Burn is extremely frosty. Even the big leaves are covered in trichomes, it looks almost surreal. The name says it all: It actually smells like Yuzu, a mix of lemon, orange, and tangerine. At first, it was the slowest in growth, and now it’s the biggest in the tent…
The Cherry Ocean forms buds that look like little Christmas trees and they smell just like that. A very strong pine or conifer scent with a hint of sea breeze. “Ocean” fits, but cherry or other fruity notes are completely missing. However, it’s starting to purple, which looks really nice.
I’m very curious to see how the scents and buds develop further. If anything changes, I’ll definitely report back.

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my second indoor grow!
We're nearing the end. I estimate about two more weeks. When you open the tent, it smells very sweet and fruity.
The ladies have all formed beautiful buds and are starting to show a bit of purple.
I gave them a fertilizer cocktail from the top for the final phase. This time I'm really very satisfied with all the feeding: No deficiencies like in the last run, and the ladies are looking great. A lot helps a lot, at least in my organic grow.
Also, I can only repeat how stress-free the AutoPot system is. The top feeding worked super well too, just close the AutoPot system and water from the top two to three times to ensure the nutrients are well distributed and flushed into the soil.
The only downside is the humidity. The dehumidifier runs 24/7 and keeps it just around 57% during the dark phase.
That's not optimal, but the consistently humid weather outside leaves me with no other choice at the moment.
Hopefully, the promised dry heating air will come soon.

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my second indoor grow!
Unfortunately, there’s some really bad news: Several buds have bud rot. The affected flowers were immediately removed completely, and I had to harvest the ladies today. I would have liked to give them another week, but the risk was too high for me. In total, three buds were affected, twice Strawberry Lobster and once Cherry Ocean. All the others seem to be fine. I opened them up and checked with a magnifying glass. Now they are drying separately in the DryFerm bags.
A harvest update will follow along with the smoke report in about 3–4 weeks.
Wishing you all a great start to the week!

JackOfAllTrades Yuzu Burn is a great genetic variety. It didn't mess around and will definitely be going back in the tent. This time with better conditions…
Servus und willkommen zu meinem 2. Indoor-Grow.

JackOfAllTrades Super grown and unbelievable what was on her after just 3 weeks of veg. The terps didn't disappoint either. She's going to get a second chance in the tent with better conditions!
Dried in DryFerm bags for 12 days (19 degrees/55% RH). Then cured for 4 weeks at 17 degrees in the TerpLock bag. Effect 5/5: Very motivating effect, it pushes you forward. No couch lock. Still very pleasant and great for a social evening. I am very satisfied with it. Taste 3/4: It tastes like walking over a flower meadow. Lavender, marigolds, rose, etc. Very intense, almost like a perfume. Some fruit and vanilla in the aftertaste. When you open the bag, a sea and shrimp smell comes out, but it doesn't reflect in the taste. Unfortunately, no cherry terps. Appearance 1/1: Beautiful purple flowers :)

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my 2nd indoor grow.
I'm really glad that the Cherry Ocean survived! It's truly a great plant with a strong effect. It was one of the hungrier plants. Definitely going back in the tent!
Very annoying but not the end of the world. If you had been there, tape would have probably fixed it. The ladies will still gift you many delicious buds in the end 😏😉
I hope the Strawberry Lobster survives. I have it firmly planned for the next grow (+Strawberry Guava/Bloom Seeds and Blue Razzsicle/Cleatwater Genetics). Since I couldn't find any info on Strawberry Lobster either, your grow would be very interesting for me. I wish you good luck, growmie.
@Stony_German, Hey, thanks a lot! Unfortunately, the Strawberry Lobster isn't showing up :( I've now put 3 more seeds in the glass of water ✊🏼 the Cherry Ocean will then have 2 weeks longer of vegetation time. In the future, I will germinate more seeds than needed. Hopefully, I won't have space issues and everything will be on one level :)
Good luck with your run. The Cherry Ocean is also high on my list for the next run 🤘😄 Hope the 5g/l Greenhouse Feeding Grow isn't too much. I had some issues with a strain at just 3g/l :/
@Hawii_ReLoaded, Thank you very much! Okay good to know, then I know what to look for in case of problems. So far, the two seedlings are doing very well :)
@Hawii_ReLoaded, I have planned 3.5 to 4 weeks of VEG. Today, the seeds I planted the day before yesterday have come up from the Jiffy. I'll see how long the VEG runs in the end spontaneously, depending on how the plants grow. I think with different training, topping, and a scrog net, I can get everything to the same height :).
Wow... What monster buds! 😅 Good luck with the dehumidifying. Check out the dehumidifier from Spider Farmer (with the hose option), it might be even more efficient. I just ordered one. During the peak bloom, I sometimes had one running in the tent plus one in the room.
@Buffi, Thanks Growmie! I'm currently eyeing the Vivosun dehumidifier. But I really don't have any more space in the living room without it looking like an industrial hall...
Ah man, that's really annoying with the mold! But how can that be, your humidity was always below 60% and the temperature in the 20s? How can bud rot develop like that? If the humidity was at 70% for several days and it was 18 degrees at night in the tent, I could understand that. But like this, was it due to the strains? Very unfortunate..
@Ganjin, yeah, it's really a bummer. I can't explain it either, except that 55% is enough for fist-sized buds, which were sometimes twice as big as in the last run. Well, and then there was the incident in week 4 of flowering when I was on vacation, and the plant babysitter had the brilliant idea to close the door to the hallway. The dehumidifier was in the hallway. As a result, the humidity rose to 80% for 4 days... I suspect that's what caused it.
Hey, I´ve seen u got some problems with budrot. Ive had the same problem last run, for the first time. I also had bigger buds than the last runs, because i doubled my light output. Recently i had a guy recommend me to spray my plants with a 1:20 solution of water:purolyt in veg and that should prevent budrot and other forms of mold. I am currently testing it out.
@Hanibert, nice man! I also heard about Porolyt. Really interresting. This run I didnt have any problems. Last run I had a few humidity issues while I was in vacation… that was the cause of budrot. I will Check out your dairy and what you think about purolyt:)

Damn!! That’s so frustrating with the bud rot. I feel for you, bro 😉 The Strawberry Lobster looked so delicious 😳 the next attempt will definitely work out… I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!
@Hawii_ReLoaded, Thanks Bro! Yeah, I was really upset too and it broke my heart. Well, she’s going into the next tent with support ;). The Cherry Ocean survived, the Smoke Report will follow after the cure ;)
Too bad, but they're almost done. I would recommend more airflow right away since 53% RH should be the main issue, but with grow tents under 80x80, it's just hard to manage without blowing them up too much, which causes other problems. And a dehumidifier wouldn't be that simple either. The Spiderfarmer I have blows out drier air stronger than I'd like, as I have to turn my Prima Klima up more to prevent the tent from inflating, which would make the carbon filter unnecessary and would stink up the whole house during flowering. In the end, you did the right thing. I'm looking forward to the harvest report, smoke report, and terp smell and taste update.
@Stony_German, I'll come up with something for the next grow 🤙🏼 thanks for your feedback on the dehumidifier. I will use PC fans for the next grow. They'll be dried soon. Then just 2 weeks of curing and then it'll be time to try it out :)
@Stony_German, I was sick last week and couldn't smell anything, but now I'm slowly getting back to normal. The Strawberry Lobster smells damn good, that's one thing I can already tell you ;)
Those are going to be beautiful buds 😁💪
I think an automatic watering system is a must. When set up correctly, it makes the grow 1000 times more flexible time-wise... especially when you can't be home for a few days.
It will all become more homogeneous soon. The recovery will also give them a larger root system. They will be much less held back by topping compared to the shoots that first have to redistribute the apical dominance hormones due to topping. I'm really looking forward to your Lobsters. I'm starting in a week too. The big ones are almost done.
@Stony_German, thank you so much for your feedback! Yes, that's true, the 2 late ones have really caught up :). I'm really hoping for strawberry terps! Your lobster grow is going to be very exciting because you always get the most out of them 🔥
It's a shame about the buds you had to dispose of. I'm also a big fan of Canna Terra soil and nutrients. The best mineral nutrient in combination with tap water. No need to use an osmosis system. The only thing I like about BioBizz Lightmix is the high N values and the amount of compost in it; I like to use it for the first 2 weeks, but Canna Terra is just better. Drainage is a disaster with BioBizz; without extra perlite, you overwater way too often. What's planned next?
