@Natrona, Good morning sister, with living no-till soil you never flush unless something went wrong,flushing just kills off the microbes and balance you’ve been building. Best move there is chop & drop, leave the roots, and top-dress with compost or amendments.
If it’s a reused bagged mix with other words not true living soil, then yeah, a rinse can clear salts, but you’ll still need to fix compaction and nutrient loss. Most just cut it with fresh soil and perlite and re-amend instead of flushing the whole thing. Keeps the structure and biology much healthier in the long run. 🌿
So yes I would treat soil differently than coco coir depending on situation of course.
