Super Boof feat. Auto Euforia

BudsPerMinute The plants have come out of the soil today. There's nothing special this week, I water when the surface is dry. The plan for this grow is not really LST but just to guide the side branches from the main stem, but maybe I'll top the plants too.

BudsPerMinute Week 2 The plants are developing quite well. Nothing special this week except that I'm slowly adding RhinoSkin now.

BudsPerMinute Week 3 Contrary to plan, I will be doing classic LST after all. The reason for this is that according to FastBuds, the Super Boof can grow up to 1.50 meters tall, which in a 1.80 meter tent would inevitably mean that at least the main bloom would be dangerously close to the light. One of the Super Boofs is acting up a bit, but I suspect this is more due to genetic bad luck since it’s growing under the same conditions and the EC as well as pH and everything else is nearly optimal.

BudsPerMinute Week 4 All plants are showing satisfactory progress, even the Super Boof with its deformed leaves. The Euforia from Dutch Passion stands out the most; it's really going full throttle!

BudsPerMinute Week 5 Last week went almost perfectly! This week, the goal is to complete the LST shape with the start of the stretch and to selectively remove a shoot or two. Unfortunately, with one Super Boof, the main shoot got torn, and with another Super Boof, a side shoot broke off. The torn shoot has healed by now... Well, that's how it goes with LST; the plants will definitely survive!

BudsPerMinute Week 6 The plants are all in great shape, now it's time to bring the highest shoots to the same level as the others with very light LST and remove all the popcorn shoots. Every day I remove 3-7 fan leaves to ensure better ventilation, additionally, I will remove 1-2 shoots every 2-3 days, but this won't be extremely necessary since especially the Super Boofs have hardly formed any popcorn shoots.

BudsPerMinute Week 7 The Super Boofs are all in full bloom, one is already showing impressive resin production! The Euforia is taking its time, which is completely fine. This week is all about defoliation and light lollipopping in the lower third of the plants. One SuperBoof seems to have a potassium excess and is a bit over-fertilized, so it's getting a heavily reduced nutrient solution until everything stabilizes!

BudsPerMinute Week 8 As it turns out, when mixing nutrients, especially when using Silica, you should pay attention to a certain order, otherwise certain substances like phosphorus and calcium can "precipitate" or bind to salts that the plant cannot utilize. Learned something new again... I'm going to leave out RhinoSkin for now and make sure the plants get enough phosphorus to cover the slight phosphorus deficiency that's starting!

BudsPerMinute Week 9 The Super Boofs will soon be ready for harvest! The Euforia is taking its time, which is completely fine. The Euforia got another shot of grow nutrients since it’s still at the beginning of its flowering development, and I want to counteract the rather yellowing leaves. I think I've somewhat resolved my mistake with the silica, but I still suspect that I will have a loss in yield... The Euforia is growing slowly but steadily and isn't showing any real problems.

BudsPerMinute Week 9 The Super Boofs will be harvested throughout the week, while the Euforia doesn't have much time left. The Euforia will get more Bloom and more PK this week to counteract the deficiency.

BudsPerMinute 10 weeks have already passed... It was another educational grow since I changed something in my nutrient schedule for the first time! The strain is great, I can't say more yet.

BudsPerMinute Week 11 Not much to say, the Euforia is slowly getting thick buds, which is great. We don't need to talk about the leaf color; it's far from ideal, BUT it will survive and also bring a good yield. I flushed with completely clear and pH-regulated water in the middle of week 11 to rule out salt build-up, which probably would have been smart a few weeks earlier.

BudsPerMinute Week 12 The Euforia is slowly but surely gaining mass, so the rinsing with rainwater might have helped. When I water next time, I'll add bloom nutrients again so it doesn't starve even more!

BudsPerMinute Week 13 The Euforia seems to be doing better again; the buds are quite good compared to the overall appearance of the plant, and the trichomes are still mostly clear. The flushing with rainwater has probably saved the plant since the leaves are hardly getting any worse.

BudsPerMinute Week 14 At the beginning of the week, I gave her a bit more water, but she's pretty much ready to harvest. It's really fascinating how much mass the plant has built up.

BudsPerMinute Week 14 was harvested... What a rollercoaster... from the start, it was the strongest plant in the tent, but this very long phenotype caught me completely off guard. I stopped the grow nutrients too early and also mixed the nutrients in the wrong order (added silicate nutrients after CalMag and Co). AND YET, it survived and built up a decent mass without herming! What a great genetics! Unfortunately, I will only keep the main buds and destroy the rest to keep everything compliant 💪
