Highly recommended, cheap insurance when investing all this time into a project. Why not use it? Does it make a plant healthy...yes, higher potential yield?....yes, sounds great to me.
Watched youtuber "FromSeedtoStoned" and he used this product with autos and did well with it. Great channel to watch with a lot of great knowledge. Product worked flawlessly at my levels. Great results I could actually increase the dosage a bit which only means one thing....more yield.😄
Scotty,....man this shit works!!!! Thank you DGC!!

I was familiar with cannabis, having being introduced to the grow when I was around 7 years old. My dad (god rest his soul) had me help him when I was young, I remember the hidden grow room in the pump house for the indoor grow, the outdoor grows in a blackberry brier, haha even next to my Mom's tomato's in the garden! So I knew they liked a routine, and a green thumb. The seed company I just researched them, they were local to me and had very positive reviews. I know genetics are very important and they seemed to have a good grasp on the product. The grow initially started as a cheap outdoor grow, wanted to do it all natural at first. I knew in the end regardless for drying I had to have a tent with a carbon filter, I have two teen age daughters that in this moment of time I don't want the questions. So with that being said, as I started to build the tent in preparation I just decided to keep buying researched and thought out pieces for my build. I stayed humble with a 3x3x6 vivosun tent. I have two 6" vivosun fans with ducting for a passive intake if need be. I ran this tent in a passive intake which ultimatley worked best for me. I have two 6" vivosun fans for circulation in the tent. Used the exhale bag (worked perfect!!) for CO2. The light no question was going to be HLG. These guys rock, well engineered product and I was happy to get the rspec for the grow. The light is perfect for a 3x3! I ran this turned down just a skeech to 450 watts. At full tilt the light was just too much and she would get max DLI in 16 hours instead of 18 (she was on a 18/6 light schedule). Controlling the environment was a must for the tent, and this is the biggest hassle of all. I fought the intake and quickly learned that passive is the best for me. I used "pulse" to monitor the inside, cool device and data is easily an app on your phone, I highly recommend them. Inkbird worked the exhaust fan/temp and allowed me to monitior the RH% in the garage. I also used them to operate the humidifier and dehumidifier. All in all it was fun, and a lot longer than expected... She grew great, surprised me with the bud density and thank goodness I caught the budrot early. I think the smoke turned out great. The bud has a very distinct pine, citrus dank smell in a jar. Make this an air freshener! I tried some after 4 days of curing and man.......I was blown away. My fiance and I smoke about an 1/8th between us weekly. We are very accustomed to top shelf bud, and we are lucky to have a grower/dispenser very close to us. They are strictly medical and not available to the public. Needless to say I am comparing my grow to them and I am on par if not slightly better then their super lemon haze. The separating difference to where they have an edge is the bud density imop. Mine is a little more airy and theirs is more dense, and I like that. But hey,.....my first time I thought for sure I was going to screw up on the grow, the drying, even the cure. I would admit I overthink a lot and that probably made things worse, but in the end this smoke came out great. Two good tokes off a bong, nice chocolate, diesel, piney flavor........exactly what I wanted, and now I have 7 ounces and two more growing at week 6 as of right now. Thanks to all of those that chimed in during the diary I really appreciate it. This is a great site and a must for keeping track. Peace

Grow Questions

Autoflowers are new to me and I’m just not sure if I am 100% on board with their ability to “autoflower” even under a 18/6 light schedule. I’m debating if I should flip her to 12/12 starting today. I think she needs some persuasion. What do you think? Thanks

Autos grow and flower regardless of light schedule. My Gorilla went 15 weeks from start of germination. Reducing the hours would only shorten the available light available and the light is the "food' that plant uses to grow, the nutrients help the plant metabolize the light into growth. 6hrs darkness is sort of the sweet spot for plant rest. Your diary says this is an indoor grow but your plants are outside in the pix. If your moving your plant in and out of the tent that can slow the plant down. Growers choice seeds are slower than many other auto strains. Your plant looks healthy and on its way to making good big buds. Patience and consistency is a key ingredient.

@ArborFarms, I would just so it can get sufficient light, which will help with your yield at harvest !

@Mr_Weeds_Autos, thanks man. First grow outdoors and she’s looking really healthy. Debating on bringing her indoors though, over here at the beach we get overcast skies during May and June robbing me of those precious photons.

@Weird_Jimmy, yeah man I’m stoked! Every morning when I open the tent up it’s like Christmas. They grow so much at night it’s amazing! You have anything new coming up in the tent? I’m thinking of doing a photo next

The plant is looking nice, short and bushy. The only critique I can offer is to the strength of your nutrient solution. It's probably in the range from the GHE mix schedule, but in the high range. I shoot for the low end of the target range for EC for nutrient solution strength. I also measure my runoff at each watering. I aim to get 10-30% run off. I also do it 2 or more times a day. If the runoff gets to be over 300ec of the EC of the feed solution, I either flush with extra pH plain water or dilute the feed water till it's back in range or below. High EC runoff indicates nutrient build up in coco and also that the coco is out of range for optimum nutrient absorption. It can cause nutrient toxicity or lockout. If the EC is below target it means your plants are absorbing lots of nutrients. My method isn't common but can produce massive plants. For more details on my methods search for "Coco for cannabis". It's fairly laborious, and I wouldn't recommend it if u have more than one plant, don't have time or take good notes. I am working on making an automated system for when I go on vacation and such.

@ArborFarms,not saying that it is actually too high...just that what listed in the stats at 1.59ec is high to me. Just cautionary ...but that's based on how I'm doing it...you seem to have a fairly detailed approach and thought out approach...and there are seemingly hundreds of ways to do this with lots of variables...so your plants look happy and as long as the plant is happy I'm sure you'll be happy!

@Weird_Jimmy, my feed schedule is half that of what the Nute manufacturer recommends. I’m using ppm targets that medman over at afn network recommends for autos. Are you saying that my Nute load is to high as in ppm’s? Thanks

@CRiSPrGrow, thanks for the reply. I’m aware that she is in flower lol, my question was in regards to the slow growth of the buds. Imop she just isn’t putting on the growth when I compare her to other diaries. If you were to go back thru my diary you’ll see that I am using pulse and inkbird to monitor and maintain temp and rh levels. I am very aware of vpd (thousands of charts online) and I use pulse’s vpd chart. My daily temps are in the range of 82 and rh averages in the 60’s, my vpd averages 1.2. I’m not concerned with my environment just questioning the genetics, especially when I ask GCS if they are the “breeder” and I don’t get a definitive answer. Thanks for chiming in though
