Splashy I've just started documenting it, wasn't sure if I should do it or not. I set up the Greenhouse Feeding with Bioline for the first time and want to test if I can handle it. The constant mixing of the BioBizz bottles really annoyed me after over a year, and I wanted to see if there's something simpler. Yes, there's Living Soil, but dealing with compost teas and clover, etc., is a bit too annoying for me, so I came to "keep it simple." I got the seeds at Mary Jane in Berlin 2025 and wanted to take the opportunity to test the Greenhouse Feeding right away. I had the last 2 grows running with Automatics, and now I want to set up a Photo in one tent again, done and dusted. I let them germinate in my homemade Jiffys made from tea bags filled with BB Light mix, just added tap water and let them germinate in a small greenhouse box with little LEDs in the lid. After that, I put them in 1L pots and left them there until the leaves grew over the edge of the pot, watering only with Calmag and silicon. Then they went into the 11L pot with the All Mix from BB, and that's where they are now. I mixed 4g/L substrate into the 11L. Two weeks before I sent them into flowering, I added 5g/L Bloom substrate and 1g/L water from the enhancer in the watering water, and that every 14 days as per the instructions for the enhancer.

Splashy She seems to be having some problems. I was told on Discord that she has a calcium deficiency. I exchanged some messages with Chat GPT, and it said that I shouldn't give the sillic rock with the enhancer, as they are supposed to react with each other and cause a blockage. So, every time I give the enhancer (every 14 days), I should leave out the sillic rock. Also, 0.5ml of the sillic rock should be enough. My pH of 6.1 should also rise a bit again if I only give 0.5ml/l of sillic rock. Moreover, Chat GPT also says that my calmag (34.5mg/l cal and 16mg/l mag) values for soil in tap water are sufficient, and I don't need to add anything else. Furthermore, I should now balance it out by working with 0.8ml/l of BioBizz Grow and 0.4ml/l of BioBizz Bloom to counteract the deficiency. I still have both here and will give it a try tomorrow. It shouldn't be given with every watering, but then wait to see how the leaves develop.

Splashy After I was told about calcium and magnesium deficiency in Discord, I sent the pictures to Chat GPT and explained my entire approach so far. He mentioned that a blockage has occurred because I added the sillic Rock to the greenhouse enhancer. This reacted with each other and messed up the soil samples. I didn't know that these two things react together; now I'm wiser and won't mix them anymore, instead, I'll skip the sillic Rock when using the enhancer. After a few days, I can add sillic Rock again. Due to the blockage, calmag, nitrogen, and potassium were blocked. I'm counteracting this blockage with Grow and Bloom from BioBizz. Calcium and magnesium should be sufficiently present in my water for growing in soil, and I should only add them when symptoms appear. According to the calmag calculator, I have a bit too little, but Chat GPT says that the soil can compensate for this, especially with the greenhouse feeding fertilizer. I was able to raise the pH value from 6.1 to 6.4 by only adding half (0.5ml/l) of the sillic Rock. Additionally, today was the long-awaited defoliation and lollipopping; I hope it wasn't too much stress for her. I've already found 1-2 pollen sacs that I carefully removed. In the saucer, it looks like one has already opened because there was a small pile of white powder. Since I only have airflow above the plant, I hope the pollen hasn't spread. Now it's time to keep my fingers crossed. When the pot has lost weight again, the enhancer will be back in action. I hope everything settles down again. I only got a test seed of this strain on Mary Jane, and it would be a shame if it goes wrong now. But I'm optimistic that she will bounce back.

Splashy According to the tips from Chat GPT, she's doing better, but she's still struggling. I think I'll skip the silica rock from now on if it reacts well with the nutrients and the enhancer. I'm trying to perk her up again and hope I can finish this run. I found another 2-3 pollen sacs on the plant, so I'm checking her every day and paying close attention. I'm also not sure how to proceed with the calcium and magnesium. According to the calmag calculator, I should add a minimal amount to the watering, but Chat GPT says I don't need to add anything if I'm growing in soil... I think I'll keep adding it since I can see the deficiencies. For my other grow, I'll skip the silica this time and also not add any calmag, so I can figure out if it was all about the silica or if I need to add something.

Splashy She looks more beautiful every day, but I think it will still take about 2-3 weeks until she's ripe. I've stopped giving the silicon because I believe it reacts with the remaining nutrients in the soil. Now it's just a matter of being patient.

Splashy Now the flowers and leaves are getting more and more purple, I really like the color play of this strain. The buds are really gaining mass now, you can almost see it with the naked eye every day. It's slowly heading into the final stretch, I don't have to wait much longer.

Splashy The leaves are starting to curl up and get really crispy, autumn is approaching. I gave the bio enhancer again today and think it will be harvested in 1 week. You can also see quite well that the trichomes are slowly turning milky, and I have to check daily from now on to see if it's time. The countdown is on...

Splashy The trichomes are almost milky and a few are starting to turn amber. That tells me it's almost time. I'll only be giving water with calmag now; she should pull the last nutrients from the substrate. I think the next photo will be the harvest, which I will post.

Splashy Today I decided to harvest them. I removed the unnecessary large leaves and found some brown spots exactly where the leaf stems were. I examined them multiple times and even took pictures with a microscope, but I couldn't see anything serious aside from the color. When I tried to pull out the brown leaves, I couldn't get them out. So, I assume it's just brown discoloration of the leaves at the bloom stage, which isn't that unusual in week 10. I also posted the pictures in a Discord and got reassurance as long as the brown spots can't be easily pulled off. Deep inside the buds, I couldn't see anything brown either. According to Chat GPT, it should be tissue that has prematurely ripened due to the plant sap leaking from the leaves and not mold. I'll keep an eye on it while drying to see if it spreads or if the spots start to smell musty or become soft and mushy. Now it's hanging upside down and drying for as long as it needs. Just a little update, I ended up cutting off and disposing of the affected buds. The risk of everything going moldy because of that is just too high for me.
