Grow_for_Happiness Planted on October 22nd directly in soil, pushed through four days later and now have their first set of leaves started. Humidity domes to start but taken off today.

Grow_for_Happiness Week one in the books. Looking quite healthy with nice coloured leaves and the biggest in the tent so far. As usual performing like a beast. Lights up to 80% giving 500 umol/s by end of week. Raised power every two days.

Grow_for_Happiness Moved to big tent at end of week and hooked up to autopot system with airdomes switched on. We're dry and slightly droopy, by morning nice and perky as seen in last photo. Nice dark colour good structure and healthy looking plants.

Grow_for_Happiness Both girls are doing great and looking almost like twins! Only 1" difference in height and nice lush dark leaves. Getting around 500-520 umol/s, being between the two lights it's a bit less than the other plants but they seem content. More than doubled in height this week and don't look too stretched out so can't complain! Although I may keep an eye open for a single bar supplemental light to help even out the light spread down the road. No training yet, and have only removed the two lowest sets of leaves from the main stalk. Raised the lights to 18" at end of week and increased to 80% to try and help raise the PPFD in the middle of the tent.

Grow_for_Happiness Got a light defoliation in and some leaf tucking on first day of week but otherwise hands off due to having bad flu. Lights got a bit close near end of week, and humidity was higher than ideal 67-68 for a few days. Once realized I added a 10" fan to the floor blowing lengthwise which fixed the humidity, and raised the lights back to 20". Seems to be the happy place for them at 80% at the stage of growth. Was noticing sad leaves at beginning/end of day, but once lights raised seems to be resolved

Grow_for_Happiness Second week of flower is done and. These girls are already starting to show some colour! Front plant has some deep purple starting on leaves near bud sites. If I remember the "Halloween" slimer I grew a year ago started off this way, and she was a beautiful varient of the strain. Growth slowed slightly this week but are now seeing the bud sites popping everywhere! Love growing this strain.
Had some inter canopy humidity pockets, so MacGyvered an air intake diffuser out of a drainage pipe and a 4" intake fan. Runs the whole length of the tent and it working extremely well, injecting fresh air directly into the canopy rather than relying on the passive air intakes of the tent. Exhaust fans are now running much more steady at 30-40% where before where cycling 30-60%. Intake idles at 30% and increases with the exhaust fan.

Grow_for_Happiness Well these girls are coming along great. Colours continue to develop and buds are starting to form. Noticed was only getting around 500-550 umol/s so moved both lights 2" closer to center and that bumped it up to 620-650 so it's more in my usual range. Would be great to pick up a light for a 2x4 area and hang it in the middle so that I could run the plants edge to edge in the tent. As it is they're all getting what they should, just had to move them a few inches closer to center as well. Still lots of space and airflow thanks to last week's upgrades so happy with that. Hoping for a good week ahead, fingers crossed!

Grow_for_Happiness Not to sound like a broken record, but the girls are looking great and it's been a mostly hands free week. Started using Plagron nutrients Green Rush after winning some of their nutrients from October diary of the month, and so far so good. It's supposed to help increase yield by 30-60%, but I may have started it a week too late. It's in the reservoir anyways and the other strains are booming right now. Says start at week 4 flower, but that's photoperiod so I'm thinking week 2 flower with autos is probably better with the shorter/faster flowering period and all. These girls do seem the furthest along in the tent, and they have some nice dark colours coming on on the sugar leaves, and the trichomes are starting to pack on already, and still around 4 weeks to go. Looking forward to enjoying her already, have been out of slimer bud for a few months now and I really do miss it.
One of my top, if not my top favorite strain, after 27 years of partaking.

Grow_for_Happiness Great week, very little to do just keeping the res filled and watching the buds continue to swell. She's looking on track to finish at 11 weeks, very similar to both previous grows. Buds are starting to pack on the trichomes pretty hard and the front plant has gotten the darker genetic while the. Ack seems to be the lighter one. Cut out the B52 because I ran out and honestly she seems to block up the lines pretty hard, and I'm flushing then weekly. That's ok, once the bud candy runs out at end of week I have another booster I can use from Nutes Nutrients to replace both from Advanced Nutrients. Light varying from 600-750 umol/s. Ideally next grow I'll get a 2x4 bar light to out between the photo trk and mars hydro to fill in the tent properly.

Grow_for_Happiness These girls just keep looking better and better, and seem to be right on track with the last two slimer grows. Which means I better busy out the magnifier this week and check the trichomes, because they're normally done by week 10 to 11! I'm guessing two weeks still but hey we will see. Trichome packed and looking gorgeous, can't wait to refill my favorite smoke.

Grow_for_Happiness Well I forgot to update the diary on Tuesday, so I'm doing it a few days late on Saturday instead.
Girls are doing fantastic, just glistening with trichomes and the front one has a nice dark purple colour to her. Going to start flushing these girls any day, haven't taken a look at trichomes yet but I bet they're only a week or so to go. Buds are very dense, even with a good squeeze they barely move, if at all. Might be some of the larger buds I've gotten from this strain, but hard to tell until dried.
The more I grow this strain the more I enjoy it. Very low maintenance, big beautiful buds, and seemingly two distinct looks to her. I'm pretty happy to get one of the dark and one of the light pheno this time around. As mentioned big solid buds, and zero support or training required along the way aside from some very light leaf tucking on week three of veg.

Grow_for_Happiness Well it's here, day 84 from seed, the end of another great Slimer run. Big, dense, beautiful buds with such a sweet aroma they make me flash back to smoking it every time. Was such a good easy run, with no support despite the big buds, and only leaf tucking in week three. Thinking it will be one of my higher yielding runs of her. Can't wait to get her dried and cured then back in rotation for smoking enjoyment.
