Well, because of dry soil every 2nd day. Therefore we watering "our baby" every two days with round about 3l/plant. Do you think it's to much?

tell me the truth, have you loved your baby so much that you fell to the sin of overwatering her? 😘

@Sundancers, susrprisingly, in my huge 70 liter pot even 0.5 liters more than the usual 2L can be toxic and have very long-lasting negative effects, especially if the plant had already been kept overwatered for several days. The texture of my soil also starts to look terrible, which suffocates the roots, hence the plants get weak and all hell breaks when they are defencelessly weak... Overwatering is so underestimated! 😳 and medicating with more fertilizers is just stupid torturing. 😰 Do you use many ferts in your soil, hydroponic ferts? Do you dilute powder in water and pour it onto your mix to give most minerals for the plants? Do most of your minerals come from soil or from mineral ferts? Whats that Zamnezia you are using?

why are you watering them with 6.6 pH? Do you prepare your water, or just take it from a tap? What is your substrate's pH?

@Sundancers, what do you think could happen if you switched to 6.1pH? Why 5.5? I've always heard that 6.1 is good for soil, but you have a semi-hydro setup and maybe that's why your pH is different from mine. I saw their info about their soil, but IMO it looks like simple peat, because it is so brown. And peat, yeah, peat is usually more acid, isn't it? PS dude, your water is not hard because hard is about PPM, right?? I guess you wanted to say alcaline in pH, right?

I can see you have a mechanical humidity meter. is it reliable? Any problems with this device? PS I am just trying to go without batteries cause they always die when you don't expect, and the device dies with them, and becomes useless for a couple weeks until I find that damn battery.

@HumanCompanion We have two humidity meter, one mechanic and one digital. Both show nearly the same data. It looks more retro with an mechanical humidity meter and i don't need glasses to see the humidity value 😆

@Sundancers, I remember that I had a mechanical timer in the past, and it was quite good. I guess they are safer thanks to no batteries! i wish my TDS meter didn't use any battery... It died exactly after I watered my gentle seedling with hydroponic solution, and I had suspisions that the water was really high PPM. Oh, and those paper stripes are terrible for pH tests. I guess you and your glasses understand me. Thanks and have a good day!
