Thomas86 Placed 3 Seeds in a glass of tapwater for 36 hours and got 3 out of 3 with small taproots, Transferred them to 500g solo cups with coco/perlite and started watering till runoff once or twice a day with PH 5.8, EC 1.3 nutes solution with Calmag Canna Coco A and B and Rhizotonic using Cannas grow schedule online, My tap water comes out @ Ec of 0.2 so I bring it up to 0.4 with Biobizz Calmag and add Canna nutes to bring it to 1.3 for the first week, This is the schedule I use to show me quantities. https://www.canna-uk.com/growguide

Thomas86 Off to a good start with the first week seedlings, blasting them with 100% light from about 60 cm away with the mars hydro TS1000 still going strong on its 3rd auto run. PH is kept @ 5.8 and EC @1.3, Letting the roots get established a bit better in the solo cups for a few more days with watering to runoff with runoff EC climbing to around PH 6.0

Thomas86 Have the EC up to 1.5 this week with PH about 5.7, runoff PH was creeping to about 6 So I adjusted slightly down, By the end of the week I transplanted into autopots sitting in temporary buckets to allow runoff for a few days before their final home in the trays when the leaves hit the edges, Pumping runoff water into a separate container with a handy little manual pump works good for me to minimize moving the pots around. so far so good, buried the one on the left a little too deep but seems to be doing good so far. Added Cannazyme to the Nute schedule this week.😁

Thomas86 Put the pots in the final trays, the hard part hand watering is done, Got the airdomes turned on pumping 1L/min from a boyu air pump during lights on. Day 17 since seedlings broke thru coco. Messed up counting m days lol but its Day 21, plants were slow growing for a few days but have vigorous growth again, had to increase air flow to airdome, keeping ph in res between 5.5 and 5.8, Ec @ 1.8, very slight tip burn from pushing the Ec so I wont increase just yet, So far so good😀

Thomas86 Plants are doing good, hoping for a bit of a stretch for this last week of veg, I gently tied them over at the start of the week to expose more bud sites, maybe a bit late, So far they're quite bushy but I'm not planning on cutting anything off this grow or using a scrog net like previous plants, doing my best to keep the stress low, the temperatures and humidity have been great so far for this grow after battling a heatwave in the summer made keeping the tent difficult to cool. Havn't changed EC this week and letting PH Drift from 5.5 to 5.8 in the reservoir. Re calibrated my Apera EC/PH pen last week after noticing it was off a little. plants are drinking at a steady pace but not yet guzzling the water from the tank, got slight tip burn on new growth that seems to grow out as the leaves get bigger and slight bleaching of upper leaves il keep an eye on, possibly Light burn or Getting used to the higher EC.

Good luck on that grow mate. Autopots definately something i am looking into for future projects (but only for watering purposes since i am biological fan).

Just calibrated my Apera EC/PH meter after seeing someone elses grow here go south and it was off by .3 ph and ec was showing as 1.0 higher, Calibrate those pens if ya havn't in a while, I was Phing these too low unknowingly, thankfully I caught it in time😀 Rez and Trays are super clean this grow with no biofilm since I stopped using biobizz citrus based ph down and switched to growth technology phosphorus based ph down, I also dont use a pump or wavemaker in the rez just use my cordless drill with a stirring attachment to move things around daily.
