JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow.
A week ago, the seeds went into the peat pots. After 3 days, all the seeds had germinated and were ready to be planted into the final pots. The little plants look happy and are growing diligently.
The substrate is a mix of 60% BIOCANNA Terra Plus and 40% Toom clay pebbles. The soil was pre-treated with 5g/L Greenhouse Feeding Biogrow, 5g/L Biotabs Siliciumflash, 5g/L Neudorff Soil Activator, and 5g/L Dehner Worm Humus. I added some Biotabs Mycotrex to the planting hole.
Watering is done with tap water and 4ml/L BIOCANNA Rhizotonic.
About the genetics:
Strawberry Lobster (Cipher Genetics x Maine Trees)
Genetics: Strawberry Cough x Blue Lobster.
I'm hoping for candy terps with a fruity strawberry twist. The last grow was very promising, so it's back in the tent.
Lobzter (Cipher Genetics x Maine Trees)
Genetics: Zangria x Blue Lobster. (Zangria = Thin Mint Cookies x The Original Z/“Zkittlez”)
I'm hoping for sweet grapes and candy terpenes with a hint of gas. It would be cool if Zkittlez comes through a bit too.
I became aware of this genetics because it took 2nd place in a Spanish cup.
See you next week :)

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
The ladies get 1.5L of tap water with a bit of BioRhizotonic 4ml/L every 4-6 days. (Nematodes are also a must against fungus gnats)
They look very happy and are noticeably growing every day.
I topped the Strawberry Lobster. In hindsight, I could have waited another 1-2 days, as the leaf pairs weren't fully developed yet. She'll still handle it very well. I usually wait until 2 side branch pairs have small leaves. This way, they handle the topping very well and continue to grow right away.
Wishing you a great weekend!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
A bit delayed on the update, but the pictures are from Thursday.
This week there was a problem. I had a real fungus gnat infestation. When I opened the tent, 20-30 flew out at me. I've never seen anything like it. It probably comes from the way the soil was stored. The soil was opened and stored in the basement with open windows... Especially at such an early stage, this is really annoying. The larvae attack the young root system. By now, the nematodes are showing their effect and there are fewer and fewer.
Lobzter was topped and received LST. She's the smallest in the tent and is lagging a bit behind, especially compared to her big sister.
Both ladies are getting tap water with Rhizotonic 4 ml/L and plenty of nematodes.
Have a nice weekend!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow.
The ladies were sent into flowering last week. They are currently stretching and going full throttle.
To kick off the flowering, the Strawberry Lobster got a top dress of BioBloom at 5g/L. For the Lobzter, I used Toom Bio Tomato Fertilizer at 5g/L as a top dress. Everything was watered with 10ml/L of PK Booster from Bio Tabs, BioBoost, and BioRhizotonic at 4ml/L.
The fungus gnat plague is under control thanks to the nematodes.
Now the exciting phase begins :D
Have a great weekend!

As expected, the ladies are taking off like a rocket! It took a week for the SCROG to fill up. Now they can grow up relaxed.
The AutoPot system has also been connected. The tank is filled with tap water and a bit of Canna CalMag.
Wishing you all a nice weekend!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
The ladies have shot up unstoppable.
Both were properly lollipopped. I found individual small pollen sacs at the bottom of both (a total of 3). The Strawberry Lobster had this last grow (after removing them, no new ones appeared), so I just removed those parts. Of course, I check very carefully every day for more sacs.
Watering was done with the AutoPot system and a bit of Canna CalMag.
Have a nice weekend!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
The stretch is slowly coming to an end.
The buds are getting thicker and a fruity scent is spreading in the tent.
Unfortunately, the Lobzter has formed even more pollen sacs in the lower third. A total of about 6. That really sucks. I will keep an eye on it, but if the hermaphroditism doesn't stop (like with the Strawberry Lobster), I'll have to take it out of the tent.
Watering was done with tap water through the AutoPot system.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow.
The AutoPot system has taken good care of the two over the Christmas period.
They both smell really strong.
Strawberry Lobster has a strong scent of gum and fruit. Really very sweet and so far the stinkiest in the tent! I'm super excited about the result.
The Lobzter smells like ginger: spicy, fruity, and a bit earthy. It's like cutting into a fresh ginger root. Unfortunately, it has suffered the most bud bleaching since the 3rd week of flowering. Still, beautiful big buds are developing.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas time with your loved ones. Have a great weekend!

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my indoor grow.
The ladies have slid nicely into the new year. Both look vibrant and the buds are swelling more and more. As a little New Year booster, I gave them some Bio PK 5-8 from Bio Tabs at 10ml/L and as a top dress, 2 g/L of organic tomato fertilizer from Toom. Now there are plenty of nutrients available for the coming weeks.
To prevent bud rot, I have 2 circulating fans (Cloudray S6 Gen 2) running at full speed and I'm trying to keep the humidity below 50%. I'm also removing any large leaves to maximize airflow. Hopefully, there won't be any nasty surprises this time...
The Strawberry Lobster is the loudest in the tent with a super interesting strawberry jam aroma upfront. In the background, there's a hint of menthol/mint coming through. So far, it's my absolute favorite.
The Lobzter has a pretty strong alcohol note with fruit. So Sangria fits as well. It's super sticky and very frosty. I'm glad I kept it, despite the initial hermaphroditism. Knock on wood.
Wishing you a great start to the new year!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
A relaxed week is coming to an end. There wasn't much to do except remove a few leaves and fill the tank with water and some CalMg.
The ladies are in the middle of stacking, and the Strawberry Lobster is really swelling up.
The Lobzter is starting to smell like cabbage. I hope that scent doesn't stick around. It smelled way better a few weeks ago. It's still exciting.
See you next week!

There's not much to report. The buds are still a bit swollen, but I think the phase is coming to an end. The trichomes are all milky. I'm now waiting for 10% brown trichomes, then it's harvest time. I think another 1-2 weeks.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

I don't have anything new to report. The tank is being filled with water and some Cal MG is ready.
Hope it continues to run smoothly.
Harvesting next week :)
Wishing you all a nice weekend!
Dried at 19 degrees and 55% humidity in DryFerm Bags.
What an awesome genetic variety. Taste 5/5; the strawberry really comes through with the vaporizer. Super delicious fruity/floral with strawberry in the foreground. Taste-wise, the best I've had so far! Effect 4/4: I harvested it at 5% amber and the rest milky. Accordingly, there was a very clear head high with a lot of laughter and good vibes, but you weren't overly excited or restless, just relaxed. One of the best high feelings of all strains. Appearance 1/1: Super cool appearance. Pictures to follow…

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
Best plant so far. I can definitely recommend it to everyone! It's definitely going back in the tent. Grows very quickly and stably and is one of the most productive ladies.
Dried in DryFerm Bags at 19 degrees and 55% humidity. Really awesome genetics! Taste 5/5; it tastes very much like red berries and flowers in the vapor. There's also a menthol note. In fact, the taste reminded me of sangria. Effect 4/4; the effect was very similar to the Strawberry Lobster. Strong head high with lots of laughter. Towards the end, a pleasant indica high came through as well. Appearance 1/1; small buds but they sparkled so much. Even the fan leaves were covered in trichomes. Flower pictures to follow…

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
The Lobzter is a really great strain. It definitely works well for washing too. Under stress (for me, it was too much light at the beginning), it hermied, but after the light was adjusted, no new sacs appeared. I can recommend this strain and it will definitely be back in the tent!
Good luck with this run, Growmie. Two ladies are probably the better decision due to the lack of airflow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, buddy. My Strawb. Lobster is a dream. Structure and stretch are perfect. It also looks like a yield monster. The day after tomorrow, there will be an update from flowering day 14. All the best with your ladies!
I was very tempted to buy one of the Lobster crosses, but in the end I couldn’t justify buying them 🤷♂️🤦♂️ I’ve got too many unopened packs yet to run.
Looks super. Mega colors, great trichome formation. Tasty ;) I'm going to do the blue lobster soon. When I see yours, I'm even more excited about it...
After a proper cure, I still stand by my opinion that this is the tastiest genetics I've had in my garden. Even though it wasn't the frostiest or the prettiest, it surpassed everything else by a long shot. The strawberry with that strange anise note is unique. I can also find it hard to describe the anise with your minty description, but it's definitely something special. Strawberry Lobster is like a luxury 7-star menu or, for wine lovers, an incredibly expensive, aged drop. I'm so glad to still have one seed left. Unfortunately, it's sold out everywhere, but I'm seriously considering securing some clones next time.
@Stony_German, I totally agree with you! I think both Lobsters are super tasty. I'm really a big fan of the crosses. Pars Planet recently had a restock of all the Blue Lobster genetics. With a bit of luck, that wasn't the last one :) That's why I snagged the Black Lobster on sale.
@GanjaGecko, thanks bro! Yeah, you can really look forward to it! It was the first time I tasted a specific fruit. So the description of the strain is spot on 😋
Very nice phenos. I'm also very satisfied with the taste and potency of the Strawb. Lobster. The yield was phenomenal. The sweetness is becoming clearer after 14 days in the Grovebags. Anise is still dominant though. Good luck, hope this time the mold stays away. Airflow airflow and more airflow.😉
Kohl 😆 Oh man, sorry but I found that so funny. Still better than sauerkraut 😂. I can relate. I had a Mimosa x Orange Punch that smelled like an old man. Like you’re burying your head in Grandpa's T-shirt 😆😁. In the end, the gassy terps always get stronger, so let's hope for that.
@Stony_German, Haha, yeah I was a bit confused by the smell too. All the others smell so deliciously sweet and fruity, and then when it was Lobzter's turn... I just thought: Eww, what is that? It smells like the neighbors are cooking cabbage 😪 Well, I think it will get a nice twist, at least during the curing. Grandpa's T-shirt also sounds godless 😂 There are people who hunt for such scents... Not my world 😌
