Danylo [DISCLAIMER]: For this run I decided to almost completely reuse the substrate from my last run, because I want to try and save a little time and money. My fertilization method works for inert media, so in the grand scheme of things it should be possible. Anyways... this adds some unknown variables so while I give my best to ensure proper nutrition to the plants in each stage - it may very well be the case that there will be some visible deficiencies or even the whole plant underperforming somewhat. If this happens please do not attribute these shortcomings to the strain/breeder.. If someone will be to blame, it is me! 8)
I wanted to grow a more traditional Skunk strain for nostalgia reasons for some time now... luckily I got a new active carbon filter recently so I thought : "Now is the time!".
The seed was started using a 1% H2O2 soak for 18h and then planted directly into low nutrient soil. (I used fresh soil for this step, because the old substrate was very likely too high in salt content) All three of the seeds (the other two were one "Lemon Z" and one "CBD Mazar") grew out of the soil very quickly and eerily simultaneously! 😊

Danylo They all grew vigorously, so in this week I was already able to transfer them to the next pot-size up (0.5L - 3.5L)
The Skunk visibly expressed more narrow leaf characteristics than the others. (Seed was the smallest of the three too, which is to be expected for a sativa leaning strain)
Plant size, root development etc. all on target for the 2nd week. I was giving her about 400 PPFD as soon as the first 5 finger leaf was developed.

Danylo She seems happy with her new pot!
The main training method I use has the goal to create strong branch growth directly from the start. To facilitate this (at this stage) I remove basically all fan-leafs that grow on the main stem, as soon as they prevent direct light reaching the lateral branches. This makes the plant look a little pitiful at times, but they recover very quickly and (combined with high light-intensity) grow very bushy!

Danylo Lots happened this week!
She had already rooted through the 3.5L pot at the start of this week, so I transplanted her (and the others) into her final 20L pot.
I also moved them into the bigger tent, because the small one was getting a little cramped.
After allowing for a few days of acclimatization, she was topped. At this point, she had developed enough internodes so that switch to 12/12 would be possible in the coming week.
Also did some defoliation of course!

Danylo Three main things this week:
1) Slowly reduced light hours from 18 to 12.
2) A whole lot of defoliation, mostly fan-leafs removed from the lateral branches and their branches.
3) Cleaned up lower 3rd, clones from cuttings.
Structure wise she ended up roughly where I want her. She is VERY branchy though so I probably have to go in again once or twice to facilitate airflow as well as prevent larf.
