Purple Kush

KuaerSchlaeger Week one. Small and nice. The root has reached the bottom at the drainage holes. I think a few more days and she can move into the big pot.

KuaerSchlaeger Not much has been happening this week. The little one has rooted through the 0.15l pot and has now been placed in her new home where she will stay until the end.

KuaerSchlaeger So far so good. She's growing and thriving, took the repotting well. She's looking healthy and strong. I'm curious to see what the sweetness will bring.

KuaerSchlaeger Grows and thrives. Has noticeably gained mass and the leaves are slowly becoming huge. About another week and then it will be chopped.

KuaerSchlaeger Today the little one was topped and a bit defoliated so that the new shoots can see some light 😅 In the coming days, I'll start with LST, and next week I think I'll switch to flowering.

KuaerSchlaeger The topping was handled really well, and the LST is being accepted without any fuss. Flowering was initiated 2 days ago, and the nutrients were slightly adjusted. Here we go 😁

KuaerSchlaeger Flowering was initiated a week ago, and the first signs of hairs are visible. In the last 5 days, it has stretched by 7cm and had a little haircut appointment 😅.

KuaerSchlaeger On to week 3. The transition took a bit longer, which I attribute to the temperatures since everything took longer than usual. Now the little hairs are finally here and the flowering is starting. Other than that, everything's cool and soon she'll be lollipopped.

KuaerSchlaeger Week 4 is in the bag. The flowering is now in full swing and the buds are getting hairier by the day. Four days ago, I gave the sweet girl a complete buzz cut and did some serious lollipopping 😅, which she handled like a champ and has visibly grown again. Her thirst has noticeably increased, so she's now getting 3 liters of water every 3 days. I'm raising the temperatures now, both day and night. Occasionally, I adjust the strings a bit to keep the branches nicely spaced out. Starting next week, I'll slowly introduce additional lighting from my two UV-B tubes.

KuaerSchlaeger The Purple Kush is feeling good. Did a little stretch again and it's putting a lot of power into the buds. Overall, it looks strong and healthy, and I'm curious to see if I can get it to turn purple. Starting Monday, I'll begin additional UV-B exposure for 20 minutes daily.

KuaerSchlaeger The Purple has started to really put its energy into the buds and trichomes this week. They're getting stronger and already shining a lot; I don't want to jinx it too early, but I think I can detect purple tones in the pointy tops, which would be absolutely genius. Waiting and hoping. With the UV-B exposure, we've reached 30 minutes daily.

KuaerSchlaeger The Purple Kush is showing stable and vigorous growth. It's slowly working on beautiful buds and is covered in a sparkling, sticky frosting. With an estimated 3 weeks to go, it's promising to produce some awesome flowers. The UV-B exposure is now at 50 minutes daily.

KuaerSchlaeger Die Purple Kush wird immer Harziger. Sie macht wunderschöne aber leider bislang recht kleine Buds, aber sie hat ja noch ein wenig Zeit. Mal schauen was am ende bei heraus kommt. Mit der UV-B Bestrahlung sind wir bei 65 Minuten angekommen und steigern es weiter nach und nach.

KuaerSchlaeger The Purple Kush is in the home stretch, the thirst has noticeably decreased, and unfortunately, the buds aren't really getting any bigger, but I'm still looking forward to purple flowers with some serious frosting. From now until the end, it's just pH-adjusted water. So the next one will also be the last update of this journey.

KuaerSchlaeger The Purple Kush also made it to being dry after a week at 52% RH and 18 degrees, but unfortunately, the buds are a bit small. It tastes incredibly good. Slightly floral with a solid kick of the typical Kush flavor. Due to the small buds, the yield is rather semi, but the color, taste, and effect make me overlook that 😋. Now it goes into the GroveBags for about 10 more weeks, and then it will be enjoyed. I had a blast going on this journey with you all again and hope you enjoyed it too, thank you so much everyone!!!
