Day 22 - She's doing okay! Had a minor PH issue the other day due to a cheap meter, which has been replaced. Her bottom first fan leaves are a tiny bit brown as a result. Her roots are clean and nice looking, thanks to the Hydroguard. She seems to be doing all around very well. Definitely have to check and adjust PH daily to keep her under control, however.
Day 26 - So I moved her to a new, non-visible home. Not because of any failure of the visible setup, but because at one gallon, it was just plain too small. She was going through water so quickly that I was having to redo her whole tank every two days. Was becoming too much maintenance. If I can put together a three gallon clear setup I will move her over to it. That is the plan at least. If not, she'll be a bucket girl. She's doing well and thriving, so everything is cool on that front.
@CRiSPrGrow, Weeeell there's no lack of flower sitting around but I'd like to clear out the grow room, sterilize it, and be able to take a couple weeks off before the next grow. Having said that, it's a new strain for me and I'd love to try her out.
@Philindicus, yeah I'm having a constant struggle between RH and Heat with the lights. Heat from the dehumidifier making more moisture in the air, causing higher humidty and more heat in a loop is going to require special venting for the dehumidifier soon I think. My bloom nutes are Maxibloom, which is 5-15-14 so I'm totally on board with your views on Macronutes.
As for Meph's recommendation, with several of my current grow, I tend to agree with them, at least with a couple plants, as I started bloom nutes as soon as pompoms were roundish, and one of the girls responded by having quite a bit of excess phosphorous. Pale tops and burned tips. The Zkittlez OG Auto from Barney's is doing that as we speak and I'm giving her a couple feeds of grow before working her back over to heavier phosphorous.
@Hexus, I've followed a few ghost toof grows it seems like they typically get pretty large and has some super nice ultra frosty bud structure.. I personally feel higher intensity light with the right color spectrum, less nitrogen more p/k, cooler temps helps give tighter buds. I have been having issues keeping my temps under 80F when using my bloom lights. I think she will stretch a bit when she starts blooming. I beleive mephisto reccomends using veg nutes a couple of weeks in the begining of bloom then switch to bloom nutes. It just seems like most of these bloom nutes have a lot of nitrogen in them. I guess they figure people don't mind leafy buds as long as they get more weight out of their grows. I'm more intrested in quality over quantity.
@Philindicus, She's REALLY dense and I'm hitting her with a hell of a lot of light. She has a 100w ChilLed Puck basically all to herself. It's far enough away not to burn or bleach her but not much farther, and her internodal space is kinda tiny. (Maybe a quarter inch between nodes? In the last 24 hours she's done a lot of sideways growth, however.
I'm tempted to raise the light up just a bit to get a tiny bit of stretch but at the same time, if she cam pack on the mass for flowering and stay smaller it might be to my benefit for this grow, because there are a lot of girls in there. :-D
This plant is the TRUTH! You
Absolutely made it the best that it could be and Iโm certain if you did research itโd be the biggest single plant yield. Major ups and this is why I follow you.
@Philindicus, Yeah will probably go for two harvests. Get all the big colas, give her another week or so, then Chop 2: Electric Boogaloo. Those colas are as wide as gallon jugs, btw.
