Green_claws The izi grow contest..
Really looking forward to this.
A Massive thanks to izi firstly for selecting me I will try my best to get the potential out of these
Grandpa Zombie beans..
Had them in a glass of water for about 40hrs and the root was showing on all 4 seeds so they went into a 1ltr pot with some seedling mixed soil, I'm sure they will be showing an appearance very soon.
Grandpa Zombie genetics fem
Indica/Sativa: Mostly Indica
Flowering: 9-11 weeks
Yields Indoor: 250-330 g/m²
Yields Outdoor: 100-250 g/plant
Height: 70-140 cm
Genotype: Grandpa’s Diesel x Zombie Kush
THC: Very High
Description
Grandpa Zombie genetics is a premium Indica-dominant hybrid created by crossing our signature Grandpa’s Diesel with the award-winning Zombie Kush from Ripper Seeds. This pairing produces dense, resin-rich buds with a strong structure and deeply relaxing properties. Its lineage combines classic Indica potency with modern stability and striking visual appeal.
Taste and effect
Grandpa Zombie delivers a smooth, sweet flavor enriched by earthy and herbal undertones. The aroma mirrors its taste; sweet, rich, and grounding. Effects begin gently, spreading through the body with long-lasting calm and full-body relaxation. Its tranquil vibe might even make you feel ready for a role in your favorite zombie show.
Growing
Grandpa’s Diesel thrives in cooler environments, as high temperatures can invite pests and pathogens into its dense foliage. To keep this Indica-dominant strain healthy, ensure a consistent flow of fresh air and lower the temperature during the end of its flowering stage to maintain its vibrant purple hues.
Thanks for checking this diary,,
Much love ✌️💚

Green_claws Welcome to week 1 veg.. So alot has happened in a week it's not just 1 thing to go wrong it's everything lol. Anyway need to march on. I have managed to dampen off 3 seeds my own fault and stupid mistakes so my logic is if this seed survived my assiination attempt then it is the 1.
Left in the water for too long especially floating on the top.
Leavea have a slight twist, not concerned at min she will out grow that.
Anyway Let's see what I can get out of her, theres going to be some love and attention going into this survivor..
Gave seaweed only atm

Green_claws Week 2 veg.
Everything is moving along nicely, growth is fast the new leaves arnt twisted or mutated like the previous sets, that was down to a little shock from the loaded soil.
Gave alfalfa+Aloevera tea.
***Midweek update***
Added 2 pics decided to top after 4th node.
Might keep all 8 or get rid of bottom 2. Either way there getting doubled again to 16 tops
The force is strong with this one..

Green_claws Week 3 veg.
The growth rate is accelerating. To open up the canopy for the lower branches, I've topped the plant and used wire to tuck the fan leaves. While the setup looks a bit "mad scientist" right now, it’s very practical. I currently have 8 established branches and intend to top them again to bring the total to 16.
Regarding nutrients, I applied an alfalfa tea with humic and fulvic acids. There is some slight tip burn on the new growth, though it's nothing to worry about yet. I also added the alfalfa pellet remains as a top-dress mulch.
Thanks for following along!

Green_claws Week 4 veg.
Another busy week in the books, but the results are worth it! I’m working with 16 tops right now, fueling them with a silica and seaweed schedule to build up that stalk strength and resilience. She’s looking sturdy and healthy—ready to be up-potted and flipped to bloom.

Green_claws Week 5 veg
Only been giving water with Seaweed extract..
Wow she's taking off now all shoots are at a level apart from the lowest node these might be taken off yet if they can't speed up or I could minipulate the rest of the plant to fit but not to sure best plan of action yet..
**Update week 5 day 2**
Just finished some LST and added a photo of the canopy. Instead of defoliating, I used garden wire to ease the branches out, leaving Node 1 to fill out the center. The goal was a perfectly even canopy height, and I think I nailed it. Mission accomplished! I’m flipping her to flower next week—can’t wait.
Thanks for taking a look
Peace and love ✌️💚
