Bud_Wiser Black Chery Gushers was put in the glass with 30ml of 1% H2O2 for a 24h soak
Has been put in a dark place with room temperature
After that period of time Transported onto paper towel and kept in dark warm place for another 24h
Afterwards they will be put into 70/30 mix of plagron coco perlite, about 1cm in.
Good luck little one, grow strong 💪

Bud_Wiser Black Cherry Gushers was a little shy coming out of coco, was late for the party compared to others in the tent
Now it looks strong and keeps on growing fast
She is getting about 200PPFD of light
Fed her 1EC of a A+B+Calmag mix pH'd to 5.8
I am keeping her on a seedling mat to keep the temperature high as the room temperature is quite cold

Bud_Wiser Second week brought some good growth
Black Cherry gushers sprouted late but doing best to catch up
Increased the EC once it exited the seedling stage
PPFD is around 200-250

Bud_Wiser 3 weeks passed and Black Chery Gushers is doing ok
I suspect the root zone EC raised because she is starting to show some signs of osmotic stress
For the next week I am going to tone down the EC to restore balance
Growth rate is normal so I am not going to take any drastic measures as flush
Did a proper manifolding and she recovered quickly 💪

Bud_Wiser 2nd round of topping has been done this week as well as some unwanted node removal.
She is slowly recovering and hopefully in about a week or two it will be ready to flip her to flower
I ran into some nutrient problems in the tent, some imbalance that I am trying to fix now
Nothing too serious, a bit of excess causing some lockouts
I decided to go a little lower on EC to dilute the root zone buildup
I cut on the calmag for next 2-3 reservoirs

Bud_Wiser Another week passed,
The growth speed increased, it almost seem like they are getting bigger and bigger every day
The nutrient imbalance signs on the old growth won't go away but the new growth looks promising
With EC increase I also increased the PPFD to 450
In a couple of days another training session and maybe some defoliation too
Happy Weekend Everyone! 😊

Bud_Wiser Flipped to flower 4 days ago
The conditions are: PPFD 550, RH 60%, Temp 23-24C
The grow rate is ok, she is a little pale but that's still the residue of problems from earlier
I found one cluster of male sacks and removed it. Looks like it's not very stable genetics.
The plant is a female for sure, found multiple female reproductive organs
I am surprised because Barney's was always fire genetics. I guess ambition is getting the better of them

Bud_Wiser Day 10 after flip to 12/12
Black Chery Gushers is racing towards the light. Looks like she wants to be first up there no matter the cost
😂
She's healthy and develops as should. She has the longest internodal spacing of all plants in the tent
Smooth Sailing 😀

Bud_Wiser Stretch is coming to an end it's time for major defoliation
Black Cherry Gushers lost about 80% of foliage and half of the bud sites, still there is plenty left
For some reason some of the plants in the tent are turning lime green, This is my first time growing in Plagron, wondering if you all have similar experience with the nutrient line
Growth is as expected, leaves praying to the light. I don't think I will look for cause of the discoloration and just keep on schedule

Bud_Wiser on 23.02 I did a full system and grow medium flush, system cleaning and tent cleaning
Flushed first with light nutrient mix with addition of 3% H2O2
Last few grows was such a hit and miss when it comes to root health in autopots I am considering swapping back to air pots and top watering for the next run
Black Cherry Gushers seem to love high PPFD. She's soaking in the light with no issues. Really frosty too. The only issue is, she doesn't smell like much?

Bud_Wiser Black Cherry Gushers is a producer for sure. Very slow to mature, all the pistils are still white. Very potent smell of gas and earth, not much of cherry in there.
It stretched to the moon and getting evenly covered with buds

Bud_Wiser Black Cherry Gushers refuses to grow up 😅
She seems to be stuck in the bulking phase because she gets bigger and bigger but not very mature.
All the hair are white and trichomes are mostly clear on this one. She is a late bloomer
Smells very generic, I was expecting more cherry/cinnamon vibe there? A little disappointed
She has at least 2+ weeks to redeem herself 😂

Bud_Wiser Last update before chop
It's been quite a bumpy journey... Some problems occurred
In the end I got some dense frosty buds out of the grow
See you all on the next one that I start in May
Thank you everyone that followed and liked. It means a great deal to me 🙏
Black Cherry Gushers is a heavy hitter, the high doesn't last for long but it's a perfect strain for a meetup with friends. Brings in you a real talker and is very uplifting without being overwhelming.
The smell is not something I'd expect. It's not very potent smell, it's that classical weed smell we are used to with some very subtle fruity notes
The taste brings more in the cherry aspect with very sweet mouth watering finish. Very candy like, sweet and earthy. Not ideal for a daily smoke.

Bud_Wiser I harvested the plants today
I made some studio photos of some buds
Hope you like them
Thank you all for all the likes and follows
I will update the post in May, after curing and testing with some thoughts on the strains and terpenes :)
