Jacks_Pot Welcome to my new grow report!
After a few rounds with two strains, this time it will be just one strain. I’m hoping that using a single variety will give me more uniform plants (in height).
I chose Frozen Black Cherry from Anesia Seeds, an indica-dominant strain.
On 03/12/25, five seeds were sown in 0.4-liter pots. These were filled with seed-starting soil and watered with Rhizotonic (EC 0.76 – pH 6.0 – 21°C).
They were then placed on a heat mat set to 27°C using a thermostat. I never pre-germinate, so I simply put the seed straight into the moist, warm soil.
On 05/12/25, one had already popped up, and the next day all five were above ground.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.9 and 26.0°C, and humidity stayed between 40 and 80%.

Jacks_Pot I marked 07/12/25 as the first day of growth. The plan is to let them grow for 4 weeks, depending on how well they do. The four best plants will remain.
As always, I’ll be scrogging.
I set the COB wattage to 60 watts at a distance of 45 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 20 / PPFD 309.
Even though I’m already giving quite a bit more light than the DLI chart suggests (the chart says to start with a DLI of 13; I’m giving 20), they still stretch during the first few days.
Not really a problem, since I’ll fix that when transplanting. Still strange how they always stretch in those first days…
This week, on day 3, I gave each plant 30 ml of tap water lightly fed with CannaStart and Rhizotonic (0.75 ml of each per 500 ml) (EC 1.08 – pH 6.2 – 19.9°C). On day 5, I gave them another 40 ml of the same nutrient solution.
On day 7, I made a bit more nutrient water with 0.5 ml CannaStart + 0.5 ml Rhizotonic per 250 ml (EC 1.18 – pH 6.2 – 20.6°C).
Each plant received 45 ml of this.
I also placed a small fan to make the seedlings gently sway.
The heat mat was set to 25°C.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.2 and 25.0°C, and humidity stayed between 38 and 60%.

Jacks_Pot The little ones were making good progress and were right on schedule.
On day 13, four were transplanted into 14-liter Airpots.
The potting soil was again from DCM (Vegetables and Herbs) and was watered in with Power Roots (4 ml / 4000 ml) and nematodes against fungus gnats. The small heat mat was replaced with the large Root!T heat mat (60 watts).
This is what the feeding schedule looked like this week:
Day 8 → Dry
Day 9 → To 250 ml of tap water, 0.2 ml Pure Zym, 0.2 ml Power Roots, 0.75 ml Fish Force,
1 drop of Silic Rock, and 1 drop of CalMag were added
(EC 1.19 – pH 6.0 – 20.5°C). Each plant received 30 ml.
Day 10 → Dry
Day 11 → To 300 ml of tap water, 0.2 ml Pure Zym, 0.2 ml Power Roots, 0.2 ml Terra Grow,
1 drop of Silic Rock, and 1 drop of CalMag were added
(EC 1.37 – pH 6.1 – 21.1°C). Each plant received 50 ml.
Day 12 → Dry
Day 13 → Transplant day
Day 14 → Dry
The lamp wattage remained at 60 watts, but the distance was reduced to 43 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 22 / PPFD 340.
On day 13, the second COB lamp was placed in the tent. Together they provided 120 watts at a distance of 48 cm.
This also resulted in a DLI of 22 / PPFD 340.
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.2 and 24.1°C, and humidity stayed between 35 and 59%.
Soil temperature was around 20–22°C.
The humidity was actually too low for this stage, but I decided to try a grow phase without a humidifier.
I do notice that they grow more slowly than with higher humidity.

Jacks_Pot This week went smoothly, with no signs of deficiencies.
The plant on the right is slightly larger than the rest.
In the other plants, the nodes are fairly close together, while in this one there is a bit more spacing.
That doesn’t really matter, because during the scrogging they will (hopefully) end up at roughly the same height.
The four lowest shoots were removed on each plant.
The next four shoots above those will become the four main branches.
Normally I go for six main branches per plant, but with four I’m hoping
for better overview and less of a jungle. So tomorrow or so they will be topped.
This is what they received this week:
Day 15 → To 2500 ml of tap water, 10 ml Fish Force, 0.3 ml Silic Rock
and 0.3 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.25 – pH 6.0 – 20.5°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
Day 16 → Dry
Day 17 → To 2500 ml of tap water, 2 ml Pure Zym, 2 ml Power Roots,
3.5 ml Terra Grow, 0.3 ml Silic Rock and 0.3 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.30 – pH 6.1 – 20.2°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
Day 18 → Dry
Day 19 → Same as day 17 (EC 1.25 – pH 6.0 – 20.2°C). Each received 600 ml.
Day 20 → Dry
Day 21 → Same as day 17 (EC 1.25 – pH 6.0 – 20.5°C). Each received 600 ml.
On day 18 they received their first spray with Vita Race (0.5 ml / 150 ml).
I apply this about half an hour before the lights turn on.
The exhaust and fan are switched off during this time so it doesn’t dry too quickly.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 130 watts at a distance of 39 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 26 and a PPFD of 401.
Temperatures ranged between 18.3–24.2°C and humidity stayed between 24–58%.
I ended up connecting the humidifier after all, as it became very dry in the tent (values below 20%).

Jacks_Pot Normally, I was planning to switch to 12/12 after 4 weeks, but I still find them too small.
So I’m going to keep them on 18/6 for a few more days.
The week started with topping the plants. As I mentioned in the previous update,
I will keep 4 main branches per plant. On day 28, the scrog net was installed.
Apart from that, the week went smoothly with no deficiencies as far as I can tell.
They are drinking more now, though.
The fungus gnats are under control, with 0 specimens on the yellow sticky traps.
This is what they received this week:
Day 22 → Dry
Day 23 → To 2500 ml of tap water, 13 ml Fish Force, 0.5 ml Silic Rock, and 0.5 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.38 – pH 6.0 – 20.5°C). I gave each plant 600 ml of this.
Day 24 → Dry
Day 25 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 2.5 ml Pure Zym, 2.5 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Sugar Royal,
5 ml Terra Grow, 0.6 ml Silic Rock, and 0.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.41 – pH 6.1 – 20°C). I gave each plant 750 ml.
Day 26 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 5 ml Terra Grow, 0.6 ml Silic Rock, and 0.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.34 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C). I gave each plant 750 ml.
Day 27 → Same as day 25 (EC 1.44 – pH 6.1 – 20.8°C). Each plant received 750 ml.
Day 28 → Same as day 26 (EC 1.27 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C). Each plant received 750 ml.
On day 25, I gave them their weekly spray with Vita Race (1 ml / 200 ml).
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 140 watts at a distance of 38 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 31 / PPFD of 478.
Temperatures ranged between 18.9–23.8°C, and humidity stayed between 26–67%.
Humidity is still low when the humidifier is not running, but it is now less of an issue when it occasionally drops too low.

Jacks_Pot This week lasted only 6 days. Tomorrow I will switch to the 12/12 light schedule.
If it had depended on the plant on the right, I would have switched earlier,
but the other plants were progressing less smoothly.
Hopefully the scrog net will get filled, and at the same time I want to prevent them from stretching too much.
In total, they were allowed to grow for 34 days on 18/6 (the 4 days of germination not included).
Apart from that, the week went without any problems and I think they are feeling quite good.
This is what their feeding schedule looked like:
Day 29 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 18 ml Fish Force, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.48 – pH 6.0 – 20°C). I gave each plant 750 ml of this.
Day 30 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 2.5 ml Pure Zym, 2.5 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Sugar Royal,
7 ml Terra Grow, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.71 – pH 6.0 – 20.2°C). I gave each plant 750 ml of this.
Day 31 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 6 ml Terra Grow, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.46 – pH 6.1 – 21.2°C). I gave each plant 750 ml of this.
Day 32 → Same as day 30, but with 6 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.59 – pH 6.1 – 20.9°C). Each received 750 ml.
Day 33 → Same as day 31 (EC 1.40 – pH 6.1 – 21.2°C). Each received 750 ml.
Day 34 → Same as day 32 (EC 1.57 – pH 6.1 – 21.2°C). Each received 750 ml.
On day 32, they received a foliar spray with Vita Race (1.2 ml / 250 ml).
The wattage of the COBs was increased on day 29 to 160 watts at a distance of 38 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 37 / PPFD of 571.
The average power consumption of the COBs during the vegetative phase was 111 watts (maximum was 160 watts).
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.1 and 24.2°C, and humidity remained between 34 and 68%.

Jacks_Pot On the first day of this week, I removed a few leaves at the top to allow more light to reach the center of the plants.
Later in the week, pruning and defoliation were also done below the scrog net.
I actually like having 4 main branches instead of 6.
There is now more clarity underneath the net, yet it still fills up nicely.
They have become thirstier again, as 750 ml per 24 hours was no longer sufficient.
They now receive about 1000 ml. Only the plant on the left drinks a bit less and is still fine with 700 ml.
The scrog is also progressing well, and the plants are already starting to give off a scent.
This is what their feeding schedule looked like:
Day 35 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 20 ml Fish Force, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.60 – pH 6.0 – 19.8°C). I gave each plant 750 ml of this.
Day 36 → To 3000 ml of tap water, 3 ml Pure Zym, 2 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Sugar Royal,
6 ml Terra Grow, 3 ml Power Buds, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.64 – pH 6.1 – 20.2°C). I gave each plant 750 ml of this.
Day 37 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 10 ml Terra Grow, 1.2 ml Silic Rock, and 1.2 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.55 – pH 6.1 – 20.1°C). I gave them 1000 ml each; the left plant received 700 ml.
Day 38 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 4 ml Pure Zym, 2 ml Power Roots, 3 ml Sugar Royal,
8 ml Terra Grow, 4 ml Power Buds, 1.2 ml Silic Rock, and 1.2 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.59 – pH 6.1 – 21.2°C). I gave them 1100 ml each; the left plant received 600 ml.
Day 39 → Same as day 37 (EC 1.59 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C). Each plant received 1100 ml; the left plant received 700 ml.
Day 40 → Same as day 38 (EC 1.58 – pH 6.1 – 21.1°C). Each plant received 1100 ml; the left plant received 700 ml.
Day 41 → Same as day 37 (EC 1.58 – pH 6.1 – 21.1°C). Each plant received 1100 ml; the left plant received 700 ml.
On day 39, they were sprayed with Vita Race (1.5 ml / 300 ml).
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 170 watts at a distance of 38 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 28 and a PPFD of 648.
I set the circulation fan to setting 2, and the exhaust fan was also increased slightly.
The humidifier was turned off.

Jacks_Pot This week also started with defoliation. Pruning was done both at the top and the bottom.
During the week, another leaf and a smaller shoot were removed as well.
I topped the two outermost main tops of the left and right plants once again,
as I fear they would otherwise become too tall.
The scrogging is more or less finished. From now on,
they can focus on forming flowers and growing a little more.
I saw pre-flowers on every plant, so the pistils shouldn’t take long to appear.
They are drinking well, except for the left one, which is still taking about 700 ml per 24 hours,
while its neighbor takes 1200 ml. The right plant also drinks 1200 ml, and its neighbor is satisfied with about 1000 ml.
Other than that, the week went smoothly.
I did see a fungus gnat a few times, but there can’t be many of them.
This is what their feeding schedule looked like this week:
Day 42 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 28 ml Fish Force, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.65 – pH 6.0 – 21.1°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1200 ml.
This was the last feeding with Fish Force for this run.
Day 43 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 4 ml Pure Zym, 2 ml Power Roots, 3 ml Sugar Royal,
10 ml Terra Grow, 4 ml Power Buds, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.80 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1200 ml.
Day 44 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 12 ml Terra Grow, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.76 – pH 6.1 – 20.8°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1200 ml.
Day 45 → Same as Day 43 (EC 1.79 – pH 6.0 – 20.5°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1200 ml.
Day 46 → Same as Day 44 (EC 1.74 – pH 6.1 – 21.1°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1200 ml.
Day 47 → Same as Day 43 (EC 1.79 – pH 6.0 – 21.3°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1200 ml.
This was the last feeding with Power Roots for this run.
Day 48 → Same as Day 44 (EC 1.76 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1200 ml.
On Day 46, I gave the four plants their final foliar spray with Vita Race (1 ml / 250 ml).
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 200 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 30 and a PPFD of 694.
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.1 and 25.8°C, and humidity stayed between 37 and 66%.

Jacks_Pot The plants are clearly enjoying themselves.
They’ve grown quite a bit again this week and more pistils have appeared.
The second plant from the right does remain small compared to the rest.
Well, that’s how nature works. Not every human grows to the same height either.
Apart from that, there are no signs of deficiencies or excesses to report.
The smell has noticeably increased, though. Next week I’ll probably need to defoliate again.
This is what their menu looked like this week:
Day 49 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 5 ml Terra Grow,
5 ml Terra Bloom, 4 ml Power Buds, 2 ml Silic Rock, and 2 ml CalMag were added

Day 55 → Same as day 49 (EC 1.80 – pH 6.1 – 20.4°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1300 ml.
This was the last feeding with Terra Grow for this cycle.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 220 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 32 / PPFD of 741.
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.4 and 24.9°C, and humidity remained between 35 and 53%.

Jacks_Pot At the beginning of this week, a few more leaves were removed and a couple of small, lower shoots were taken off.
These would only turn into fluff with lower THC anyway.
They have grown a bit more, but not as much as last week.
Flowering is progressing nicely and the leaves still look good.
Only on the plant on the right do I see some small rust spots here and there on the leaves.
They are drinking a bit more now, as I have to prepare 5 liters of nutrient solution instead of 4.
This is what I gave them this week:
Day 56 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 10 ml Terra Bloom, 2 ml Green Sensation, 2 ml Silic Rock
and 2 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.93 – pH 6.1 – 21.8°C). Each plant received between 700 and 1300 ml.
Day 57 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 10 ml Terra Bloom,
4 ml Power Buds, 2 ml Silic Rock, and 2 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.82 – pH 6.0 – 21.6°C).
Each plant received between 700 and 1300 ml.

Day 60 → To 5000 ml of tap water, 13 ml Terra Bloom, 2.5 ml Green Sensation,
2.5 ml Silic Rock, and 2.5 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.86 – pH 6.1 – 21.6°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 61 → To 5000 ml of tap water, 5 ml Pure Zym, 5 ml Sugar Royal, 13 ml Terra Bloom,
5 ml Power Buds, 2.5 ml Silic Rock, and 2.5 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.78 – pH 6.0 – 22.5°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 62 → Same as day 60 (EC 1.94 – pH 6.2 – 21.4°C). Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 240 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 34 and a PPFD of 787.
There are now two small fans hanging in the tent. I regularly lubricate them with WD-40,
otherwise they no longer blow strongly enough after a while. After lubrication, they work perfectly again.
I also increased the exhaust fan speed slightly; it is now running almost at maximum.
The monitoring of temperature and humidity has been upgraded.
From now on, this is done with a Govee Wi-Fi thermo-hygrometer.
The sensor does have an LED indicator light that briefly lights up every few seconds, which I have taped over.

Jacks_Pot The strongest growth phase is pretty much over now,
because during the week I didn’t have to increase the COBs anymore.
I have the impression that the smallest plant actually grew the most this week.
This one also has 11-fingered leaves, which I hadn’t seen for quite some time either.
On the second day of the week, some defoliation was done again
to give the lower tops a bit more light. Tomorrow I’ll defoliate once more.
Flowering is progressing steadily, but I do have the impression that it’s going
a bit slower than usual. Normally I would already see more bud formation
and trichomes by now.
This makes me suspect that the flowering period will lean more toward 10 weeks. We’ll see.
No signs of male or hermaphrodite plants and no fungus gnats spotted anymore. Victory at last!
Only the plant on the right is having a slightly harder time. Some leaves there are declining a bit,
with some yellowing and rust spots here and there. Because it’s not a general issue
and this plant was positioned a bit closer to the COBs for a while, I’m thinking light stress again.
There always has to be one that complains…😑
This is what their feeding schedule looked like this week:
Day 63 → To 5000 ml of tap water, 5 ml Pure Zym, 5 ml Sugar Royal, 15 ml Terra Bloom,
5 ml Power Buds, 2 ml Silic Rock, and 2 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.80 – pH 6.2 – 22.5°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 64 → To 5000 ml of tap water, 13 ml Terra Bloom, 3.5 ml Green Sensation,
2 ml Silic Rock, and 2 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.93 – pH 6.2 – 20.6°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 65 → Same as day 63, but with 16 ml Terra Bloom (EC 1.86 – pH 6.1 – 20.5°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 66 → Same as day 64 (EC 1.93 – pH 6.2 – 20.9°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 67 → Same as day 65 (EC 1.86 – pH 6.2 – 21.4°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 68 → Same as day 64 (EC 1.97 – pH 6.2 – 21.1°C).
Each plant received between 1000 and 1500 ml.
Day 69 → Same as day 65 (EC 1.86 – pH 6.2 – 21.4°C).
Each plant received between 800 and 1200 ml.
This was the last feeding with Silic Rock for this cycle.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 260 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 36 / PPFD of 833.
The exhaust fan is now set to maximum and the dehumidifier is set to 40%.
Through the Govee app you can also see the VPD values.
VPD stands for Vapour Pressure Deficit and is expressed in kPa.
A kPa between 0.4 and 1.6 is acceptable for plants, depending on the stage of the grow they are in.
Ideally it’s 1.0–1.2 kPa during vegetative growth and 1.4–1.6 kPa during the flowering phase.
I hadn’t heard of it before, but it does make it clear that correct relative humidity and temperature are important factors.
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.1 and 25.5°C and humidity stayed between 48 and 60%.
VPD values ranged between 0.75 and 1.66 kPa.

Jacks_Pot This week the buds started to bulk up. The trichome production also increased significantly.
Most of the leaves are still nicely green, except for a few leaves on the plant on the right.
This one seems to be the furthest along in flowering.
This week they were already given less nutrients
and I will continue feeding for about another week.
I still expect at least two more weeks before harvest, but it could also be a bit longer.
I have not yet examined the trichomes closely.
Starting next week I will occasionally check them with a loupe.
This is what they received this week
Day 84 → 10 ml Terra Bloom and 3 ml Green Sensation were added to 4000 ml tap water
(EC 1.67 – pH 6.2 – 20.4°C). Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 85 → 4 ml Pure Zym, 4 ml Sugar Royal and 12 ml Terra Bloom were added to 4000 ml tap water
(EC 1.51 – pH 6.0 – 21.5°C). Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 86 → Same as day 84 (EC 1.68 – pH 6.1 – 21.7°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 87 → Same as day 85 (EC 1.52 – pH 6.1 – 22.1°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 88 → Same as day 84 (EC 1.65 – pH 6.3 – 21.4°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 89 → Same as day 85 (EC 1.54 – pH 6.2 – 22.7°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 90 → Same as day 84 (EC 1.55 – pH 6.3 – 21.4°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
This was the last feeding with Green Sensation for this round.
The COB wattage remained at 300 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
DLI: 40 / PPFD: 926
Temperatures fluctuated between 18.4 – 26.7°C, and humidity stayed between 43 – 55%.
The average VPD value was 1.39 kPa.

Jacks_Pot The buds have continued to fatten up this week and are starting to look more mature.
In the middle of the week I took out the loupe and inspected a few buds.
There are still quite a lot of trichomes that are clear, though some have already turned milky.
The plant on the right is the furthest along and already has some amber-colored trichomes.
They are also drinking less. Starting next week they will only receive pH-adjusted tap water.
I will add CannaFlush once in the middle of the week.
Another week or a little longer to ripen, and then the scissors can come out.
The photos in this update were once again taken with a smartphone.
The photos from day 97 were taken with the COBs turned on.
This is what their menu looked like this week:
Day 91 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 2 ml Pure Zym, 2 ml Sugar Royal, and 10 ml Terra Bloom were added
(EC 1.38 – pH 6.2 – 19.5°C). Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 92 → To 4000 ml of tap water, 10 ml Terra Bloom was added (EC 1.28 – pH 6.2 – 20.9°C).
Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 93 → Same as day 91 (EC 1.37 – pH 6.3 – 22.7°C). Each plant received between 900 and 1200 ml.
Day 94 → Same as day 92 (EC 1.28 – pH 6.2 – 20.5°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 95 → Same as day 91 (EC 1.38 – pH 6.2 – 19.5°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 96 → Same as day 92 (EC 1.28 – pH 6.2 – 20.3°C). Each plant received 800 ml.
Day 97 → 800 ml remaining from day 96 + 2700 ml tap water (EC 0.76 – pH 6.2 – 19.8°C).
Each plant received 800 ml. This was the last feeding for this round.
The wattage of the COBs was reduced to 280 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 38 / PPFD of 880.
Temperatures fluctuated between 19.3 – 26.2°C, and humidity remained between 45 – 54%.
The average VPD value was 1.44 kPa.

Jacks_Pot This week, the buds ripened a bit more. Most of the trichomes are milky, with a few amber ones.
I regularly checked to make sure no bud rot was developing.
I didn’t find any... these last weeks are always tense in that regard.
The harvest is planned for sometime next week.
Their menu this week consisted of 800 ml of acidified tap water per plant daily
(EC 0.56 – pH 6.0–6.3 – 19.5–21.5°C).
Midweek, I gave them tap water with CannaFlush (4 ml / 4000 ml).
Each plant received 1000 ml.
The wattage of the COBs was reduced to 240 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 34 and a PPFD of 787.
Temperatures fluctuated between 17.9–25°C and humidity remained between 41–53%. The average VPD value was 1.34 kPa.
C u after the harvest! 👋
Jacks_Pot This week the plants were harvested. During the first three days they each received 800 ml of acidified tap water.
Then one dry day, and on day 5 half of them were harvested. The next day the rest were harvested.
In total, this grow took 114 days. Four days to germinate, 34 days of growing on 18/6, and 76 days on 12/12.
For future grows I’ll definitely need to do more pruning and keep fewer branches per plant.
Also more defoliation, because I ended up with quite a few fluffy buds that were hidden.
It needs to be more organized and less of a jungle.
I do think there will be a decent amount of good buds. I also didn’t find any rot.
Once everything is dry, the final weight will be added. Until then! 👋
Hi, I'm also currently growing frozen Black cherry from Anesia. and I see how it's growing nicely 🍀. Are you planning a UVB lamp in the last few weeks of flowering? (it will help achieve high efficiency and resin production, for which the variety was bred.) as recommended by Anesia? Let it grow ✌️🍀
@Lodzik, Good luck with your grow! I’ve read that as well about the UVB lamp, but I’m going to stick with my COBs. Maybe something to try in the future.
Hey man, those buds look sweet! Have you tried smoking the Frozen Black Cherry yet? I know it’s still early, but I bet you’ve already given it a taste. What are the effects like?" For more context, you can add questions about taste or yield. 👍🍀
Hey man, looking good! 👍🍀 I wanted to ask about the smell—when you rub your fingers on a leaf, what do you get? To me, it reminds me of a mix of gooseberries, currants, cherries, and wild strawberries, with a hint of shit and a bit of gas. 😁⛽
Hey man, I had those same small rusty spots on my leaves too. Yesterday, I gave them a flush with just water and enzymes—no nutrients at all. I can already see a huge improvement after just 24 hours! Good luck with the grow! 🍀
@Lodzik, It’s only on one plant. The one that’s closest to the lights is having a bit of trouble. So that could be the issue here.
Good luck with yours also 👍
Hey man, the plants look really nice and tasty. You’ve done a great job 🍀. I’m curious to see how the buds will look once they're dried, how they'll taste, and especially what the effects will be like. Thanks for sharing your diary!✌️🍀
