So far all good for this Auto Purple, it's growing fast and healthy. The leaves stems have turned purple, is it a good sign? I've seen some phenos of this strain without purple buds and I don't want that.
I won't be training this plant as much, maybe some defoliation. Being 90% indica, I think it will be short and thick.
Explosive growth this week. Growing this plant I'm learning that less is more with nutrients on autos.
I'm fixing my feeding schedule to feed-water-water.
It started flowering mid week.
I'm using the leaf tucking training.
Upper leaves are curled down, like the plant was overwatered. But he bottom ones are fine, any suggestions?
So far there's not purple on the bud sites.

I started using leaf tucking in order to get light on the secondary branches and since that the upper leaves are drooping. It's looking like overwatered, but the pot feels light.

Hi! Looking good there. They are underwatered at the moment. When I used 11L pots I water 1,5L every other day. Pots felt quite light always when watering. And it's good idea to water before they stress from underwatering.
Keep up with the good work. Also noticed you are using Bio Bizz products. I use them too and started to improve my yields after adding cal-mag additive to the mix 😉

The solution for the wilting leaves was raising the light. Leaves look pale green so I'm slowly increasing nutes.
No signs of purple on the buds yet :(
Plant still a little underfeeded, I'm gonna be increasing nutes as soon as soil dries. I'm also using some LST to get more light on the secondary branches.

This plant is doing great, she is starting to drink a lot of water.
This week I increased nutrients and now she looks much better. The pale green is finally becoming darker.
She will produce some nice buds for sure!
This plant is healthy and stacking some nice buds. Big main cola and good secondary branches. Not the best resin production tho.
I have just started using an strong PK product to get those flowers bigger and bigger.
A lot of foxtailing because of the light intensity/heat. For that it's producing a lot of new white pistils and is gonna take forever to finish.
I have raised my LED, hoping that this gets solved.
Not wasting my time on bulk seeds anytime soon.
One more week for this not purple Auto Purple.
The buds are getting so big, but it's the less resinous strain in the tent. Some heavy foxtailing and a lot of white pistils for being flowering for seven weeks. I have already raised the LED, let's see how it matures.
This plant is taking forever to finish due to foxtailing, but just look at that mass of buds. Trichomes are cloudy with no amber yet so I'm about to cut nutrients off.
This b*** is taking forever to finish and this week I found spider mites on her. Just sprayed with Plant Vitality Plus by BAC to kill them. I hope to chop in two more weeks.
The foxtail lady is finally finishing. All trichomes are cloudy, but I'm gonna wait for some amber before harvesting. I may try the ice flushing on the next watering to make the purple comes out.
Yesterday I smoked a little sample after 10 days of curing or so. It's not the final product both in smell and taste, but it's good already. The smoke is smooth and I did notice the best white ash of all the strains I have harvested. I flushed this Purple on the last watering untill 50-100ppm at the runoff so that's something I will be doing on all my plants.
As flavour, I picked some sweet and spicy notes. Very relaxing effects.
This strain was a pain to grow. It didn't turn purple, it was very sensitive to light and got some spidermites aswell. Anyway, I managed to solve all problems, so it was a good learning experience.
Hi @AtticGrowing! You're actually under-watering them, the droopy leaves, in case of a light container and a dry medium, are the first symptoms of a lack of water. Your relative humidity is pretty low and your plants are going to ask for more water as they have entered the flowering stage and are stretching a bit more everyday. If the information on your diary is right, 0.35ml/day is not enough at all for these babies. Give it a good 2-3L once every 3-4 days, or the tops might start to droop and slowly die. Remember that your medium shouldn't be wet or dry for too long, it should alternate between those cycles. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊
