Well the time came for the little mutant to vacate the tent. Basically I needed the room for another grow and because I'm on an autoflowering light schedule 20/4 I decided the mutant would need to stay in veg for a long time if it remained in the tent.
So I moved it outdoors under a greenhouse/patio Which offers full protection from the elements (except the cold temps)
I am expecting it to show preflowers soon and if it is a female She can keep on growing where she is now or if male He can
fuck off 😅 as It doesn't show any desirable Breeding traits that I am interested in.
Healthwise the plant looks pretty good considering the abrubt move outside , cold nights etc So fingers crossed it's a girl
😀
Good idea
Just wondering how do you plan to quarantine the pollin as you grow outdoors?
Im guessing Australia is a big place so it shouldn’t be too difficult to put distance between them :)
@DILLIGAF, thanks for illuminating a whole branch of learning I did not even consider existed.
Will be delving in to pollen and best practices when handling to learn more.
Cheers big ears 👍🏽
@Techpuffin, good question the only females i have are in my tent and the males outside however once it starts poppin pollen I need to make sure I don't inadvertantly carry it inside to the girls on my clothes or hands So I plan to only go near the male once Ive already checked on the girls for that day and will take xtra precautions when it;s shedding Gonna sieve it and freeze it for later on
Well you may have found a keeper genetics wise let's hope for the best so as to continue on a new generation with awesome characteristics you are looking for awesome looking plant..
