Lowbuds 🌱 Eternity Growcup 2026 – Sticky Broccoli (Zamnesia)
First post for the Eternity Growcup 2026.
I’ll be running Sticky Broccoli from Zamnesia (free seed) in a 10 L pot with re-amended soil, worm humus and a living soil mix.
Setup:
• 2 × QP-50 (50 W) in a custom layout
• Soil grow, low input
• LST planned
• Green Sensation will be used later in flower at low dose
Germination – Day 0
One seed went into germination today using the paper towel method, lightly misted with H₂O₂, started shortly before the full moon
I’ll update once the taproot shows and the seed goes into soil.
Simple, clean, and steady from here.
Many thanks to Zamnesia Seeds and Plagron for hosting this competition and providing the beans
Midweek Update 04.01 seed sprouted and was transferred in soil

Lowbuds 🌱 Eternity Growcup 2026 – Sticky Broccoli
Week 1 veg
Sticky Broccoli is officially up and out of the soil 🌱
Seed was germinated with the paper towel method (light H₂O₂ mist) and planted straight into the final 10 L pot with re-amended living soil + worm humus.
She’s now under the 2×QP-50 setup, settling in nicely. Nothing fancy planned yet — just letting her establish and build roots.
More to come once she starts moving.

Lowbuds Week 1 veg – reset
Quick update for this week.
The first seed didn’t make it — early on it suffered from cold temps and too much humidity, and the top ended up rotting before it could establish properly.
A new Sticky Broccoli seed was planted directly into soil a few days ago, and she’s now popping her head out of the soil 🌱
Conditions have been adjusted and everything looks on track again.
I’ll be counting this one as the official start and will update as she settles in.
Back on track from here.

Lowbuds 🌱 Eternity Growcup 2026 – Sticky Broccoli
Week 3 (Week 1 actual growth)
Quick clarification update.
The first seed was lost early on due to cold temps and excess humidity, so I restarted with a new Sticky Broccoli seed, planted directly into soil.
This second seed has moved fast and has now caught up to the stage where the first one stopped, so while we’re officially at Week 3 of the diary, the plant itself is at a fresh Week 1 of real vegetative growth.
She’s up, healthy, and settling in well under the 2×QP-50 setup. Conditions are stable now and growth should pick up steadily from here.
From here on, I’ll track actual plant development rather than calendar time.
More updates soon.

Lowbuds Week 4 (real Week 2 veg)
Sticky Broccoli is now up and established 🌱
After losing the first seed early on, the second one was planted directly into soil and has caught up to the same stage. While the diary is at Week 3, this plant itself is at a fresh Week 1 of actual vegetative growth.
She’s settling in nicely in the 10 L pot with re-amended living soil and worm humus, under the 2×QP-50 setup. Stem is standing, leaves look healthy, and growth is starting to pick up.
From here I’ll track her based on plant development rather than calendar time.
More soon.

Lowbuds 🌱 Eternity Growcup 2026 – Sticky Broccoli
Week 5 (real Week 3 veg)
Sticky Broccoli is starting to pick up speed 🌱
This is the restarted seed that was planted directly into soil, and she’s now moving into a solid early veg rhythm. While the diary is at Week 5, the plant itself is at about Week 3 of real vegetative growth.
She’s in the 10 L pot with re-amended living soil + worm humus, under the 2×QP-50 setup. Leaves look healthy, new growth is coming in, and structure is beginning to form.
No training yet — just letting her build a bit more before starting LST.
More soon.
