Stage: Flowering Phase Week 7
Day: ~Day 51 since 12/12 switch
πΏ Flower Development & Ripening
Flower Week 7 marked the beginning of the true ripening phase.
The flowers continue to increase in density while showing visible signs of maturation across the entire canopy.
Current observations:
-Buds remain extremely dense and resin heavy
-Trichome coverage continues intensifying
-Flower coloration has shifted toward a unique green-grey / slightly bluish tone
-The canopy now carries a distinctly mature late flower appearance
The plants are clearly transitioning from active production into final ripening.
π Aroma Development
The terpene profile became significantly more intense this week.
Alongside the previously dominant sweet aroma, the plants are now developing:
-sharper notes
-deeper indica-like undertones
-a more complex and layered scent profile
The combination creates a rich aroma reminiscent of:
-sweet Gelato-style candy notes
-Zkittlez-like fruitiness
-combined with a slightly spicy and sharp backend
The smell now fills the grow area immediately upon opening the tent.
π΅ Feeding & Flushing Transition
This week marked the beginning of the gradual flushing transition.
Nutrient levels were reduced to allow the plants to:
-naturally consume stored nutrients
-enter the final ripening process cleanly
-enhance terpene and flower expression toward harvest
The plants responded very well to the adjustment.
π Autumn Fade & Leaf Coloration
As a direct response to the flushing process and late flowering stage, the plants have now started showing the first autumn fade characteristics:
-fading fan leaves
-soft discoloration patterns
-natural late-flower color transitions
These changes are appearing gradually and evenly, while overall flower health remains exceptional.
The contrast between fading foliage and heavily frosted flowers creates an increasingly striking visual appearance.

-and significant overall flower weight
The bud weight has increased to the point where several main branches have slowly started leaning under the mass of the flowers.
The canopy now displays the exact appearance expected from a mature late flower crop.
π Autumn Fade & Late Flower Colors
The flushing process, nutrient reduction, and recent dry back period have now pushed the plants deeply into their autumn phase.
Visible changes include:
-fading fan leaves
-intense late flower coloration
-yellow, purple, grey green, and bluish tones throughout the canopy
The visual contrast between the colorful foliage and heavily frosted flowers has become one of the strongest highlights of the run.

Now only the final harvest window remains πΈβ¨
πΈ Weekly Summary
Flower Week 8 delivered the final signs of maturity across every aspect of the grow.
Heavy flowers, colorful fading leaves, red pistils, and extreme resin coverage now define the entire canopy as harvest approaches.
The journey is nearly complete , only the final darkness period and harvest remain ππΏ
Sticky Broccoli proved to be an exceptionally stable and rewarding cultivar.
From seedling to harvest, all four plants developed with remarkable uniformity, showing very little phenotypic variation. This consistency made training, canopy management, and feeding highly predictable throughout the entire grow.
The strain responded exceptionally well to topping, defoliation, lollipopping, and SCROG training, recovering quickly after every intervention without showing signs of stress. Strong lateral branching, thick stems, and vigorous growth created an ideal structure for maximizing canopy coverage and flower production.
Throughout the flowering phase, Sticky Broccoli maintained excellent health, strong nutrient uptake, and impressive resilience. Resin production increased heavily during late flower, covering the buds with dense trichome layers while developing attractive green-grey and bluish hues.
The aroma evolved from sweet candy-like notes into a more complex profile combining fruity sweetness, creamy dessert characteristics, and subtle spicy undertones.
Overall, Sticky Broccoli demonstrated excellent genetic stability, strong resistance

GERGrowDesigns βοΈ Harvest Week Sticky Broccoli Feminized
After a successful flowering cycle, harvest day finally arrived.
The plants completed their ripening phase exactly as intended and were harvested under optimal conditions. Dense flowers, heavy resin production, strong coloration, and a complex aroma profile made the final days especially rewarding after weeks of careful cultivation.
To ensure the best possible drying process, the entire plants were divided into manageable branches and hung individually inside the grow tent. Environmental conditions were kept stable and controlled throughout the drying phase to preserve flower quality, terpene expression, and resin integrity.
Over the following days, the flowers were wet-trimmed and transferred to drying nets, where they continued drying under the same controlled conditions.
One of the most enjoyable surprises during harvest was the ease of trimming. Sticky Broccoli produced relatively few excess leaves around the flowers, making the trimming process straightforward and efficient while allowing the bud structure to remain highly visible.
The harvested flowers displayed:
-Dense and compact bud structure
-Heavy trichome coverage
-Strong bag appeal
-Excellent flower to leaf ratio
-Consistent development across all four plants
Yield expectations were very satisfying, with the canopy fully utilizing the available grow space and converting months of work into a healthy and rewarding harvest.
Harvest Week marks the end of the cultivation cycle, but the journey is not quite finished yet. The flowers will now move into curing, where aroma, smoothness, and overall quality can fully develop before the final evaluation.π₯¦
GERGrowDesigns π₯¦ Final Cure & Smoke Report Sticky Broccoli Feminized
After 12 days of controlled drying and an additional 2 weeks of curing, Sticky Broccoli has fully revealed its final character.
The flowers were dried under stable environmental conditions and cured in Terploc Grove Bags at 19Β°C, allowing the terpene profile and overall flower quality to develop exceptionally well.
π Appearance & Bag Appeal
One of the most striking features of Sticky Broccoli is its visual appeal.
The flowers display:
-Dense and well structured buds
-Heavy trichome coverage
-Beautiful green grey and slightly bluish coloration
-Vibrant deep red pistils tightly wrapped around the flowers
The contrast between the frosted buds and the intense red pistils creates outstanding bag appeal and gives the flowers a premium appearance.
The SCROG training throughout the grow cycle clearly paid off. Aside from a small amount of popcorn buds (approximately 33g), the harvest consisted almost entirely of large, uniform flowers with excellent structure and consistency (Total 318g).
π Aroma & Flavor
The aroma closely reflects what was observed during late flowering.
Sweet candy like notes dominate the profile, accompanied by creamy dessert characteristics and fruity undertones reminiscent of Gelato and Zkittlez type cultivars.
After curing, additional depth emerged, introducing a slightly sharper and more complex edge to the bouquet.
The flavor translates remarkably well from aroma to smoke, delivering:
-Sweet fruity notes on the inhale
-Creamy dessert-like undertones
-A noticeable gassy and slightly plant-forward finish on the exhale
The combination creates a rich and enjoyable smoking experience with multiple layers of flavor.
β¨ Overall Impression
Sticky Broccoli proved to be an exceptionally rewarding cultivar from seed to cure.
The strain combined:
- Excellent genetic stability
- Strong training response
- Heavy resin production
- Attractive coloration
- Dense flower structure
- Complex terpene expression
From cultivation to the final cured product, the entire process remained consistent, predictable, and highly satisfying.
The final result is a harvest with impressive visual appeal, strong aroma, enjoyable flavor, and flower quality that fully reflects the effort invested throughout the grow cycle.
A cultivar that successfully delivered on every stage of the journey.
