I’m experimenting with DIY inputs and looking to expand my nitrogen sources beyond standard bottled feeds.
If you’ve used ferments, hydrolysates, or other homemade N inputs successfully in veg, I’d love to hear what actually worked for you and how you applied it.
Alfalfa pellet, cheap cattle feed (horses normally) and you need nothing else other than this in veg. 1 hand full in water after a day it turns brown, dilute that again and use.. Magic stuff. Triacontanol in there too.

Provides essential macro- and micronutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn) and organic substances that improve soil health and nutrient uptake.

Have a look into Spirulina Supplies essential micronutrients (Zn, Mn, Cu) and macronutrients (N, P, K) to plants. In sizeable amounts. Wouldn't be surprised if they made it a weed and outlawed it. It's that good. Spirulina in general is highly digestible and breaks down much faster than most plant materials making it great to work with. Gluck Yan the man.
@wolfvb, I think it's going to go well, I already have my PK covered, unfortunately the only thing that might bite me is N as i didn't figure out a way of adding it diy style, most methods for producing "organic N" are smelly and quiet challenging so I might just use straight minerals (calcium nitrate) until I figure it out, , Thank you for the support growmie 🙏♥️✌️
