wolfvb 📅 Week 1: The Micro-Mission Begins! 🥦
Strain: Sticky Broccoli Auto 🥦
Stage: germination
Light Schedule: 18/6
📝 The General Vibe
Welcome to my micro-grow experiment! I'm using an extra Sticky Broccoli Automatic seed from my main grow to see what I can achieve in a small space. She's popped and is looking healthy! This is going to be a fun little side project.
So original I popped one 6.01 but she did not Survive, I guess I have over water her the new one have survived so far.
It will be nice experiment and challenge!

wolfvb Like her sister she is a slow grower only difference she going to be a tall girl or maybe she is reaching out for the light 💡
Plastic pots retain more moisture in my experience, they also cause the roots to not breathe effectively in my opinion. I would recommend lifting the pot before watering to avoid saturating the roots.
@Organic473, yeah I will be moving completely to fabric pots from my next cycle. I ran test and really like them and pineapple Express F1 really love it.
Hey my Buddy this will be a fun one hehehe Thanks for sharing your diary, I actually really like the idea of a micro-grow experiment. Those small projects teach us a lot.
Just my humble opinion, based on what I see and my own mistakes over the years:
💧 Watering (the most common trap early on)
You already mentioned you may have overwatered the first seedling, and honestly, that happens to almost everyone at the beginning.
At this stage, it’s much better to slightly underwater than to overwater.
Seedlings don’t drink much yet, they mostly need oxygen at the roots, not constant moisture.
A good rule early on:
• Water around the seedling, not directly on the stem
• Let the top layer dry a bit before watering again
• Roots will search for water and get stronger that way
Pot choice (small tip that helps a lot)
Your pot works, no problem, plastic pots can absolutely grow healthy plants 👍
That said, if overwatering is something you struggle with (especially when excited at the start), small fabric pots can be a lifesaver.
Fabric pots:
• Dry more evenly
• Are more forgiving if you water a bit too often
• Encourage healthier root development
They’re not mandatory, just a tool that can make things easier early on.
🌱 General observations
• Environment looks solid 👍
• Temps and RH are in a good range
• Light intensity seems reasonable for a seedling
One thing I’d add: less is more in week 1.
Let her establish roots first before pushing anything.
Most important part though 👇
Don’t be afraid of mistakes. They’re not failures, they’re lessons. Every grower who’s confident today killed a plant yesterday.
Follow what makes you feel more secure, observe the plant, adjust slowly, and enjoy the process. That’s how real experience is built.
You’re doing good. Growers Love and Keep going 🌱
