wolfvb Week 2: The Stretch & The Stabilizing 📏 The Vibe: We made it to Week 2! After the initial stretch, she is settling in. This micro-grow is definitely teaching me patience and precision. Growing in a small pot is a whole different ball game compared to the big tents! Addressing the Height: As pointed out by the community (thanks @squalino ), she was reaching a bit too much for the light. I'm working on managing the distance better now to stop her from turning into a beanstalk. I have prop her up to get her closer to the source until the big girls in the tent are harvested. Regarding the watering problem now I water them from the plate holding the pot and she sucks what she need, been working good for now. Care Routine: Watering: Taking the "less is more" advice to heart. With only 1 liter of substrate, the line between "thirsty" and "drowned" is thin. Lifting the pot daily to check the weight before adding a drop! ⚖️ Nutrients: Keeping it very light with the Bio-Grow and Root-Juice. Goal: Stop the stretch and get those roots established!

wolfvb Week Update: Staying Small but Strong! 🥦 We are officially moving into Week 4, and the Sticky Broccoli Automatic is living up to the "Micro" name! She’s sitting at about [Insert New Height] cm now. The node spacing is super tight, which is exactly what I’m aiming for in this tiny setup. Growth: Leaves are looking a deep, healthy green. I’m starting to see the first signs of pre-flower pistils tucked away in the nodes. Feeding: Sticking with the BioBizz and Plagron regimen. She’s handling the nutrients well with no signs of burnt tips. Environment: Keeping the Agyrochy LEDs close to maintain that compact structure. 18/6 light cycle is working perfectly. Looking forward to seeing how much she "shrinks" (or stretches) as we head toward flower! Steady progress this week! The Sticky Broccoli is looking very happy and healthy. Plan: Continuing LST to keep her low and wide. Thanks for following along on this micro journey!

wolfvb Week 4 - Finding Her Groove! 🥦 We have officially hit the one-month mark! The Sticky Broccoli is starting to fill out nicely. I’m noticing much more vigor in the new leaf sets, and the internodal spacing is staying nice and tight perfect for this micro-setup. I've been keeping up with BioBizz regimen, and she seems to be loving the nutrients. No signs of stress or deficiencies so far. The Agyrochy LED is dialed in, and the tent environment is holding steady. Seeing some great lateral growth starting to peek through!

wolfvb Week 6 - Dialing in the LST and Managing the Fade 🍁 Description: We are officially in Week 6! This week has been all about canopy management. I’ve continued with the Low Stress Training (LST) to pull the main stem down and expose those lower nodes to more light. You can see in the photos how she’s starting to bush out horizontally rather than just shooting up. I am noticing a bit of yellowing and some "rust" spots on the older fan leaves. I’m currently checking my pH levels to make sure I’m not hitting a lockout. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the new growth to ensure the nitrogen levels are where they need to be as we prep for the flip to flower soon.

wolfvb Week 7 Update: Welcome to the Jungle! (Flowering has officially begun) General Observations: Week 7 is here, and the stretch is on! The plant has officially transitioned into the flowering phase. As you can see from the photos, bud sites are developing rapidly all over the plant, and there is an explosion of white pistils (hairs) at every top. The plant seems incredibly happy and vigorous right now. Training & Canopy Management: The Low Stress Training (LST) has been paying off massively. You can see in the close-up shots how the green LST clips and wire ties have successfully kept the main stem bent and the canopy even. Because of this, multiple colas are reaching the top of the canopy and getting an equal share of the light. The stems are thickening up nicely to support the future buds. I'm keeping a close eye on the clips and wires to ensure they aren't choking the stems as they grow thicker. Plant Health: Overall health is excellent. The foliage is a lush, dark green, indicating that nitrogen levels have been solid through the vegetative stage. No major signs of stress, pests, or deficiencies. The leaves are praying upwards, which means she is loving the light and current environmental conditions. Next Steps for this Week: Nutrients: Now that she is heavily developing flowers, I will be adjusting/continuing the bloom nutrients to give her the Phosphorus and Potassium (P-K) she needs to swell those buds, while slowly easing off the Nitrogen. (Edit this part based on your actual feeding schedule) Defoliation: I might do some very light defoliation of the lower, shaded leaves that aren't getting light, just to improve airflow and direct the plant's energy strictly to the top colas, but I don't want to stress her out too much during the stretch. Environment: Keeping humidity in check as the bud sites get denser to prevent any future issues. Looking forward to seeing these little puffballs swell up over the next few weeks! Happy growing! 🌱✌️

wolfvb Canopy Management & Flower Stacking 🥦 Overview: Day 56! While we are technically in Week 8 since germination, this Sticky Broccoli Automatic is currently in its prime flowering stretch. The plant is looking incredibly healthy and vibrant. The training has paid off, and I have a beautiful, even canopy across the micro-space. Plant Development: Flowers: We are seeing massive "pom-pom" development. The white pistils are long and reaching for the light, indicating that the buds are still actively growing in size and haven't started their final ripening yet. Structure: My LST clips (the red and green trainers) are doing a fantastic job keeping the height under control. I’ve managed to keep the canopy flat, ensuring every bud site gets maximum light from the Agyrochy LEDs. Health: The leaves are a deep, rich green. There is some very minor variegation/spotting on a few leaves (as seen in the close-ups), but nothing that looks like a major deficiency likely just the plant working hard. Feeding & Environment: Nutrients: Since she’s still pushing out new white hairs, I’m sticking with a full bloom schedule (Plagron/BioBizz). She needs that Phosphorus and Potassium right now to build density. Training: I’m doing minor adjustments to the clips to make sure no bud sites are shaded by fan leaves. Grower’s Note: "It’s a lesson in patience! Even though the clock is ticking, the plant tells the real story. She’s not ready for the harvest talk yet; she’s busy building the foundation for some fat colas. The 'micro' aspect is working perfectly she's bushy, wide, and staying low."

wolfvb 🌸 Week 9 Update: Stacking Buds and a Beautiful Canopy! ❄️ 🌿 Week Update: Let the magic happen! ? Welcome to the latest update! This girl is well into her flowering phase and those bud sites are really starting to pop. All the training from the earlier weeks is totally paying off now, giving us a fantastic, even spread of flowers. The Details: Development: The buds are stacking up beautifully at every node! We have an explosion of fresh, white pistils shooting out everywhere. If you look closely at the sugar leaves, you can already see the trichome production kicking into gear. She is putting all her energy right where we want it into making those dense flowers. Structure: Her structure is looking fantastic. You can see in the close-ups just how thick and sturdy those stems have gotten! The green LST ties did their job perfectly, keeping her open and allowing light to penetrate all the way down to those middle and lower bud sites. Having her elevated on her little box throne is keeping her canopy right at the perfect height with the rest of the tent. 👑 Health: Overall health is solid. The foliage is a deep, rich green, showing she's eating well. There is just a tiny hint of tip burn on a few of the older fan leaves, but that is super normal when pushing bloom nutrients and nothing to stress about at all. She looks vigorous, happy, and fully in the zone! Next Steps: I'll keep up with her bloom feeding schedule and monitor her water intake they get super thirsty when they are plumping up like this! For now, it's mostly about keeping the environment stable and watching the frost build up. Happy Growing !!! 🥦☀️

wolfvb What's up, GrowDiaries fam! 💚 Welcome back to another update! 🚀 She is well into the flowering stage now and putting on a beautiful show! As you can see in the pictures, she's staying relatively compact in her smaller pot but making absolute the most of it. 🌿 Development & Structure: Look at those beautiful white pistils standing straight up! ❄️ The bud sites are really starting to stack and multiply at every node. I’ve still got her tied down with the green garden wire around the rim of the pot this LST has been crucial for keeping her canopy opened up so the light can penetrate deep down to those lower branches. She’s got a great, bushy structure going! Update: the run off with crazy hight 8900ppm ?☠️ she was basically in salty sea, I had to water them with just water until the run off went down to 800. 💧 Nutrient & Water Log: She is eating and drinking at a great pace right now. The foliage is a mostly deep, rich green. We do have some red/purple stems showing up and a tiny bit of yellowing/spotting on a couple of the older lower fan leaves, but nothing major to stress over. I'm just keeping her dialed in, making sure the pH is on point so she can focus all her energy on fattening up those buds! 🍽️💪 ⛺ Environment & Health: Overall health is solid and she is loving the tent conditions. Airflow is great, and she’s starting to produce that lovely, sweet sticky aroma. Plus, I’ve got the trusty tattooed Kewpie dolls keeping a close watch over her from the shelf in the background! 👶👀 You can see she's sharing the space with a younger sibling in the back, but she is definitely the star of the show right now. Can't wait to watch these colas really start to swell and get frosty over the next couple of weeks. Let me know what you guys think in the comments! Happy growing and stay frosty! 🌲🔥

wolfvb 🌿 Week 11 Update: Swelling, Frosting, & Fading! 🥦❄️ We are deep into the late flowering phase, and the Sticky Broccoli Automatic is putting in some serious work! The tent is smelling absolutely incredible, and the buds are getting chunkier by the day. 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Flower Development: If you look closely at the bud sites in the macro shots, the trichome production is kicking into high gear! ❄️ We still have a lot of fresh white pistils reaching out, which means she is still actively swelling and packing on weight. The Fade: You can clearly see a beautiful natural fade happening on the larger fan leaves. The yellowing is exactly what we want to see at this stage as she starts cannibalizing herself, pushing all her remaining energy and nutrients straight into those dense colas. 🍂 Colors: I'm starting to spot some really nice subtle purple hues developing on the calyxes and sugar leaves. Absolutely gorgeous contrast against the frost! 💜 Structure: True to the "Micro" grow name, she stayed nice and compact but is stacking those bud sites tightly. The plant is extremely manageable but dense where it counts. 💧 Feeding & Environment: Continuing to push the bloom boosters (like the Plagron PK 13-14 / Green Sensation) to ensure these colas have everything they need to swell up to their max potential. I'm keeping a close eye on the humidity and making sure airflow is on point as these clusters get thicker, keeping moisture buildup away is key. 📸 What's Next? She still has some time left to fatten up, as those white pistils still need to curl in and transition. Going to keep a close eye on the trichome heads over the next week. The terpene profile is getting incredibly loud (that classic sweet & spicy aroma), and I can't wait to see how she finishes! Let's grow! 🌱💚

wolfvb 🌱 Week 12: Frosty, Purple, and Fading Beautifully! ❄️💜 What's up, GrowDiaries fam! 💚 Welcome to Week 12! We are deep into the late stages of flowering, and she is putting on an absolute show right now. The finish line is so close I can almost smell it! Bud Development & Colors 💜❄️ Just look at those close-ups! The bud structure is incredibly dense, and the calyxes are swelling up beautifully. But the real star of the show right now is the color and the frost. She is pushing out these stunning, deep purple almost black hues on the sugar leaves that look incredible against the bright orange pistils. And the trichome production? Absolutely insane. She looks like she’s been rolled in powdered sugar! The Beautiful Fade 🍂 You’ll notice some heavy yellowing on the lower fan leaves in the photos. Don't panic this is perfectly natural senescence (the "fade") for Week 12! She knows her time is almost up, so she’s pulling all those mobile nutrients stored in the lower leaves and channeling 100% of her energy straight into fattening up those main colas. The Final Countdown ⏳ The LST work definitely paid off, as the canopy is supporting some serious weight right now. I am incredibly proud of how she's finishing up. Let me know what you guys think of these late-flower colors in the comments! Happy growing and happy impending harvests, everyone! ✌️💨

wolfvb 🌱 Deep Purples, Heavy Frost, and the Final Swell! 💜❄️ What's up, GrowDiaries fam! 💚 Welcome to Week 13! We are getting so incredibly close to the finish line with this girl, and she is an absolute visual treat right now. Colors & Calyx Swell 💜🔥 Just look at the close-ups in the photos this week! The calyxes are swelling up beautifully, giving the colas that incredibly chunky, stacked structure. But the real highlight is the color progression. Those deep, dark purples are really pushing through on the sugar leaves and calyxes, creating a gorgeous contrast with the bright frost. The trichome production is off the charts she is completely caked! The Beautiful Fade 🍂 You can clearly see the natural fade (senescence) kicking into high gear. The larger fan leaves are yellowing and dropping off as the plant redirects 100% of her remaining energy and mobile nutrients straight into fattening up those buds. At Week 13, this heavy yellowing is exactly what we want to see as she finishes her life cycle. Harvest Watch ⏳ She is still pushing a few fresh white pistils, but the majority are beginning to darken and curl inward. I am so stoked about how this run is finishing up. Let me know what you guys think of those purple hues in the comments! Happy growing, and may your harvests be heavy! ✌️💨

wolfvb 🌿 Deep Purples & The Final Fade! 🥦💜 Welcome to Week 14! The Sticky Broccoli Automatic is an absolute showstopper right now. We are deep into the final stages, and she is showing off some incredible colors while putting all her remaining energy into those chunky colas. 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Color Explosion: Just look at those macro shots! The buds have developed a gorgeous, deep violet/purple hue that looks absolutely stunning underneath that thick, heavy layer of frosty white trichomes. The contrast is beautiful. ❄️💜 Totally different from her sister is it the training or just a different phenotype, anyway loving it. The Final Fade: Heavy senescence is in full effect. You can see the fan leaves aggressively yellowing and crisping up at the edges. This is textbook late-flower behavior she is cannibalizing every last drop of stored nutrients from her leaves to push maximum density into the flowers. 🍂 Bud Density & Ripening: She is basically one solid, heavy chunk of flower at this point. The pistils have mostly darkened to a rich orange/brown and curled inward, and the calyxes are swollen tight. True to her micro nature, she stayed tiny in that little pot but yielded an incredibly impressive bud-to-plant ratio! 💧 Next Steps: We are right at the finish line! At this stage, it's all about strictly monitoring the trichome heads under a loupe or microscope to look for that perfect ratio of cloudy-to-amber. I'll be keeping her strictly on water to finish flushing her out until chop day. Almost time for the harvest! Let's grow! 🌱✂️

wolfvb 🌿 Frost Warning & The Final Countdown! 🥦❄️⏳ Welcome to Week 15! The Sticky Broccoli Automatic has reached her final form. She is looking absolutely incredible, and we are officially in the harvest window. 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Trichome Check: Those extreme macro shots (especially the first few) are exactly what we want to see right now. The trichome heads are looking milky, cloudy, and packed together like a blanket of snow, with the pistils almost entirely browned and curled tightly inward. 🔎❄️ Deep Purples: The color transition is complete. The calyxes are sporting incredibly rich, dark purple and violet hues that contrast beautifully against the thick white resin and the orange hairs. 💜 Peak Senescence: Looking at the full-plant shots, the final fade is in full effect. The fan leaves have almost entirely yellowed out and are getting crispy as she cannibalizes every last drop of stored energy to fatten up those dense colas. She has given everything she has to the flowers! 🍂 Bud Structure: She is just one solid chunk of heavy, frosty buds. Considering the size of the pot she is in, the density and yield potential she managed to pack on is super impressive. 💧 Next Steps: It is chop time! ? At this stage, no more water is needed. The next step is simply taking her down, giving her a careful trim, and getting her hung up for a slow, steady dry. I can already tell the bag appeal and terpene profile on these purple nugs are going to be top-tier. Almost to the finish line! Let's get ready for harvest! 🌱💨

This one was on the purple side unlike her sister, but both are easy going and strong genetics Harvest Day: Sticky Broccoli Micro is Down! ️ The day is finally here! After weeks of swelling, frosting, and fading, the Sticky Broccoli Automatic has officially been chopped. She was an absolute pleasure to run and put on an incredible colorful show right at the finish line. ️ The Harvest Stats: Wet Weight: We hit the scale at exactly 162.1g wet! For a micro run in such a small pot, I am absolutely thrilled with that yield. She packed all her energy into those dense clusters. Bud Quality: The density and bag appeal are unreal. She's rocking beautiful deep violet and purple hues under a thick, frosty blanket of trichomes, and the terp profile in the room right now is ridiculously loud. Into the Dry Room: She got a quick wet trim to remove those large, faded yellow fan leaves and is now hanging upside down in the tent. You can spot the DryRocket in the background getting to work and keeping the drying environment perfectly dialed in! (Speaking of which, today is the final day for the DryRocket giveaway, so congrats for the winner ! ) Now comes the hardest part of every grow: the waiting game. I'll be monitoring the dry closely over the next week or so before trimming her up fully and moving these beautiful purple nugs into jars for the cure. Dry weight and smoke report coming soon! Let's grow!

Plastic pots retain more moisture in my experience, they also cause the roots to not breathe effectively in my opinion. I would recommend lifting the pot before watering to avoid saturating the roots.

@Organic473, yeah I will be moving completely to fabric pots from my next cycle. I ran test and really like them and pineapple Express F1 really love it.

@Turtleinweed, thanks learning a lot from this grow already, like better watering technique.. with such a small pot it's hard to mange the watering

@wolfvb, yeah, I start in 500 ml plastic cups. Golden rule for me: less is more.

I wish you much success with your project. My experiences with stabilizing plants have been rather negative. Nowadays, I stabilize such problem children with some soil and/or press them deeper into the ground. I always ensure they wobble a bit in the airflow to strengthen themselves naturally. For me, it was always less light or too much distance.😅 Fingers crossed that your lady develops nicely!

@Irrai, thanks buddy 😁 we just learn and give them the love they need. Mostly for me they die because I smother them with over care. So now I let them do there thing 😁 and it's been working good.

Hey my Buddy this will be a fun one hehehe Thanks for sharing your diary, I actually really like the idea of a micro-grow experiment. Those small projects teach us a lot. Just my humble opinion, based on what I see and my own mistakes over the years: 💧 Watering (the most common trap early on) You already mentioned you may have overwatered the first seedling, and honestly, that happens to almost everyone at the beginning. At this stage, it’s much better to slightly underwater than to overwater. Seedlings don’t drink much yet, they mostly need oxygen at the roots, not constant moisture. A good rule early on: • Water around the seedling, not directly on the stem • Let the top layer dry a bit before watering again • Roots will search for water and get stronger that way Pot choice (small tip that helps a lot) Your pot works, no problem, plastic pots can absolutely grow healthy plants 👍 That said, if overwatering is something you struggle with (especially when excited at the start), small fabric pots can be a lifesaver. Fabric pots: • Dry more evenly • Are more forgiving if you water a bit too often • Encourage healthier root development They’re not mandatory, just a tool that can make things easier early on. 🌱 General observations • Environment looks solid 👍 • Temps and RH are in a good range • Light intensity seems reasonable for a seedling One thing I’d add: less is more in week 1. Let her establish roots first before pushing anything. Most important part though 👇 Don’t be afraid of mistakes. They’re not failures, they’re lessons. Every grower who’s confident today killed a plant yesterday. Follow what makes you feel more secure, observe the plant, adjust slowly, and enjoy the process. That’s how real experience is built. You’re doing good. Growers Love and Keep going 🌱
