Hudson2384 My germination process thankfully gone a lot better than my last run. I only had a few dudes one of which was caused by me. The GDP for what ever reason was very high 6 out of 7 popped. I'm so happy I'm going to have A LOT of GDP down the road. The Sluricane was at a similar rate. I soaked 4 seeds and 3 popped however I tried to help a stubborn seed with it's shell to no avail. The one strain I am really looking forward to growing again is the Green Crack X MAC. I soaked 5 and got 3. Meh. They were cheap seeds anyways. Praying I have at least 2 girls out of the bunch. We shall see. Got my tent mostly clean just have to add a few touches but I have to say were off to the races. I'm also looking forward to the Sluricane it's always nice to throw a curve ball in your garden.

Hudson2384 Okay so last weekend I transplanted 5 plants from their solo's. 1 Slurricane 1 Green Crack x MAC and 3 GDP. I did use a bit of micro during the transplant. The other's can stay in solo cups for now. I suspect I will transplant maybe 3 by next weekend and hopefully my smallest GDP will come around to a transplant in about 10 or 12 days. So far so good. You can also see my new toy the ac infinity humidifier. It does the job for a 5x5 in the dead of winter. Mind you your gonna have to refill the unit every 12 hours so you may want to invest in a bigger unit. It came out to just over 100 CAD so not bad.

Hudson2384 So I transplanted 4 3gal pots last weekend. I have 2 more 3 gal containers to fill. Kinda pissed I'm 6 gal short but hopefully my local grow store will come to the rescue with a 7 gal bag. I really don't want to buy another bail. As a result I still have 2 cups that have yet to be transplanted. Some how some way I want these fems to get into a pot. The 2nd Slurricane I have is coming off a bit off. The last GDP Looks short but solid. Hopefully I will rectify this error in my soil calculation. Normally I would just buy another bail in anticipation of my next grow but I have to do some repairs to my home and I might need to move. 2026 is probably the year of change. Hopefully it will work out but from spring to the end of summer I definitely won't be growing. But on the lighter things of life I topped some of my GDP. Like last time they responded very well. as you can see in the pictures. Going to top all the GDP. My 1 Slurricane that is transplanted I am trying LST. Didn't want to top as it's my first run and this maybe the only plant I have at harvest. Like I said the solo cup one is a bit off and I am dealing with a new local breeder with this one. As for the Green Crack x MAC all 3 are transplanted. I'm hoping 3 will be female but I'll be happy with 2. I topped 1 yesterday to see how it would react. Since this is my 2nd run I noticed this was a very strong plant so I figured why not. As for my training methods I used to be big on LST but for some reason it hasn't worked well with the strains I've been growing. Not to mention it's a pain in the ass. I might stick with topping. I know it stunts the growth a bit but for me I like a very even canopy. Hopefully in 30 days we flip we shall see.

Hudson2384 Okay so I'm posting a tad early however I figured there won't be much action in the garden for a while I might as well post. Last weekend marks a milestone as I was able to transplant the last two plants over the weekend. Those being Slurricane 2 and my 6th GDP plant. I finally got around to getting a 7 gal bag of pro mix hp. I seriously thought I hade enough of a bail left over from my previous run to get them all filled. But that's okay it was a cheap bag and it gave me a good excuse to go to my local hydro store. Re upped on Cal Mag and mycroryzaie. A nice 50 CAD quick visit. So far our plant count sit's at 11. 6 GDP 2 Slurricane and 3 Green Crack x MAC. I fully expect that plant count to dwindle as I sex out the GCM. Speaking of the GCM it doesn't seem to respond well to topping so I am trying LST on another plant. The third I have yet to touch as I'm waiting to see how the other plants are responding to training. The GDP's will be the main strain of this run. I have topped nearly all of them. All of which seem to be responding very well to topping. Even the under branching is pulling out. That's why I like GDP it's a nice bushy plant to train. The Slurricane's are probably the one strain that is a tad on the ropes. It's 1st plant is doing very well. Slowly responding to LST. However it's sister is lagging behind despite the fact that they were germinated at the same time. Not to mention SL 2 seems to be coming out weird. We shall see as the week progresses as to how well it transplanted. As for the environment it has improved. January was one cold dry and miserable month. My humidifier ran non stop. Thankfully the weather is starting to turn a bit for the better. My humidifier is not running at full speed 247 so I have a measurable amount of water left when I check in the morning / evening. Humidity is around 57-60%. I'm a bit unsure as my humidifier and in line fan have a variance of 3% Also today I just gave my first watering to 2 plants. Most are still to damp to water. I will be upping the nutes in about 5-7 whenever those original plants need to get hit again. I've been feeding pretty much non stop since seedling stage so I feel a bit of a break maybe warranted. So far the plan is to veg these ladies out till the end of February. Then we shall prep for a spring harvest.

Hudson2384 So most of my crop has been watered and not fed. Some of the plants will require a boost in nutrients next week. There has been a bit of spotting on some plants but nothing I can't handle. The topping is going well with the GDP. LST on the Slurricane seems to be doing good. The GCM however is a bit harder to train as she is very bushy. Biggest plants are about a foot tall. Didn't really do a formal measure. Some plants are bigger than others but the canopy seems to be doing just fine. With all things considered I will probably flip by the end of the month. The weather is finally starting to thaw as we are getting above freezing temps and hopefully less snow. I have to dial down my humidifier now and that's a very good thing. As you can see from the pics it will be cleaned this long weekend. I also upped my inline fan to max speed. With that and turning on my clip fan the soil in my plants should dry out a tad quicker than 7=10 days between feed/water. My light has been turned up to 40% and will stay that way for the next week as I normally do 10% increases per week in veg. Other than that hope you are thawing out as well and hopefully we'll have an early spring.

Hudson2384 So I do apologize for my late post this week. It seems we have a bit of a bump with two plants and a bit of spotting another two. No big deal some plants are more hungry than others and don't take as well to the watering. My two smallest plants SL2 and GDP6 both have tip burn from either transplant shock or excess nutes, Either way I just watered them. There very dark green so I imagine they'll be fine. Other than that little bump things have been going well. Plant training seems to be taking shape. The LST worked well on SL1. The GDP responds well to topping and it shows in the pictures. I did a heavy defoliation on all plants tonight. It will help with air flow so they dry out a tad quicker. I don't mind going a few days without hitting them but when it stretches to a week and above I get a little concerned. RH is very stable now that we seemed to moved on from -20C temperatures. My humidifier isn't working overtime and that's a good thing. As for my nutrients I have upped them to a mid dose. I plan to water the following cycle then finish with a full dose. I will also be introducing honey chome to my feed for the last of the grow nutrients full strength dose. This will take place over the coarse of two weeks so. Our ideal canopy heigh is slowly getting there. Most plants are even but there are always a few scraglers when starting from seed.

Hudson2384 Well this is the final post for veg because I just switched the time to 12/12 a few hours ago. The plants will still get a full strength veg for the next few days after which nutrients will be switched to bloom. Almost all my GDP's were at their target canopy height. So based on that I decided to flip. They all look really healthy. I'm excited especially for GDP 6 as it topped beautify. It will be a short bush but ya gotta love it's nodal spread. The slurricane's seem to be two different phenotypes, One with the thick leave the other with thin. Both are healthy and SL 1 really responded well to LST. The Green Crack x MAC is doing very well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 3 ladies. We shall see as flowering progresses. RH has become more stable now that the winter seems to be abating. Which is really nice. I really hate having to drive in the snow with the scared and moronic. It also saves a lot of refills on my humidifier. It's been mostly out of action this week. Needless to say I am glad we have passed the veg stage. The seeds have been soaking since mid December which is plenty for a grow this size. Anyways last thing I did was pest scout and didn't find anything. Onward!

Hudson2384 So this has been the first week of flower. I am just about to cut off grow nutrients and next post I will be using the bloom base plus a PK booster. The two Slurricanes are doing well. Both are very different pheno types and I'm concerned for SL2. I gave her a hair cut but even in veg she looks a lot different than her cousin. I will be keeping a close eye on her over the next few weeks. As for the GDP's they are doing great. I'm grateful for the ease of topping these ladies. GDP 6 in particular is very beautiful with an incredible nodal spread. I know out of all the plants she won't produce much but still sometimes the runts are the the surprise of the grow. Finally the GCM are progressing. I have yet to sext the out but I have a feeling it will be 2 females. Fingers crossed. Enjoy the pics.

Hudson2384 And then there were 9. Sad I know but please let me explain. As you probably know the Green Crack x MAC is regular seed and with three plants I expected at least 1 male. To no surprise 2 out of 3 were female. So 1 plant was down. However the 2nd plant that I was to cull was the Slurricane 2. It's growth structure did not inspire confidence in me that she would not herm out on me. She was growing vastly different than her Slurricane 1 cousin. Her nodal expressions as well gave me a deep concern. So I decided to bite the bullet and take the precaution of culling SL 2. I am also dealing with a new and unknown breeder so we'll see how this turns out. The SL1 on the other hand is turning out very well and I'm excited to see it take shape. Anyways 9 always seems to be the sweet spot for me personally. The GDP's are doing very well and they are reliable seed. The 2 GCM's that I have left are small but are starting to stretch out very well. I also had to do a few hair cuts for my plants for better light penetration and air movement. RH seems to be pretty stable. I have switched to Bloom for my base now. I have only fed 1 plant so far but over the next few days I will be feeding. Other than that the transition seems to have gone well looking forward to posting next week.

Hudson2384 We are now officially one third the way into flower and were looking good. Plants have plenty of space. The small plants I decided to put them on box risers so they can get a decent amount of PPFD. There stressing out a tad but are within manufactures specs. I have the light at 90% since we are nearing the half way point of flower. The GDP is perhaps doing the best out of all the strains currently. Plants are 2 feet tall with plenty of nodal spread. I really like this strain and it has been my go to strain since my last harvest, It will probably be the first to run out but thankfully I won't have to wait long for another batch. Not to mention I have plenty of other strains to choose from. The 1 Slurricane that survived is thriving just like her GDP cousin's. Great nodal spread and her bud sites are developing fast. The Green Crack x MAC are fairly bushy and squatty plants but all 2 look very healthy and happy. I just introduced Thick buds to my feeding schedule. I know 5ML per L may seem excessive but it's a super cheap PK booster that get's the job done as you can see from a previous harvest. Cost me 40 CAD for a Gallon of this stuff. Thankfully at the rate I'm using my base emerald harvest nutrients I should have plenty for another run. Not to mention I still have plenty of HC kicking around. Other than some standard pruning it's been a good week

Hudson2384 This week has been very smooth. I decided to lower the riser for the middle GDP6 plant. I think it was a bit to close to the light as it threw on a bunch of frost early and it's faded in color a bit. So down an inch or two won't hurt it. Buds are really starting to develop on all plants. GDP being in the main stable in my grow are doing very well. Some have surpassed 2 feet and I expect to get at least 2 oz off of most of the plants. The exception being 6 since it was late to the game. My one Slurricane is doing well and showing excellent bud development. No signs of inter sex traits. I have a few beans left of it so I might give it a go next run. The two GCM plants are doing well and are starting to smell like cookies. I have recently upped my base nutrients to full strength. I did add the Thick Buds in the previous week but forgot to list it. This is a basic PK booster that most people will use in flower. It's cheaper than getting King Kola. 40 CAD for a gallon. Where as I would pay 50 for a single Liter of King Kola. I'm actually very good for nutrients right now. I have maybe another 2 weeks left of a feeding window and I still have 2 sets of base for both grow and bloom. Couple that with my massive jug of Honey Chome it looks like my next run will be covered by the nutrient stash I have now. Did some minor defoliation but at this point I like to lay off of it. Spring is offically here which means more moisture. RH has been in the mid to upper 50s which is not bad. I'm also glad I'll be taking a break in the summer cause I hate to use my dehumidifier. It cost a lot of money to run that dam thing. I might use it during the drying period but I try to avoid using it due to cost issues. Currently were about 60% done the flower phase and I'm looking forward to the chop and a nice relaxing summer ahead. Onward!

Hudson2384 We are no 60% done with flowering. Tricombs are coming very frosty. The stretch has finally stopped and the plants are now in the fattening stage. GDP is doing well. Pretty much all the plants including my runt GDP6. It's frosty as fuck but I think it was due to the fact that it was directly under the light and very close. Tricomb production is not just what I want it's also the plants defense mechanism for it to protect itself from strong sunlight. She is looking stunning along side her two GCM sisters to the left and right. Speaking the Green Crack x MAC both are frosting up like they were in my last run. It's to bad there not bigger than they are cause this is a very delicious and unique strains I have ever grown. Were only at week 5 imagine what it will look like when I chop it down. The last but not least is the Slurricane. She is also getting frosty and is as big as her GDP counter parts. It's sad that I had to whack out her sister but like I said the plant itself was not developing properly and since this is a new breeder I was using I wanted to exercise caution. So far this one has impressed me Reverse Genetics. Let's see how she comes out. As for nutrients we are now at full blast. We have a 2 week period left of feeding. Right now most of my plants are due for a watering so that should leave 1 more feed before I start to leach. Going to be using a chelter for this one. But all in all it's been a fairly easy grow cross my fingers and knock on wood. Looking forward to taking the summer off.

Hudson2384 This week has been very uneventful other than the fact that I just did the bulk of my last feed. I have just one more plant to feed and that's it. In fact my last pair of base I one touched once this run so I will have more than enough for another run and possibly 2. I will be taking a break this summer and possibly for a little longer. I may have to move. We shall see. Either I will start posting in the fall or winter time if I have to pack up camp. GDP's are doing great. They all seem to be on the same page. Some have more frost than others. My smallest run is the frostiest. It's the one in the middle. Green Crack x MAC are coming in frosty as well but it's sad they didn't stretch as much as I thought they would this time around. The Slurricane is by far the shiniest and has a distinct chemy smell to it. It was really worth the effort to grow this girl out. Looking forward to throwing her in the Volcano. All the pics you see are from the past several days. Once that last plant is fed I've cut off the nutrients and have begun the process of leeching / flushing. I will be making one last grow post before my chop and harvest results which will be posted once it's in the jar.

Hudson2384 Well this is it. Take a beautiful look at the fall colors in April. LOL But seriously this will be my last post before harvest. When I do post it will be a few weeks from now. Once the bud has a decent cure to it. The only new strain I'll be enjoying is the Slurricane which I am a big fan of from the dispensaries. I always know I can grow better and the smell from this plant is giving me chills down my spine. I rarely post anything personal but this being my final report for a long time I feel I owe who ever read's these an explanation as to fewer diaries. The first is health related. I am now in my 40s and in relatively good health. That being said I want to keep it that way. About 6 months ago a friend offered me their Classic Volcano due to the fact that I was hacking up a lot of lung butter from all the joints I was smoking. Ever since I brought that thing home with me I've been using it non stop. As a result I am using far less weed than I would smoking joints. So now I'm not using at as fast a rate I don't need to do 3 or 4 grows per year. Keeping in mind if I don't move I'll probably tone it down to 2. I would like to focus more on gym time than garden time. Hopefully I can shave a few pounds off in the summer. Okay with that out of the way here is the usual round up of my strains. GDP All plants are looking healthy and shiny to varying degrees. My runt of the litter GDP6 is by far the shiniest and purplist. If that is even a word. With 6 plants I would say min 8 oz to max 12. I love this strain it's so good for evenings and sleep. 34 Street Seed Co you did it again. Very good consistency. I wish I could say the same for your "og kush". But not all hits can be home runs. At least your shit doesn't herm like your competitors. Looking forward with what else you got going down the pipe line. Green Crack x MAC by Jordan of the Island. Normally I prefer to use feminized seed. However JOTI believes in keeping most of their genetics in regular old school format. Which is why I was so slow to use this pack despite it being in my collection for a few years before I used some on a whim my last run. I really enjoyed and still to this day enjoy GCM. This run I popped them the same time as the GDP. Be ware this strain needs plenty of veg time cause these plants aren't close to their GDP counter parts. However I grow for quality not quantity. Don't get me wrong if a strain like Blueberry Muffin doesn't yield well I won't grow it again. But TRUE OG KUSH!? Bro I don't mind the low yield on that one. It packs a super punch us med users need. I will be luck to get 3 oz off of 2 plants. But those are the breaks. However having squeezed both plants they smell delicious. Very strong genetics. Very happy even though I 1 was a male. That's the only down side to regs. People with low plant counts can't afford to use them. Glad I can grow plenty. Last but not least is the Slurricane by Reverse Genetics. Anytime Slurricane is on them menu at my dispo I will snatch it up. So trying RG for the first time was a bit of a gamble but I think it will pay off. They must be a local breeder because there hard to find info on. If memory serves me right Mr.Canuck on youtubne has grown their genetics but I know he lives close to me. Anyone else using Reverse Genetics let me know. So I managed to pop 2 beans and 1 plant grew out mutated. The other is one of the prettiest gals of the bunch. I culled it's ugly sister because of fears of a herm. However seeing how beautiful the other was I feel I should pop the last 2 beans I have in my stash. The final verdict will be once I vape this stuff. Thank you so much for reading my diary looking forward to posting my results in a bit.

The hard hitting chemy sweet taste of Slurricane. Growing it was fairly easy however my 2 plants only one got to harvest. The second wasn't looking so hot so I culled it. But never the less I'm happy to use the last 2 I have. Let's see where round 2 will take us.

Hudson2384 What can I say I had a neutral experience growing this thing out. It's smokes just like the dispensary stuff but slightly better. I originally had 2 plans but the second one looked like it was going to herm out. This one was very stable and did not herm out at all. I got 1 and a half ounces so not bad.

Quite the great grapy danky bud with density. I have had some great sucsess with this strain and I am very happy to have yet another harvest. Pick this up at your local dispensary you won't regret it. Got roughly 1.5 to 2 oz per plant

Hudson2384 A very reliable strain and seed breeder. If you have a chance to pick up 34 street co at your local dispensary do it. Reasonably priced and they did not show any kind of herming at all. Great strain for sleep pain and insomnia. Had 2 or 3 phones of this stuff and they all turned out nicely.

Holly crap I have done it again. Been getting good fem to male ratio with this one. All the plants I have grown out have had at least 60 days from sprout. Dispite this fact they are very bushy and do not stretch that much. That's ok I got 2 oz's off them anyways. From the creamy sweet cookies taste to the Green Crack buzz everything about this strain just screams me.

Hudson2384 Thank you JOTI for this incredibly unique and interesting cross. It's funny how no one had thought to cross Green Crack with MAC or Miracle Alien Cookies. Might toss some beans in next run. We'll see what happens.

I finished Frozen Marker from Reverse and the Endprodukt is fire. Real Chemical Marker Terps with a bit Girl Scout Cookies but only in the Nose. GreenGlasses my Growbro Harvested Fr. Marker from the same Seedpack and his Lady was very sililar in terps, looks and Potency. Great Breeding job. Now GreenGlasses runs a Icy status from Reverse and it looks dire too. Yoe asked about Reverse and thats my experience. Check the Ladies out you'll see some beautys. Happy Smoketest.
