EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝 Another report kicking off. This time it’s the same strain, KUST, phenotype K15. I honestly don’t remember what exactly set this pheno apart from the others — so we’ll figure it out as it grows. Only one plant made it this round, so this will be a close, detailed run from start to finish. Stay tuned for updates.

EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝 Update on K15 F4. This run follows the same pattern as K16 F4. The plant was started in a small container, later transplanted into a 2.5L pot, left on drip irrigation, and handled the transition perfectly. This phenotype also shows deformed, wrinkled leaves with fused, wide leaf fingers that partially stick together. At the same time, it clearly expresses the KUST phenotype — strong bushiness, rotating leaves, and the characteristic leaf orientation. I performed defoliation and switched the plant to flower.

EVD420 During this reporting period, K15 underwent standard structural maintenance. The plant was defoliated and topped to regulate height and preserve structure. It has been transitioned into flowering. Phenotype observations: • Continues to show a strong K-type expression. • Exhibits the most pronounced leaf rotation within the group — some leaves are rotated up to 180° opposite the light source, creating a very distinctive visual effect. • Most leaves display 5 fingers, consistent across the plant. At this stage, K15 stands out for its clear structural identity and extreme leaf orientation behavior. Now entering the flowering observation phase.

EVD420 During this reporting period, flowering initiation was confirmed. The plant has shown clear female pre-flowers, marking the official start of the flowering count. No additional structural interventions were required this week. The plant has recovered well after the previous pruning and topping, showing healthy regrowth and stable development. Flowering week count begins from this point.

EVD420 Flower development is progressing slowly. Pre-flowers and early floral structures are forming, but the plant has not fully accelerated into active bloom yet. Pollination Setup • No pollination has occurred yet. • The plant has been moved into a controlled pollination box with the selected K19 male. • Inside the same pollination environment: K15, K16, and K19 females. The plan is to leave them together for approximately one week to ensure full and consistent pollination. Current Status K15 is in early flowering transition, positioned for targeted seed production with K19 genetics. Pollination phase begins.

EVD420 Pollination Phase Completed The controlled pollination window has been finalized. The plant was removed from the pollination box and returned to the main flowering chamber. Light leaf removal was performed to improve airflow and stabilize canopy structure. Flowering Development K15 can now be considered fully transitioned into active flowering. However, compared to the other lines involved in this breeding cycle, K15 shows a slower flowering onset, indicating a later bloom expression within the experiment. Current Status Pollination phase closed. Plant is now in active flowering and early seed development stage. Monitoring continues.

EVD420 Development Update The previously observed wrinkled or distorted leaves that appeared during vegetation have now fully corrected. The plant currently looks healthy and stable, with normal leaf structure restored. Phenotypic Observations The plant clearly expresses the KUST phenotype, though without any particularly unusual traits at this stage. Upper flowers are developing very nicely, with attractive structure forming on the top colas. It has been satisfying to watch this stage of development. Current Status K15 continues progressing through flowering. For now, the focus remains on observing flower development and overall maturation.

EVD420 Maintenance Removed dry and unnecessary leaves to clean up the plant and improve airflow. Aroma Profile The aroma is leaning towards a diesel-type profile, becoming more noticeable at this stage. Current Status The plant has been transitioned to pure water (flush phase). Entering the final ripening stage before harvest.

EVD420 Harvest The plant is fully pollinated, with seeds completely matured. Trichomes covering the seeded areas have also reached full maturity, with some showing signs of overripening. The plant has fully faded (yellowed out), indicating all resources were redirected into seed production. Seed Development Seed set is complete and fully developed. Result The plant has been harvested. The cycle is fully completed, with seeds ready for collection and further evaluation.

EVD420 Pollination Result Pollination was largely unsuccessful. Only ~3 well-formed seeds were obtained from the entire plant. Phenotypic Observations K15 showed clear elements of the KUST phenotype, including: * Leaf rotation * Unusual branch positioning However, these traits were not significantly different when compared to K16 and K19. Evaluation At this stage, K15 does not stand out as a distinct or superior selection within the line. Strategy Moving Forward Despite the low seed count, the material will still be: * tested in the next cycle * evaluated alongside related lines (K16, K19) Further work is required to: * stabilize traits * identify any hidden or recessive expressions Result The cycle is completed. Even with limited seed output, the line remains part of the ongoing selection process.
