Girl #1 ; she has grown 2” in height over one week. I have increased the nutes on her to every other watering. SHE had 2 ml on her last feeding. It then rained hard 24 hrs later. Nutes are tricky when dealing with Mother Nature, as the nutes could flush out after a hard rain. I see some brown spots on her and I am wondering what they are. If you
Put your nose up to her she has a slight ganja smell!!!

She is about 2.5” shorter the girl one but her foliage is in better shape. No odur at all, even with the nose up close.
* I will continue feeding with every other water. Does anyone know what the brown spots on the leaves mean?*
*Im a rookie grower and this is my first time. I’m going to avoid any LST as they have already been stressed enough. Just going to see what happens and get what I can from each plant.
Did you force them into flower? Im at week 7 and havent even shown sex yet and im not expecting them to for another few weeks so for yours to be full bloom at week 8 might explain why your buds are smaller as you say. They look good im just not familiar with your length of season ect you may want or need smaller plants but I try and get 5-6 foot
Hi there mate they are looking lovely!! A real credit to you 😀
As the buds develop they will get heavier putting extra weight on those branches.
I would consider placing a couple of 1-1.5 metre stakes into each pot to act as a support for your girls as they grow.
Best of luck mate 😀
They are doing just fine. Look at them , they are reaching for the sky 👍 means your watering is on point and they are loving life. I would recommend and I'm quite familiar with Green Planet nutrients, get some supplement to the lineup. Liquid Weight and Massive will give you the added boost to produce bigger buds. At a minimum you should be introducing Massive now for the next 4 weeks. Keep doing what you are doing 👊
Thanks for much for the valuable information! Wasn’t sure about tomato cages or any sort of support as I never see anyone doing this on their grows.
Also, growing outside is tricky .. it’s like your under constant threat ... hahaha
@Kostecs, I hear ya. I probably check mine 8-10 times a day and I am now worried about the few inch worms and potential aphids that are showing up. I planted some companion dill, marigolds, and sunflowers, but the damn rodents ate all of my sunflower seeds out of the ground. I am going to up my companion plant game next year. Probably some small boxes around the greenhouse with plants that attract beneficial predators of aphids and mites.
Looks like we are battling the same shitty weather here in Ontario. That slows everything down.
I put mine out a couple of weeks ago. I guess that will be my first should have, should have waited until the weather was warmer before I put them out. It was a bit of a gamble, I was running out of room though. All in all they should be fine, just some very slow growth until it warms up more.
Good luck on your grow!
@BarrieGrower, yes mine took a beat down as well. I’m looking forward to seeing your newest update. Odd growing season in Niagara with a cold Spring and then an instant morph into hellish hot/humid weather.
Hi @Kostecs, the plants are North of Sudbury, it's a bit of a hike there.
Plants are looking good and really filling out. One got a beat down from local wildlife, it's probably a deer, I don't think or hope it's not a bear.
Cheers!
Weather in Ontario is finally decent for a few weeks now boss! Those ladies are reaching high up! Looking forward to seeing those buds grow over the next few weeks of decent weather!!
@Kostecs,
No need to thank me boss. It's awesome being able to have a community who loves seeing others grow, and succeed!
That's sounds like solid advice which makes sense actually.
I'm gonna do that tonight myself before the light goes out!
@CanuckVetGrwr, thanks a lot man for taking some time to help me out and give your input. What you said does make perfect sense.
I decided today to remove a lot of big fan leaves. A successful grower has urged me to give it a shot as my buds could be a bit bigger. He told me now that my nutrients will be more focused on the buds instead of the fan leaves (at least thats the theory anyway).
@Kostecs,
You really don't have to remove leaves if growing outside. The sunlight is powerful think about how far it is from us and how hot it can be being so far away. The light will penetrate down still...but I've seen and read a few blogs where people have removed some of the fan leaves. So I think it's a preference thing.
I like the look of your buds for week 8. Frosty. I am likely going to keep growing to day 90-97. Based on Atrain's post about autoflower life cycle https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/life-cycle-of-autoflowering-cannabis.243982/
@Kostecs, Cool cool. The 73 days was the total number of days growing for seed germination, vegetative, and flowering for my last grow. The low amber trichome count may have been due to my CFL set up and not that I harvested too early. I am not sure, but is why I am considering going a little longer with my current grow. Who knows, I will let the trichomes decide for me I guess...
@Kostecs, hi mate No I wouldn't remove any leaves at this stage but I would definately try to support the plants like I mentioned in the answer to your grow question above 👆
Hey there. Good job so far. I am growing the same strain by @dinafem and I am just getting ready to move them into the greenhouse. I am going to follow your grow to see how things turn out.
Good luck
@CannaTrope, thanks man. These plants can take a real pounding and really come out of nowhere with a growth spurt at around the 30 day mark! Can wait to see how much I get ..
@Cannibalgardens, yes , I hope so too! I’m gonna cure like a pro for maximum benefit. I wish I could keep them going a bit longer. But nybtest bud that i pulled off got me feeling warm
And cozy so I’m guessing this stuff is potent..
@Cannibalgardens, hey man thanks for the response. Let me check your guys out. On a side note , I pulled a little tiny bud off 2’weeks ago and dried and smoked it... it was lovely ... these guys are gonna be potent when I’m done with them.
The beginning goes slow the finish goes fast.. my oldest Auto grows 2CM a day, plant doubled in size in less than a week. Best thing to have when growing is patience (which I do NOT have) they will make it.
Try to put them inside during nights if it gets lower than 15celcius. Sun even if its behind clouds is still stronger than an indoor growlamp so during the day always put them outside (unless there’s a storm or heavy rain?
Do you really give 0.5gl every day? Make sure the soil isn’t to wet.
Good luck 👍
@Kostecs, here it’s around 10-12 celcius at night but at 9 I bring them inside put them under a light till 10 and than dark till morning. This is the first time I’m doing it like that normally I just leave them outside and surely no extra light. I want to see if it will give me a better yield.
@CoastGrower, I have been giving 2cups of water a day (unless it rains). 2X per week I have been giving it .25ml of nutes. This week I will be giving .5ml 2X per week.
Cold and shitty today, once again!
Thanks for info on inside and outside. Yes, I have been bringing them in at night with the exception of a few nights that were warm. Haven’t watered in days because of the rain.
Would like to get some nutes in this evening.
Tour plats are looking great!
I would imagine they are the same as indoor, watching the tric's until they reach your personal level of ripe. Not sure if you are looking for a cloudy or partially amber or lots of amber tric's.
Looks like some happy growing going on!
Cheers
As far as the Trics go... I haven’t looked to hard yet. I see most are milky.. ideally I’d like about 1/3 Amber and the rest Milky. I’m a first time grower and have never used a Jewlers loop before. So it’s a bit of a learning curve..
Day #4,
Plant #1 was growing upside down. I’ve never once seen that. The tap root curled up and was going up while the green was popping under the soil. I’ve gently moved it around the popper way by hand. Let’s hope she goes. Plant #4 is greening on the top of the soil about 1cm high. Looks promising.
