EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝 Update on K16 F4. This plant was missed in earlier reports, so the report starts directly from week 4. It was first grown in a small cup, then transplanted into a 2.5L pot. As with the others, it was left on drip irrigation while I was away. After returning, the plant showed excellent condition. It has a very bushy structure, which is typical for the KUST phenotype. The leaves twist and rotate, some turning 90° and even 180°, creating a very distinctive and aesthetic look — exactly the reason I continue working with this phenotype so deliberately. The leaf color is lighter than in the previous generation and lighter than the other numbers currently in the run. Leaves have 6–7 fingers, and a terpene profile is already noticeable in the foliage. When rubbed, the leaves release a light floral aroma. I performed defoliation and switched the plant to flower.

EVD420 During this reporting period, K16 underwent structural maintenance as part of the ongoing grow management phase. The plant was defoliated and topped to control vertical growth and maintain structure. It has been transitioned into flowering. Phenotype observations: • Displays 7-finger leaves. • Shows strong leaf rotation, clearly expressing the characteristic phenotype. • Features long leaf petioles, contributing to its distinct structure. Overall, this is a well-structured and promising plant with clear phenotypic expression. Flowering development will determine terpene and further trait expression.

EVD420 During this reporting period, female pre-flowers became visible. This marks the official start of the flowering count for the remaining plants. No additional structural interventions were required this week. Development remains stable following previous topping and defoliation work. Flowering observation phase begins.

EVD420 Targeted Branch Pollination Selective manual pollination was performed: • One branch pollinated with KUST F3 pollen. • One branch pollinated with Diesel BX Fast F1 pollen. This allows internal line evaluation (KUST influence) alongside an external Diesel-based cross for comparative expression. Controlled Pollination Phase After branch pollination, the plant was moved into a separate pollination box together with the K19 male (as previously planned). K16 will remain in that environment for approximately one week to ensure full and consistent fertilization. Current Status Plant is in early flowering with multi-source pollination strategy applied. Seed development monitoring phase begins.
