Flushed soil to give her a fresh start in flowering. Also decided to purchase a decent light since I already invested a lot of time and effort. I opted for a Viparspectra 450W for my small space which is perfect for this single plant. Constantly making the canopy flat by LST and super cropping. Some defoliation to give light to other bud sites.
If it is really a landsrace cultivar (F1) you might need some UV (UVB) lights, otherwise she might not be able to ripen correctly and trichomes will probably not turn milky and amber .
@GreenCultivar, I used to have the V600 (sp?) ... it was a good light ... the quality was good! I had to go to a CMH though to get the quality + yield personally.
@ElevatedThinking, I'll go with main-line style. She was supposed to only have 8 mains but had to veg a little longer. I felt bad chopping down the extra growth so kept most of the colas.
Veg as long as you want dude. The more love and l attention she gets the better your harvest will be. My grow is in 9 weeks of veg. I spend a lot of time topping and training to get my canopy the way I want it before flowering. I'm lovin this work you are doing. Might copy it in my next grow.
@ForestGreen, due to my limited grow space I need to resort to some kind of training such as mainlining. Adds a few weeks in veg but it works for me. I can also get away with just LST or super cropping but I like the symmetry of mainlining.
@AbroCadabro, thanks!!! the body I used on this one is a Canon Rebel Xsi paired with a Canon 70-200 2.4. If I start shooting more I might grab a dedicated macro lens.
@Teamdirtbag2, thanks! I'm pretty impressed myself. I'm very lucky that I haven't had any issues with deficiencies or even stunting her growth. Great strain for this training.
