Short_N_stockY Fox farms ocean forest soil into starter pots placed on a heat mat. Seed germination successful without soaking the seed. Some seeds were placed in jiffy pods that didn't make it. Mainly because I left the lid on too long which caused them to drown. No nutrients right now, just pH'd tap water.

Short_N_stockY No nutrients, just pH'd tap water. Transferred to a 1 gallon pot. LED is about 6 inches away from plant. Good growth so far, hopefully the transfer doesn't stunt growth. A few more nodes and I can start training by topping to the 3rd node.

Short_N_stockY Fed at 50% recommendation to see if I get any nutrient burn. After a week I'l try it at full 100%. End of this week 5 nodes, ready to be topped. Also noticed a fan leaf curling up shown in picture. Ill be monitoring the leaves if it starts to spread throughout the plant.

Short_N_stockY Flushed soil to give her a fresh start in flowering. Also decided to purchase a decent light since I already invested a lot of time and effort. I opted for a Viparspectra 450W for my small space which is perfect for this single plant. Constantly making the canopy flat by LST and super cropping. Some defoliation to give light to other bud sites.

Short_N_stockY Not much to do right now other than some LST to space out bud site a little better. Veg'd too long and ended up with more bud sites than I anticipated. Had to cut down some of them but still seems like a lot. I guess we'll have to wait and see how these buds turn out.

Short_N_stockY This week I decided to up the tiger bloom to see how she reacts. Buds are growing a lot, Internodes are almost filled in, and resin production is great. Had to make an adjustment on the light height due to some flowering stretch.
Finally got a chance to take my camera gear out and do a quick shoot. Last 3 pics are from day 26 of flowering in natural light. Hopefully they start fattening up.

Short_N_stockY Going into week 5 of flowering, the scent of fresh cut grass has changed to an earthy pungent smell. Pistils are changing to an orange color. Trichome production is great and some are showing some orange hues. Everything looks good so far!

Short_N_stockY It got really hot during this week but trichome production has significantly increased. I noticed that there are more orange/amber trichomes but majority is still glassy. I wonder if the heat had something to do with it. I'm guessing she has another 2-3 week before harvest and should start flushing next week.
I wasn't expecting to harvest this soon but trichomes were mostly cloudy and some were orange. Sorry for the crappy macro shots. Majority of the pistils were no longer straight and white so I chopped her down. 210g trimmed weight weight not including another 20g of the larfy buds from the lower colas.

Short_N_stockY Growing this strain with less than ideal conditions (high temp and RH) still turned out pretty well. With the stress of mainline training, this strain didn't show any growth stunts or any issues. I think I would have yielded more if I started with a better light during veg but it is what it is. Still happy with what I got. Hopefully I don''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t run into mold issues drying the buds in low 60''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s% RH 😧 I will have to update on taste and effects in a few weeks. I just made my selections based on the smell.
Update 9/24/17 - got about 2oz of dried bud. They're in jars now still curing for another week before I sample the fruits of my labor.000
If it is really a landsrace cultivar (F1) you might need some UV (UVB) lights, otherwise she might not be able to ripen correctly and trichomes will probably not turn milky and amber .
@GreenCultivar, I used to have the V600 (sp?) ... it was a good light ... the quality was good! I had to go to a CMH though to get the quality + yield personally.
@ElevatedThinking, I'll go with main-line style. She was supposed to only have 8 mains but had to veg a little longer. I felt bad chopping down the extra growth so kept most of the colas.
Veg as long as you want dude. The more love and l attention she gets the better your harvest will be. My grow is in 9 weeks of veg. I spend a lot of time topping and training to get my canopy the way I want it before flowering. I'm lovin this work you are doing. Might copy it in my next grow.
@ForestGreen, due to my limited grow space I need to resort to some kind of training such as mainlining. Adds a few weeks in veg but it works for me. I can also get away with just LST or super cropping but I like the symmetry of mainlining.
@AbroCadabro, thanks!!! the body I used on this one is a Canon Rebel Xsi paired with a Canon 70-200 2.4. If I start shooting more I might grab a dedicated macro lens.
@Teamdirtbag2, thanks! I'm pretty impressed myself. I'm very lucky that I haven't had any issues with deficiencies or even stunting her growth. Great strain for this training.
