PhinolaGreen Germination Before the outdoor season begins, I will conduct a short growing cycle with exclusively female autoflowering strains over 8-9 weeks. And I am very happy to announce that I have chosen Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds. Tadaa, welcome, my beautiful lady, to my colorful circle! 😄 I soak the seeds in a glass of water and then place them in a damp cloth for two days after 48 hours.

PhinolaGreen 5th week It's slowly progressing with Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds. Big Bud is my buddy's favorite strain, and I hope I can bring him a little joy with this grow. The first Big Bud we had together was from Sensi Seeds in 2018, and back then there was a mishap with a plant that produced pollen, and then we ended up with seeds from 9 plants. Not a lot, since I noticed the nanners early enough back then, but still a few. My buddy still has his seeds from that run: Big Bud x Royal Gorilla if anyone's interested 🤭 But back to the topic 😀 The mainlining process is almost complete 😌🦊

PhinolaGreen 9th week Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds is developing well so far, I was able to break up the structure of the plant a bit with mainlining and now it really has potential. When repotting, it already had good roots, and I think they should feel very comfortable in the new pot 😄😌💚

PhinolaGreen 12th week Everything looks good so far, everything is going according to plan. The plant has adjusted well since the lollipopping and I think it needs about 2-3 more weeks until harvest, I'm very satisfied. There's also a really sad hate type lurking through my comments on Big Bud, not leaving any likes but spreading bad vibes and trying to undermine the work I’m doing with the plants here. Sorry guys that you have to witness me reacting to such narcissistic idiots in the comments. They really think they have something to say, phahaha, but in reality, it's all just a facade because they're never satisfied with themselves and have to vent their frustration on others, even though they're no better than anyone else, despite thinking they're the greatest. I can only laugh heartily at such people, phahaha. Growdiaries has been informed under the subject "Harassment and Defamation," they should take care of what happens to this person now. These people brought it all upon themselves with their stupid behavior. They should just stay away from the 🐶 Back to the topic: Happy Pentecost and Happy Growing, may the force be with you 💚

PhinolaGreen Harvest Weaaaaay it’s finally Harvest Time for Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds 😊 I’ve trimmed it a bit for drying. Hope it works out as planned with drying it in one piece; otherwise, I’ll have to split it. Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds has really nice fat buds 🤤 anyway, I’m just waiting for the drying to finish 😌 💚 Update 21.06.2026 three days after the cut: Big Bud Auto smells strongly of wood, earth, and a bit plant-like. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with the yield. My previous record of 77g with an auto has been surpassed by Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds by almost 7g, coming in at 83.9g. Wow, what a result, I’m speechless because it turned out to be so much. I was expecting 50, but over 80 definitely surprises me. Now I have to wait for Strawberry Gorilla Auto RF3 Fastbuds and Sweet ZZ Auto Royal Queen Seeds to see what they can yield, but if I was off by that much with Big Bud Auto Fastbuds, then Hallelujah xD I’m not making any predictions anymore and just letting myself be surprised. Strawberry Gorilla Auto RF3 Fastbuds definitely has more to offer than Big Bud Auto Fastbuds, and Chaos Cake Auto Anesia Seeds is still growing and is also a fckng monster. So, I don’t know, almost 84g is already a good start; for comparison, the two Epsilon Auto F1 from Royal Queen Seeds had a total of 82g. Let’s talk about the smoking experience; it tastes pleasant and has a slightly bitter note. The effect kicks in immediately after consumption; with my Big Bud Auto from Fastbuds, a heaviness and somehow relief permeates the body and makes the muscles melt away. The knockout comes quickly and hits fully after 15-25 minutes, and now it’s good to have snacks like those chocolate-covered peanuts in various colors; it doesn’t even have to be the brand product, Lidl works too 🤭 Anyway, the high is definitely noticeable with the stated 23%, feels like more. Otherwise, I like it; it’s a good choice for relaxing 😊💚😌

@squalino, that what you mean with the Translation is a automaticly function in GD. The idea behind, is to Connect all People all over the world with the same Speech. So the "Google" Translation is an function in GD 😊

Smile and wave…. You can't kill everyone😅 everyone has their own style. I'm not a fan of torturing plants excessively either. But the results from the plant torturers look good, that's not wrong… just not my style. Don't let it get to you.. that just raises your blood pressure. I wouldn't even engage with it. Ignorance is sometimes stronger than striking back😏
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@GreenHobbit, well yeah, it's definitely not easy for the plant to handle and compensate for 24/0. I won't deny that at all. I've been working with 24/0 for a long time now and have developed a technique that the plants seem to accept despite the 24/0. You might think that's great or not, but I think the plants look top-notch except for the bugs on the leaves. I've also grown autos on 18/6 and 20/4 for 2 years and then thought, maybe 24/0 could work too. At first, it was a struggle. But now, even with the mineral nutrients, the training, etc., I don't know, if it were harming the plants, I'd have much worse results, in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's not about increasing yield with 24/0, but rather pushing the plant to its maximum. The basic DNA of the autoflowering ruderalis comes from the northern latitudes of Siberia, where summers are short and the days can have 23-24 hours of brightness due to the latitude, and that leads, in my opinion, to modern, stabilized autos being able to handle 24/0, which I'm testing here. So it's not about "torturing" the plants, but rather being able to push the limits of what's possible based on their ruderalis DNA. I honestly haven't had such good results as I have since I switched to mineral nutrients and started doing mainlining and repotting... All parameters that are not recommended for autos. And I want to partially refute that here on Growdiaries, that it shouldn't be possible. Everything is possible as long as you're wild😌😅💚
GreenHobbit
GreenHobbit commented3mo ago
@PhinolaGreen, I meant that by stressing, it’s always said "Autos can’t handle stress" and I’ve seen a lot of posts where top results were achieved despite massive stress 😅 and that’s something everyone has to figure out for themselves. As you already said, basically there’s no right or wrong in this.
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@GreenHobbit, yeah that's true but also with the stress, especially with 24/0 the plants are constantly under some kind of stress to grow xD So it looks easy, but small mistakes when topping or something can cause problems for the plant. I learned with the 24/0 that the plants, under good conditions, good training, and sufficient and quality nutrients, are able to push their limits. I had my photos around Orange Sherbet FF Fastbuds on 24/0 for 10 weeks too. They didn't find that very funny, for example, but I wouldn't do that again with photos in the future. What I've noticed in 5 years of working with autos is that the stability of the batches from 2021 wasn't as stable as they can perform now for me. You can really see who cares about breeding or just mixes something together because it sounds cool from the seeds. And Fastbuds, not wanting to advertise, but Fastbuds have never disappointed me. That's why I'm currently doing so much Fastbuds. The genetics from FTB420 are super stable, they put in the effort, and I was already blown away by the RF3 strains this year and I'm excited to be able to test the F1 strains now 😌🤤💚

TentCity commentedweek 54mo ago
Please give us more insights like this :D Really cool story, have you grown anything from that seed? ☺️🌿
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented4mo ago
@TentCity, hello, Yeah, we actually had to first check if the seeds were feminized and started with 20 plants in 1L, and yes, all 20 were female. Following that, we wanted to see how the strains were and did a run with 3 strains of 3 plants each: Big Bud x Royal Gorilla, Northern Lights x Royal Gorilla, and Royal Gorilla x Royal Gorilla. The yield wasn't particularly great, but I remember that the Big Bud had that typical Gorilla flavor from the cross, which became noticeable later during curing. My buddy recently tried his seeds, but unfortunately, the germination rate is pretty bad since the seeds are almost 8 years old. I'm not really interested, as I've specialized in Automatics and would rather start a breeding project with autos than select photos. The 9 phenos ended up being too different for that. They all had their base DNA, but the Gorilla developed its own typical traits in each pheno. The NL x RG smelled like NL in one pheno but was as frosty as RG, one pheno smelled like RG and NL and looked completely different in growth pattern. Hope that helps! 😄😌
TentCity
TentCity commented4mo ago
@PhinolaGreen thank you for the details 🙏 I really didn't expect 20/20 female 😄 and the different traits in the crosses are quite interesting. It's just a shame that the germination rate is so low now.

PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@mariohanner, what are you guys talking about my feelings for? You bunch of crazies! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@mariohanner, Also: Growing is not an exact religion with just one holy way. Especially with lollipopping, there are countless different philosophies. Some radically shave everything off at the bottom, others leave significantly more leaf mass, and yet others adjust it depending on genetics, light intensity, or plant structure. As long as the plant looks healthy, grows reasonably, and your approach works for your setup, that's the most important reality — not some comment saying "but you're supposed to do it this way.
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@mariohanner, dear Silokan, you are making a fool of yourself in front of the other growers here. Why do I see it this way? You are trying to attribute some "mistakes" to me and completely forget that you are not the standard for judging this, but that every grower follows their own philosophy when growing and still has success. You want to tell me something like "But this is how you do it" and in doing so, it’s only about your own self-promotion. Silokan, I don't know what prevents you from accepting that others pursue their own individual philosophy for growing and act accordingly. So please stop taking your own freedom here and wanting to dictate something because that’s not how it works. You will only meet laughter from me with that. So why not invest your time meaningfully elsewhere and let me grow the way my philosophy dictates, and the world has one less stage. Do everyone a favor and stop acting important in the comments because you are not, Silokan, and you will never achieve that with your way of communicating. So I have now reached out to Growdiaries, and they should decide for themselves what happens, Silokan, that is no longer my responsibility. I wish you a nice weekend 😊 😌 💚

I would rather recommend a 20/4 cycle (even for autos), as the plants have a bit of time to recover, especially with the lights you have hanging over them. Are you measuring your pH and EC? It could also be the camera, but they all look a bit pale around the nose. Happy Growing!!!
Salokin
Salokin commented3mo ago
@PhinolaGreen, "Brauner" is a classic German term for a brown horse – also known from Richard Wagner's Valkyrie, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a staple of opera literature for over 150 years. Anyone who turns that into an accusation of racism shows that growing isn't the only area where one should probably do some reading first 🤪 and that's enough now!!! Happy Sunday
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@Salokin, oh come on, don't talk such bullshit, master. They weren't and aren't interested in an exchange, otherwise they would have addressed my knowledge level. You better stick to Google and leave the growing to people who actually know what they're doing. Such important makers. If they really cared about an exchange, they would have asked something. Instead, they just roll over me here with their Google knowledge and talk themselves up. Yeah, exactly, master. But I'm not surprised they don't get it, the way they think they can express themselves here and want to seem "well-read." Their whole demeanor reminds me of pure narcissism... So yeah, have a nice Sunday. And finally make it happen to stop contacting me, or I won't be able to contain my laughter about you 😊😌
PhinolaGreen
PhinolaGreen commented3mo ago
@Salokin, I think yes, this is some narcissistic problem of theirs: because they put themselves in the spotlight here, want to give me advice and impose their opinion with their important-sounding nonsense, acting like they are so well-read. As I said, I have 11 years of growing experience, 3 of which are on Growdiaries. They equalize all this knowledge I have with the simple statement: you have no idea. Are they serious? And they disguise it all under the pretense that they are interested in "exchange." If they had been interested in exchange, they would have asked me something instead of presenting their Google knowledge. I work with the plants and still have to listen to some bullshit from them just because I don't want their advice and have explained to them why, and the only thing that comes to their mind as a last message is to make me look even dumber in their eyes instead of addressing the knowledge I provided. Yeah right, keep cool dude and now annoy someone else with your toxic bullshit!
