JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
A week ago, the 2 Blue Nerds started germinating in Jiffys. 72 hours later, they saw the light.
The 2 have now moved into their final pots.
The soil consists of 60% Bio Canna Terra Plus and 40% clay pebbles from Dehner.
Each pot was fertilized with 50g Neudorff garden fertilizer, 50g Neudorff soil improver, 50g Biotabs Silicium Flash, 5g Biotabs Mycotrex (directly into the hole), and 50g Dehner worm humus.
The two were watered with BioCanna Rhizotonic and GRF BioEnhancer.
Blue Nerds S1 is Blue Sherb × Forbidden Fruit × Watermelon Z crossed with itself.
I’m hoping for a sweet, sour, and fruity terpene profile. Just like Blue Nerds taste.
Have a great start to the week!

I totally overwatered the two ladies. I watered them with 1.5L after transplanting. By then, the leaves were already drooping, and I interpreted that as thirst since the topsoil was dry again. So, I gave them another 1.5L. They didn't forgive me for that, and now they look like this. Shit happens. A simple pot lift test could have saved me the trouble. Next time!
The good thing is: they seem to be recovering slowly and are starting to grow again. Now it's just a matter of waiting and giving them time.
Wishing you all a great start to the week!

The ladies have recovered quite well from the overwatering and are growing diligently. I've also decided to top them. I'm pleasantly surprised that the two are growing very similarly so far.
Wishing you a great start to the week!

The two ladies have recovered very well from the overwatering and are growing beautifully. Still, the shock cost them a week of VEG. They will lose a bit on the yield because of that, but it's not a big deal.
Now it's time for flowering.

The two ladies are very vigorous and are starting strong growth into the flowering stage. For the flowering phase, I used 50g of organic tomato fertilizer from Toom as a topdress and watered the whole thing with organic PK from Biotabs, organic enhancer from Greenhousefeeding, and BioBoost/BioRhizotonic from BioCanna.
Actually, the two could have handled an extra week of VEG so that the side branches could participate in the light separation.
I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks. Wishing you a great start to the week!

The ladies have recovered wonderfully and are really vibrant. I'm really glad they managed to bounce back.
The first buds are slowly forming. Both phenos are growing almost identically and are therefore at the same height.
Wishing you a great start to the week!

The ladies have gotten some thick lollipops. Only the 4 main shoots are left. With another week of VEG, there would definitely have been twice as many shoots. Well, at least the 4 remaining ones now have all the energy for themselves and will hopefully produce some really thick buds. Unfortunately, there was still a plant in the tent that had open pollen sacs. Hopefully, it won't lead to seed formation...
Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the two ladies. They received some more Bio PK from Biotabs and a bit of BioCanna.
Wishing everyone a great start to the week!

The ladies are doing great and the stretch is over. Since I activated the AutoPot system just 3 days ago, the ladies haven't stretched much at all. In the last two grows, I activated the system 2 weeks earlier, which brought me close to the height limit of the tent...
Wishing you all a great start to the week!

The ladies are being fed by the AutoPot system (tap water with 1ml/L CalMg), which they are very happy about. I've also removed a leaf or two to improve airflow. I'll talk about the smell next week; it's changing weekly at the moment.
I'm pretty satisfied so far. Hopefully, the weather stays this good and lowers the humidity.
Wishing you a great start to the week! :)

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
A bit late with the weekly update. The pictures are from the beginning of the week :)
There was almost nothing to do. Just filling up the tank and taking out a big leaf or two for better airflow.
About the smells:
Both phenos smell very similar. Sweet, sour, artificial blueberry, funky, chemical, and earthy in the background. Reminds me of Blue Nerds in a pile of dirt.
Pheno 1 has a stronger earthy smell, while Pheno 2 has more funk coming through.
I'm very happy with the terpene profile and super curious to see how the flavor develops after curing.
Thanks for stopping by!

JackOfAllTrades Hey there and welcome to my indoor grow!
The week went smoothly. The ladies are in the middle of bulking up and gaining some serious mass. The one in the back has really nice thick buds. The one in the front has stayed the smallest with only 4 main branches. One of the branches has burnt leaf tips, like from a nitrogen excess, but the other 3 branches look completely fine. I also notice that she's not entirely happy with the autopot system; it's probably just too high water pressure for the size of the plant. She has some of the smallest buds, full of leaves, and smells almost exclusively like soil. A bit of the ugly duckling in the tent. Well, maybe she'll turn into a swan after all.
Wishing you all a great start to the week!

The week went smoothly. The dehumidifier is running 24/7 and keeps the humidity at a comfortable level. By now, there are noticeable differences between the phenos. The back pheno is clearly the favorite with thick buds that keep swelling and a very tasty terpene profile reminiscent of citrus cleaner. The front pheno is still suffering from burn symptoms. I can't explain this, as it only affects one branch. Maybe it has to do with the training, since that's the most trained branch.
Wishing you all a great start to the week!

JackOfAllTrades Hey and welcome to my indoor grow!
Back from vacation without any nasty surprises. The AutoPot system took great care of them. The ladies are ready, and I'm letting them dry a bit more before harvesting. 5-10% amber and the rest milky.
Wishing everyone a nice weekend!
Dried in the VCure with a Custom Cycle. 5 days drying at 16 degrees and 58% RH, and 9 days curing at 15 degrees and 61% RH. The buds are stored at 13 degrees and 61% RH. Taste 5/7: Both phenos were smoked as well as vaped. In terms of flavor, the two ladies were almost identical. Extremely strong floral taste. Like those flower salads you get in fancy restaurants. When smoking, a hint of rose lipstick came through. A bit sweet and bitter. They are very tasty buds, but they completely lack the Nerds or Blue Nerds flavor. Therefore, 2 points off. Effect 2/2: Indica-dominant hybrid effect. It's pleasant and lets you sink comfortably into the couch. I would consider it to be on the stronger side. Appearance 1/1: Awesome nugs. Overall result 8/10: All in all, a really great genetic.

JackOfAllTrades The Blue Nerds is a great genetic variety. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the classic Blue Nerds terps, but it's still tasty. It'll be back in the tent soon.
Thanks for the awesome support!
@JackOfAllTrades, prices are really okay. Although I don't really pay attention to the price anymore. When you're usually harvesting 70g or more, 35 euros for a seed doesn't really matter that much. At least that's what I think. I still have (Oz Melon x Papaya) x Blue Nerds from Clearwater, but right now my pipeline is already full with other projects. Unfortunately, I can't grow as much as I sometimes wanted to.
