HNNY Midnight Lemonade 🍋

Gingobeaz Hallo und herzlich willkommen zu meinem nächsten Grow! Angebaut wird diesmal eine Midnight Lemonade von HNNY (Instagram) bzw. NoProbation4weed (Growdiaries) Der Strain ist eine Kreuzung aus Legendary Lemon Larry x Black Cherry Punch. Nachdem der Steckling knapp 4 Tage unterwegs war wurde er in einen 2L Topf mit 70% Kokos und 30% Perlite gesetzt. Das ist mein erster Versuch mit Kokos, mal schauen wie es wird. __ Hello and welcome to my next grow! This time, I'm growing Midnight Lemonade from HNNY (Instagram) and NoProbation4weed (Growdiaries). The strain is a cross between Legendary Lemon Larry and Black Cherry Punch. After the cutting had been traveling for just under 4 days, it was placed in a 2L pot with 70% coconut and 30% perlite. This is my first attempt with coconut, so let's see how it goes.

Gingobeaz Nach 10 Tagen Erholung war der Topf recht gut durchgewurzelt und die Pflanze wurde in einen 20L Stofftopf umgetopft. In den Topf habe ich 6 Dochte für eine spätere Dochtbewässerung eingebracht. Als Tank dient eine 30x40cm (12L) Eurobox. __ After 10 days of recovery, the pot was well rooted and the plant was repotted into a 20L fabric pot. I inserted 6 wicks into the pot for later wick watering. A 30x40cm (12L) Eurobox serves as the tank.

Gingobeaz Die Pflanze macht sich gut in meinem ersten Kokos grow. Blätter sind etwas hell, vielleicht gehe ich mit dem EC von 1,3 noch etwas hoch. __ The plant is doing well in my first coconut grow. The leaves are a little light, so I might increase the EC from 1.3 a little.

Gingobeaz Die Pflanzen sind ins neue 100x58 Zelt gezogen, wo nun jede unter einer eigenen Lampe steht, so ist es etwas entspannter in der Box. Sie wurden diese Woche getopped und demnächst steht noch etwas LST an. SCROG wollte ich dieses Mal nicht machen. __ The plants have been moved to the new 100x58 tent, where each one now has its own lamp, so it's a bit more relaxed in the box. They were topped this week and some LST is coming up soon. I didn't want to do SCROG this time.

Gingobeaz Nach 4,5 Wochen gehen wir in die Blüte. Die Pflanze wächst vital und wurde weiterhin trainiert und jetzt vor der Blüte etwas entlaubt und gelollipopped. Ich hätte auch noch eine Woche Vegetationsphase fahren können aber ich möchte Mitte Mai für die Outdoor Saison vorziehen. __ After 4.5 weeks, we are entering the flowering phase. The plant is growing vigorously and has continued to be trained. Now, before flowering, it has been defoliated and lollipopped. I could have continued the vegetation phase for another week, but I want to bring forward the outdoor season to mid-May.

Gingobeaz Die Pflanze macht sich gut sehr gut. Hin und wieder wurde etwas entlaubt und LST angewendet um eine einigermaßen Ebene Fläche zu schaffen. Die dochtbewässerung funktioniert ebenfalls sehr gut. Stretch ist nach einer Woche Blüte nur sehr wenig zu erkennen. __ The plant is doing very well. Every now and then, some leaves were removed and LST was applied to create a reasonably flat surface. The drip irrigation is also working very well. After one week of flowering, there is very little sign of stretching.

Gingobeaz Die Pflanze ist trotz Kokos und Dochtbewässerung kleiner und kompakter als die in Erde. Das würde ich aber auf den Phenotyp und die Sorte schieben. Beide Systeme funktionieren sehr gut. Hatte mit Mehltau zu kämpfen trotz geringer RLF. Habe zwei zusätzliche Ventilatoren installiert und früher als üblich (Tag 16 der Blüte) entlaubt und defoliert. Die Pflanze hat es mir aber nicht übel genommen und sah am nächsten Tag schon wieder super aus. Außerdem hab ich sie mit einem Vollmilch-Wasser Gemisch besprüht das soll gegen Mehltau helfen. Nächste Woche kommt nochmal eine Behandlung dann bin ich es hoffentlich los und die Buds können wachsen. __ I had to deal with powdery mildew despite low relative humidity. I installed two extra fans and pruned and defoliated earlier than usual (day 16 of flowering). The plant didn’t seem to mind, though, and looked great again the very next day. I also sprayed it with a mixture of whole milk and water—that’s supposed to help against powdery mildew. I’ll give it another treatment next week, and hopefully that’ll get rid of it so the buds can grow.

Gingobeaz Die Blüte verläuft bisher gut. Die Blütenknospen nehmen langsam Gestalt an, und man kann bereits fruchtige, süße Terpene wahrnehmen. Leider ist der Mehltau wieder da. Da ich die Pflanze nicht mehr besprühen kann, tupfe ich die betroffenen Stellen mit Wasserstoffperoxid ab. Ich hoffe, dass ich den Befall eindämmen kann. Vivosun hat ein Update erhalten, mit dem man zwei Sensoren anzeigen kann (Innenraum und Mikroklima). Der Innenraumsensor befindet sich direkt über dem Pflanzenbestand, und der Mikroklimasensor ist am Rand des Topfes angebracht. Es ist wirklich interessant, wie unterschiedlich diese Werte sind. Das stellt die ganze Diskussion um VPD usw. in Frage. SANlight erreicht nun in seinem Labor ebenfalls sehr hohe VPD-Werte, da sie den Durchschnitt dieser Messungen nehmen. __ Flowering is going well so far. The buds are slowly taking shape, and you can already detect fruity, sweet terpenes. Unfortunately, the powdery mildew is back. Since I can no longer spray the plant, I’m dabbing the affected areas with hydrogen peroxide. I hope I can contain the infestation. Vivosun has received an update that allows you to display two sensors (indoor and microclimate). The indoor sensor is located directly above the plant canopy, and the microclimate sensor is placed on the rim of the pot. It’s really interesting how different these values are. This calls into question the whole discussion about VPD, etc. SANlight is now also achieving very high VPD values in their lab because they take the average of these measurements.

Gingobeaz Auch hier ein leichter Mehltau zu sehen. Ich gebe die Pflanze aber noch nicht auf. Terps sind schon super und würde sie gerne durch die Blüte bringen. __ There’s a slight case of powdery mildew here too. But I’m not giving up on the plant just yet. The terpenes are already great, and I’d really like to see it through to flowering.

Gingobeaz Der Kampf gegen den Mehltau geht weiter. Habe jetzt in der Dunkelphase Putolyt im 1:25 gesprüht. Das wiederhole ich jetzt 2x die Woche vielleicht bekomme ich es so noch in den Griff. Falls die Buds Schimmel bekommen wären sie durch den Mehltau sowieso zerstört worden. Ansonsten sehr schöne Pflanze. Sehr frosty und der Geruch ist fruchtig! __ The battle against powdery mildew continues. I just sprayed Putolyt at a 1:25 dilution during the dark phase. I’m going to repeat this twice a week—maybe I’ll be able to get it under control that way. If the buds had gotten mold, they would have been ruined by the powdery mildew anyway. Otherwise, it’s a really nice plant. Very frosty, and the smell is fruity!

Gingobeaz Es geht in den Endspurt! Noch etwa zwei Wochen sind es bis zur Ernte. Der Tank der Dochtbewässerung, die nach wie vor tadellos funktioniert wurde ein letztes Mal mit einer Düngelösung gefüllt (5L). Ab dem nächsten Mal gibt es nur noch Final Part um die Ausreifung zu unterstützen. Der Mehltau ist eingedämmt aber noch nicht ganz weg. 2x pro Woche gesprühe ich die Pflanze mit einem 1:50 Gemisch von Purolyt und detailliertem Wasser. Auch wenn die Pflanze sehr gelitten hat sehen die Blüten trotzdem gut aus und sind voller Trichome 💎 __ We’re in the home stretch! There are still about two weeks until harvest. The reservoir for the wick irrigation system—which is still working perfectly—was filled one last time with a fertilizer solution (5 L). Starting next time, I’ll only use Final Part to support ripening. The powdery mildew has been contained but isn’t completely gone yet. Twice a week, I spray the plant with a 1:50 mixture of Purolyt and distilled water. Even though the plant has suffered a lot, the flowers still look good and are full of trichomes 💎.

Gingobeaz BT 53 - Ich habe den Dünger auf Terra Aquatica Final Part umgestellt. Der Mehltau ist noch vorhanden aber durch das Besprühen mit 1:20 Purolyt eingedämmt. Ca. eine Woche hat die Pflanze noch dann werden die Buds nochmal in Wasserstoffperoxid gewaschen und aufgehängt. Ich hoffe es schimmelt nichts dabei. __ Flower day 53 - I've switched the fertilizer to Terra Aquatica Final Part. The powdery mildew is still there, but it's been kept under control by spraying with a 1:20 Purolyt solution. The plant has about a week left, then I'll wash the buds again in hydrogen peroxide and hang them up. I hope nothing gets moldy in the process.

Gingobeaz Und Ende. Ich habe die Pflanze an Tag 56 der Blüte geerntet. Man hätte Sie bestimmt noch eine Woche stehen lassen können, aber durch den Mehltau wollte ich hier kein Risiko eingehen. Die Buds wurden grob nass getrimmt und mit einer 1:10 Lösung Wasser + 3% Wasserstoffperoxid und zwei weiteren Eimer Wasser (warm und kalt) gewaschen um die Sporen des Mehltau hoffentlich abzutöten. Ich hoffe das funktioniert, da die Buds super kompakt, recht dick und frosty sind. __ And that's it. I harvested the plant on day 56 of flowering. I probably could have left it for another week, but because of the powdery mildew, I didn't want to take any chances. The buds were roughly wet-trimmed and washed with a 1:10 solution of water and 3% hydrogen peroxide, plus two additional buckets of water (one warm and one cold) to hopefully kill the powdery mildew spores. I hope this works, since the buds are super compact, quite thick, and frosty.
