The main stem broke but I fixed it with some duct tape and started bending the main stem! Absolutely beast plant considering it is on a balcony! I really can't thank zambeza enough for these seeds and also the quality of these seeds!

I started with some LST to try to get an even canopy and more bud production. I absolutely love the pineapple express strain! The pictures are taken every saturday and today I actually over watered the plant a little bit.

I must say that this plant is my favorite until now because I was able to do a nice LST training and she is growing very fast! I cannot wait until I see some big pineapple buds!

Absolutely in love with my pineapple express! It is a strain I have always liked ever since I tried it in amsterdam. So I've put a lot of effort into this one. The leaves in the lower part of the plant seem to be getting yellow but I can't pinpoint the reason for this. I only fed it water and still seems like something is wrong. Either lack of N of excess of it. Or the plant has outgrown the 8L pot. Any sugestions?

Keep having nitrogen deficiency problems even though I think i've fed more than enough of it... these have been really fun and challenging grows with my first experience with photoperiods. I'm Looking forward too see what comes next!

I think I have to water this plant more often, but I haven't had much time lately. Also keep having nitrogen deficiency signs even after applying foliar spray to fix this issue faster. this could perhaps be some ph imbalance. Unfortunately I don't have a pH meter yet but soon I will. Otherwise, I still like the work I did with the training on this plant and I am very looking forward for the outcome. Thank you all that have been commenting and visiting my growdiaries profile 👊

I haven't watered the plant at the proper time and It still looks like the is some nitrogen deficiency but I think this is a PH problem. Also decided to defoliate

The leaves are always a little bit down and I dont know if this is because it needs a bigger pot, some ph problem or just needs more water.

This plant does not have a very strong smell wich is very good for me. But when you rub the buds it has a clear and distinct smell of pineapple! Can't wait to harvest this one!

This plant is literally testing me! We are on week 22 and the plant is still not ready and now it started raining, and to complicate things even more, I noticed that there are a few spider mites under the leaves and so close to harvest this is probably going to ruin everything. I can only hope that by the next weekend I can harvest this plant and save it from further problems. Wish me luck! Have a good one 👊

Hello everyone, She is on week 22 and the problem is, it started raining and I can barely keep her out of the rain, and now I noticed some little red bugs under the leaves.(mites) Being so close to harvest, what should I do about the mites? Should I harvest asap or wait? Thanks!

Looks like spider mites and they are reproducing fast. My advise is to remove them with a moist tissue every 3 days until harvest to kill them without spraying anything

Finally this grow is coming to an end! Unfortunately The spider mites wont let me wait 2 more weeks to see how this plant would turn out but I guess it would be really interesting because some buds are starting to show some purple on them and the smell coming out of this plant is absolutely incredible. I have been killing the mites with my bare hands but it is a impossible task to get rid of them completely. Zambeza did a good job with this strain! It is a matter of days until I chop It. Thank you for following the grow 👊

Pineapple express... just the name ecoes inside cannabis users heads. Maybe because of the movie or maybe just because of the pineapple smell and flavour. This plant is the first photoperiod strain I have ever grown and the ride was a turbulent one. From yellowing leaves, to wilting leaves, thirps, to breaking branches 🤦‍♂️ And when I thought that finally everything was going smoothly, right at the final 3 weeks of flowering appeared the damn spider mites! This was a hard fought battle by both sides, but my fingers proved to be fatal in a devastating fashion. By crushing these lil f****** everyday I managed to keep everything kind of in check until harvest without having them destroy my precious buds. I am too stuborn to let my 23 weeks of hard work go to waste. I am very happy with this plant overall, the plant started turning purple in some buds and I'm sure she would get even more purple if she didn't have mites sucking her out. So I left the remaining of the plant still in her pot to see how it goes next year and maybe cross this plant with a male to see what we can get out of here... 👨‍🔬 The smell coming out of this plant was very sweet and definetly fruity. I am eager to smoke this plant and do a nice review of it. I dont usually weigh the buds but I guess there will be around 70 grams of dry bud. The Harvest: This harvest was one of the most difficult I have ever done due to the mites still being in some little sugar leaves and because of the quantity of leaves that had to be removed. It took me around 3 hours! 🤯 I prefered to dry without the fan leaves in this case because I'm sure the mites would of made plenty of new homes for them and this way allows me to preserve more bud and trichomes But I'm still doing 2 inspections a day to make sure they disappear for good. I believe drying with fan leaves on preserves more trichomes but it is better to do it that way if you have very good drying conditions. Not for me on a cardboax 😅 This season is almost over due to the fact that I only grow outdoors and don't have any indoor equipment. Still I have 2 more autoflowers going strong and nearing their harvest so make sure to check them out if you haven't yet already! I am very thankfull to have a platform where I can share my grows to a community of other growers from all around the world and conect with them and share experiences and even get some seed sponsors along the way! and I am also very thankfull for each and every company that has sent me their seeds and I comit myself to bring the best of each and every seed that was given to me. Thank you all very much for visiting and liking over the course of these weeks! Happy growing!

could be root bound a bit... do the yellowed leafs fall off real easy or not? if yes then it's a N problem, if not really then it's something else probably Mg deficiency, but it could also very well be root bound , usually you want to repot much earlier, those plants are very big for a 8L pot ! great diary so far though !
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrowcommented6 years ago
@@thc_reviewr, maybe an N lock out not a deficiency, that's a lot of N for one plant !

@CRiSPrGrow, I believe it is rootbound but she's going to have to deal with it 🤷‍♂️. I also tried to apply some foliar spraying to see if The plant absorbs N faster. Thanks for your input bro

Are you sure they're spider mites dude , any webbing forming under or around those leaves . There's a lot of bugs around autumn dude, spidermite are more prone to greenhouses.
thc_reviewr
thc_reviewrcommented5 years ago
@Welovephattrees420uk, they haven't formed any webs yet but I am pretty sure it is some kind of spider mite even though I have my plants outdoors

@@thc_reviewr, Haha ;) yeah I was just kidding , there really isnt much of a bright side when it comes to fungi and pests😉
thc_reviewr
thc_reviewrcommented5 years ago
@BillMonroe, yes that is true if it is with leaf suckers and a landrace strain but I don't know about mildew and I'm not so sure if these kind of genetics have that exact response because of selective breeding and not having to face that many bug infestation like the landraces. (This is my opinion)
BillMonroe
BillMonroecommented5 years ago
@@@thc_reviewr, Yeah very annoying. If you are on top of it, maybe you can prolong things... As long as they are not webbing up the buds... Look at it in a positive way, it's possible that stress response from things like leaf suckers and mildew makes the plant increase more terpenes as a defense mechanism... heard about that quite a few times

hey man, i dont mean to butt in uninvited but looks like your plant got too many nutrients and is locked out based on the yellowing, i'm just worried ! if it's not that nevermind ! 🚀
thc_reviewr
thc_reviewrcommented6 years ago
@Stick, thanks for the input bro. at first I tried it was excess of nuts but so I only watered for a week and now resumed to feed the normal nutrient shedule. I think she is bouncing back but at the same time I think the plant wants a bigger pot. what's your opinion?

@@thc_reviewr, @CRiSPrGrow it’s a Nitrogen deficiency. She’s a big girl, she would have appreciated some more N a few weeks ago. 👋
