wolfvb The Magic of week 1 πŸͺ🌱 The Vibe: There is nothing quite like the feeling of a fresh start! I’had just dropped the seeds for the Devil Cookies One and I am hyped to see them break the soil. I’ve heard great things about these USA genetics and can't wait to see how they perform in the Agyrochy setup. The Setup & Environment: Light: Running the Agyrochy 100w LED at 80% power to start, kept at a safe distance of about 60cm to avoid stressing the new babies. Controller: My Tuya Smart controller is dialed in to keep the environment stable. Climate: Aiming for high humidity (around 75-80%) to help these seedlings get established. Temps are holding steady at 24-27Β°C. Method: Seeds went directly into the substrate for a natural start. Feeding & Watering: Water: For this first week, it’s all about pH-adjusted water (around 6.0-6.2) to keep things simple. Mist: I’m lightly misting the surface to keep the humidity high around the pots without over-saturating the medium. Notes for the Community: I’ll be documenting everything from seed to harvest right here for the 2026 Cup. If any of you have run this Super Sativa Seed Club strain before, drop your tips in the comments! Let’s grow together. ✌️

wolfvb Week 2: True Leaves & Strong Starts! 🌱 Hey everyone, welcome to Week 2 of the Devil Cookies One project! The seedling stage is officially behind us, and she is settling into the BioBizz Coco-Mix beautifully. As you can see in the pictures, the first sets of true leaves have fully formed and are looking incredibly healthy. The color is a vibrant, rich green, and the leaf texture is spot-on no signs of light stress, curling, or nutrient issues so far. Growth & Structure: She's building up some nice symmetry! The main stem has a slight reddish/purple tint, which is pretty common for this stage and these genetics. She stretched just a little bit, so I’ve gently placed a garden wire next to the stem to provide some early support and keep her perfectly upright while she builds stem strength under the 100W Agyrochy LED. (Also, loving the Dutch Passion / Super Sativa Seed Club genetics so far!). Environment & Watering: Everything is humming along nicely with the tent automation. Because she's still small and its only Week 2, I'm keeping watering light. I'm just giving her pH-adjusted water in a circle around the base of the stem to encourage the taproot to stretch out and search for moisture in the coco. Keeping it moist, but definitely not drenched. Super hyped to see her vegetative growth explode over the next couple of weeks. If anyone has grown the Devil Cookies One before, feel free to drop some tips! Happy growing, everyone! βœŒοΈπŸ’¨ Observation: This girl going to be freaky you can see πŸ™ˆ it from the leaves.

wolfvb Vegetation – The Stretch Begins Overview Entering Week 3 and the Devil Cookies One is showing some solid vigor. The leaf structure is coming in thick with that classic Indica-leaning serration, though the nodes are staying nice and tight under the 100w LED. No signs of major stress, just steady growth as she finishes up her time in the solo cup. Environment & Nutrients: Light: Keeping the Agyrochy 100w at about 18 inches to prevent stretching. Feeding: Started a light dose of BioBizz (Bio-Grow) this week. She seems to be taking the nutrients well with no burnt tips. Watering: Soil is drying out faster now that the root mass is filling the cup. I’m watering every 2 days or whenever the cup feels light. Plant Development Structure: The third and fourth sets of true leaves are fully established. Health: Stems are showing some slight purple huesβ€”could be genetics (Devil Cookies often shows color) or just a slight reaction to the environment, but the growth hasn't slowed down. Next Steps: I’ll be looking to transplant into the final pot soon. The roots are likely circling the bottom of the cup by now, and I want to avoid her getting root-bound before the real vegetative explosion happens. Note: Keeping a close eye on the humidity in the Agyrochy tent to make sure it stays in that 60-65% sweet spot for early veg. Update: 25.03.26 I have transplanted her today to her final pot She live now in mix of biobizz cocos and generic cocos from the Rewe super market with extra compost and monster buds mix

wolfvb 🐞 Week 4 Update: LST, A Little Helper, and a Funky Mutation! 🌿 Week Update: Shaping her up! 🐞 Welcome to Week 4! The plant is growing nicely and we are officially starting to shape her up. I had a little ladybug patrolling the coco and hanging out on the leaves always nice to have some natural pest control on duty! But the most interesting thing this week is a strange little leaf mutation on one of the new growths. The Details: Development: She is vegging well and taking to the substrate nicely. The roots must be getting well established because the top growth is really starting to push out. There is a really funky leaf mutation happening on one side (check the close-up pics!) where the leaf looks twisted and almost double-layered. It doesn't seem to be slowing her down though, just a cool genetic quirk! Structure: I started some LST (Low Stress Training) this week! Using some wire ties to gently bend the main stem down and expose those lower nodes to the light. The goal is to keep the canopy nice and even before she gets too tall. She took the bending like a champ and is already turning her top back up towards the light. Health: Overall health is great! The leaves are holding a beautiful deep green, no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies so far. The ladybug friend 🐞 is a very welcome sight to keep any unwanted pests away from the tent. I'm keeping a close eye on the mutated leaf to see what it does, but otherwise, she's perfectly healthy and happy. Next Steps: I'll continue to adjust the LST ties as she stretches and keep monitoring the moisture levels. I'll probably up the feed slightly next week if she keeps responding this well. Let's see how this mutation develops! Happy Growing !!! πŸ₯¦β˜€οΈ

wolfvb What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome back to another update! We are officially in Week 5 with "The Divel Cookies One" Super Sativa, and things are getting interesting! πŸš€ As you can see from the pictures, we are still solidly in the vegetative stage, and this week has been all about heavy training to shape her up for the future. 🌿 Development & Structure: We went in hard with the Low Stress Training (LST) this week! I took some thick garden wire and completely pinned the main stalk down sideways. The goal here is to break that apical dominance and force all those lower side branches to catch up. You can already see the new growth tips turning upwards toward the light, fighting to become new main colas. She is staying incredibly low and spreading out nicely across the fabric pot. πŸ’§ Nutrient & Water Log: She just got a fresh drink/foliar spray (you can see the water droplets still resting on the leaves πŸ’¦). The foliage is a mostly healthy, vibrant green, though there is a little bit of drooping/clawing going on likely just her reacting to the recent watering and the stress of being tied down so aggressively. I'm also noticing just a tiny bit of spotting on a couple of the older fan leaves and some purpling on the stems. Nothing major to panic about, but I'll be keeping a very close eye on the pH and dialling in the nutrients to make sure she stays on track. 🍽️πŸ’ͺ β›Ί Environment & Health: Overall, she is taking the LST like a champ. The environment is stable, and the fabric pots are doing a great job ensuring the root zone gets plenty of oxygen. She’s got some tent-mates in the background, but she is claiming her space and building a really solid foundation for when we eventually flip her to flower. I’m excited to see how she bounces back from this training over the next few days. The canopy should really start to even out! Let me know what you guys think of the training in the comments! Happy growing and stay frosty! 🌲πŸ”₯

wolfvb πŸͺ Week 6: Training the The Devil Cookies One Strain: The Devil Cookies One (Super Sativa Seed Club) Stage: Vegetative Light Cycle: 18/6 πŸ“ The Update Welcome to Week 6 for The Devil Cookies One! While the Sticky Broccoli is wrapping up its journey, this girl is just starting to get interesting. She’s showing that classic vigorous hybrid growth, and it’s time to get serious about her shape. πŸ› οΈ Low-Stress Training (LST) & Management I’ve started some aggressive LST this week to keep the canopy flat and encourage those side branches to become main colas. The Bend: As you can see in the photos, I’m using soft wire to pin the main stem down. This breaks the apical dominance and sends all that growth hormone to the lower nodes. The Structure: She’s responding well. No snapping, just nice, flexible stems. I’m making sure to tuck leaves where I can to keep the new growth sites exposed to the Agyrochy light. 🌿 Plant Health Leaf Texture: The leaves are looking very lush and "crinkly", which is typical for some Cookies genetics in high-growth phases. Color: A beautiful, vibrant lime green. She’s clearly loving the current nutrient schedule and hasn't shown any signs of the PPM issues I had with the Broccoli. Nodes: Internodal spacing is nice and tight, which is going to make for some very dense stacking once we flip to flower. 🍽️ Feeding & Environment Keeping things steady with the Plagron line. I'm focusing on root development and nitrogen right now to build a strong frame for the buds to come. Next Steps: I'll continue to circle the main stem around the pot to create a "spiral" effect, maximizing every inch of space in the fabric pot. She’s a fast mover! Growers Love! πŸ’š

wolfvb 🌱 Week 7: "The Divel Cookies One" – Will the Super Sativa Explode? πŸš€πŸͺ What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome to Week 7 with "The Divel Cookies One" (Super Sativa)! A big question on my mind right now: Will she pick up the pace and explode like the other girls in the tent? The Sativa Waiting Game ⏳ If you're growing a heavy Sativa or "Super Sativa" leaning strain, they sometimes take their sweet time in the early vegetative stage while they build up a massive root system. While she might seem like she is pacing herself compared to her sisters right now, do not be fooled! Once she fully establishes herself and we get closer to the flip, Sativas are notorious for their aggressive stretch and explosive growth spurts. She is just winding up! Training & Canopy Work πŸ“ŽπŸŒΏ As you can see in the photos, I am staying highly proactive with the Low Stress Training (LST). I've got the green training clips and garden wire working together to pull those branches down and outward. The goal is to keep her canopy as even as possible before she inevitably decides to shoot for the lights. She's responding really well to the bends, and those inner nodes are starting to get the light they need to catch up. Health & Vigor πŸƒ Overall, she is looking healthy! The leaves have that classic, slender Sativa structure with deep ridges, and the new growth tips are a beautiful vibrant green. She's sitting comfortably in her fabric pot, and the substrate looks perfectly managed. I have a feeling that in the next week or two, we are going to see her hit the gas pedal hard. πŸŽοΈπŸ’¨ What do you guys think? Will she overtake the others soon? Let me know in the comments! wolfvb 🌱 Week 8: "The Divel Cookies One" – Heavy Training & Prepping for the Flip! πŸ”„ What's up, GrowDiaries fam! πŸ’š Welcome to Week 8 with "The Divel Cookies One" (Super Sativa). Remember last week when I wondered if she was going to pick up the pace? Well, she definitely got the memo! Explosive Growth & Heavy LST πŸ“ŽπŸŒΏ She has completely bushed out! As you can see in the photos, the training regimen is in full effect right now. I have a whole system of red and green LST clips snapping those branches outward, combined with wire tie-downs at the base to keep her anchored. She is taking the stress like an absolute champ and building a beautiful, wide, and even canopy. Those inner nodes have completely caught up! The Master Plan: 18/6 to 12/12 β°β˜€οΈ Right now, she is still cruising comfortably on her 18/6 vegetative light cycle. But the big news is the upcoming schedule change! In the next couple of weeks, I'll be flipping the tent's light cycle to 12/12 to officially send her and Mellow Jelly into flower! So, what happens to the rest of the girls in the tent? They are getting evicted! πŸ˜‚ They will be making their grand move out to the balcony to continue their journey under the great outdoors. I am incredibly hyped to see how this Super Sativa stretches once those lights drop to 12 hours. If her veg vigor is any indicator, we are going to need all the vertical space we can get! Let me know what you guys think of her canopy structure in the comments! Happy growing, everyone! βœŒοΈπŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Bushing Out πŸ‘Άβ›Ί Welcome to Week 9! This girl is getting incredibly dense and bushy in the tent, and she's looking super healthy as we push forward. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Training & Structure: You can clearly see the LST (Low Stress Training) in action here. Between the green tie-down wires and the red training clip, the canopy is being pulled open nicely. She naturally wants to be a thick bush, so opening up that center is crucial for light penetration. 🌿 Foliage Health: The leaves are a gorgeous, dark, leathery green. There is a tiny bit of tip burn on some of the older fan leaves, which is actually perfect it means we are pushing the nutrient feed right to the absolute limit without overdoing it. She is eating everything she's given! 🍽️ Macro Details: Check out that extreme close-up shot of the new apex growth! The new leaves are aggressively praying upward, and if you look closely at the serrated edges, you can see the very early glistening of trichomes starting to form. The factory is officially opening up! ❄️ Tent Security: the tattooed baby has been deployed to guard the topsoil! πŸ•·οΈ Best mascot ever nobody is messing with this grow. πŸ’§ Next Steps: Right now, it's all about canopy management. With how dense she is getting, keeping that airflow moving and ensuring those inner bud sites get light will be the main focus. I'll keep adjusting the ties as she stretches. Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Filling Out the Canopy! β›ΊπŸƒ Welcome to Week 10! This girl is turning into an absolute monster of a bush. Looking at her from these top-down angles really shows off just how wide and dense she has become. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: Canopy Spread: The LST is paying off big time! You can still see the green ties anchoring the lower branches in a few of the shots, pulling everything outward. Because of that training, she has developed multiple strong tops that are creating a massive, even canopy rather than just one main cola. 🌳 Foliage Health: She is looking incredibly lush. The leaves are a vibrant, healthy green, and she is clearly loving her current environment. As noticed last week, there's still just that tiny, perfect "kiss" of tip burn on some of the older leaves confirmation that you are feeding her right at the absolute sweet spot without overdoing it. 🍽️ Density: She is packing leaves on top of leaves! The internodal spacing is super tight, making for a very compact and sturdy plant. πŸ’§ Next Steps: With a canopy this thick and dense, airflow is the name of the game right now. I'm going to keep a close eye on the center of the plant to make sure moisture isn't getting trapped and that light is still penetrating down to those lower bud sites. If she keeps bushing out like this, a light defoliation of some of the large, inward-facing fan leaves might be on the menu soon to let her breathe! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Flipped and Filling the Tent! ⏱️⛺ Welcome to Week 11! Just like her tent-mate, the big moment has arrived for this girl I have officially flipped the lights to the 12/12 schedule! We are moving out of the vegetative stage and into the pre-flower stretch. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: The 12/12 Flip: She is officially on the blooming schedule! Looking at those extreme close-ups of the top nodes, you can see the new growth is an incredibly vibrant, bright green and pointing straight up. She is getting ready to explode upward for the pre-flower stretch. ⬆️ Canopy Takeover: Looking at the full tent shots, she has completely filled her footprint. The canopy is an absolute sea of deep, lush green. She is utilizing every square inch of light she can get. 🌊 Under the Hood: If you check out the shot peeking underneath the top layer of leaves, you can see the green LST clips are still doing their job holding that frame open. It is a total jungle down there, with thick, sturdy stems supporting all those tops. 🌴 Overall Health: Flawless. The mature fan leaves are huge, deeply ridged, and packed with nitrogen to fuel this upcoming stretch. πŸ’§ Next Steps: Brace for the stretch! She is already massive, and she's going to get even taller over the next couple of weeks. With a canopy this dense, airflow and humidity control are going to be my main focus. I will definitely be planning a strategic defoliation session soon to clear out some of that dense undergrowth so she can breathe and focus her energy on the top bud sites. Let the flowering stage begin! Let's grow! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Devil Cookie - Pushing Through the Blues! πŸŒΈπŸ“‰ Welcome to Week 12! The Devil Cookie is looking a little bit heavy this week after the 12/12 flip, but she is still actively pushing into the flowering stage and showing us some great signs of progress beneath the droop. πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: The "Sad" Leaves: The foliage is definitely showing a bit of stress, with the larger fan leaves looking heavy, slightly droopy, and exhibiting a bit of that classic "clawing" shape curving downward. There is also some minor edge wear and crinkling on a few of the mid-canopy leaves. This combination is very often a sign of a slight watering swing or a touch too much nitrogen now that she is transitioning her nutritional needs for bloom. Pre-Flower Success: Despite the heavy foliage, the factory is open! If you look closely at the center nodes, bright white pistils are bursting through. She received the 12/12 light signal perfectly and is actively beginning to form her bud sites. Color & Canopy: She is holding onto a very rich, dark green color overall. The training clips are still clearly visible in the undergrowth, showing that she maintained that fantastic, wide lateral structure through the vegetative phase. πŸ’§ Next Steps: Plants can sometimes get a little fussy during the massive hormonal shift of the flowering stretch. Since she is looking dark and heavy with a bit of a claw, a good strategy this week might be allowing for a slightly longer dry-back period between waterings. It might also be worth slightly dialing back the nitrogen in the BioBizz/Plagron mix, letting her use up what she has stored in those dark leaves while she stretches. She has a great frame and is already throwing pistils. With a tiny bit of TLC, she should bounce right back! Let's grow! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

wolfvb 🌿 Devil Cookie - Hitting a Rough Patch πŸš‘πŸͺ Welcome to Week 13. I'm not going to sugarcoat it the Devil Cookie is having a really tough time this week. The transition into flower has hit her hard, and she is showing some significant signs of stress, but we are not giving up on her! πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: The Struggle: The foliage is definitely hurting. Looking at the close-ups, we are seeing severe clawing, twisting, and crispy, necrotic edges on the newer and mid-canopy leaves. This points heavily toward a nutrient lockout (likely a pH swing in the root zone) or a severe nutrient burn from a buildup of salts. πŸ‚ The Silver Lining: Despite the heavy leaf damage, she is a fighter! The top nodes are still actively pushing out bright white pistils. The flowering factory is still open, and she is trying her hardest to build those bud sites. 🌸 Canopy Structure: Her overall frame and LST work from the vegetative stage are still holding up great. She has a beautifully wide structure with plenty of tops. Moral Support: The baby doll mascot is still holding it down in the soil, keeping a watchful eye on her while she recovers! πŸ‘ΆπŸŒ± πŸ’§ Next Steps / The Recovery Plan: Right now, the best course of action is a hard reset for her root zone. Flush: She needs a heavy flush with plain, properly pH-adjusted water to wash out whatever excess salts or lockout-causing buildup is trapped in that medium. Back Off the Feed: I will be completely cutting out the nutrients for the next few waterings until she starts showing healthy, praying new growth again. Clean Up: Once she stabilizes a bit, I'll go in and carefully prune away the completely dead and crispy foliage so she doesn't waste any energy trying to repair it, and to keep airflow clean. She has a strong foundation, so let's get that root zone cleared out so she can bounce back for the rest of her flowering stretch. Let's get her healed up! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

For once, ChatGPT is right, I think that your plant is not simply stressed, it is undergoing a real attack of parasites. Looking very closely at your photos, the diagnosis is indisputable. you have a large infestation of Thrips. The silver/translucent spots are the areas where the thrips have pierced the leaf to empty the cells of their sap. The little black dots are not eggs or mold, they are the droppings (poop) left by thrips while they feed. Spray diluted black soap and install self-adhesive plates on the ground below. sorry for you my friend. good luck ❀️ ❀️

wolfvb 🌿 Devil Cookie - Biological Warfare & Recovery! πŸžπŸ›‘οΈπŸͺ Welcome to Week 14! After last week's rough patch, we figured out exactly what was stressing her out and immediately called in the cavalry. I am thrilled to report that the treatment is working, and she is officially on the road to recovery! ❀️‍? πŸ“ˆ The Details / Progress Report: The Diagnosis & The Strike Force: It turns out we weren't just dealing with a nutrient swing we had a pest invasion! Thrips were attacking the foliage. As you can see in the order screenshot, I went full biological warfare. I brought in Power Raubmilben (Predatory Mites) to hunt down the thrips in the canopy, and SF Nematoden to drench the soil and wipe out any larvae hiding below. ? Boots on the Ground: If you look at the close-up macro shots, all those little tan flakes scattered across the fan leaves are the carrier material for our predatory mites. They have been successfully deployed and are actively patrolling the canopy to clean up the thrip population! I also hung up some blue sticky traps (visible in the full tent shot) to catch the flying adults. ? Signs of Life: She is taking the treatment like a champ! While you can still see the silvery stippling damage on the older leaves from the initial thrip attack, the new growth is looking much happier. Most importantly, the stress didn't stop the factory her buds are still stacking, and those beautiful white pistils are continuing to push out. πŸ’§ Next Steps: Right now, the goal is to sit back and let our beneficial bugs do their job! I will be keeping a close eye on the blue sticky traps to monitor the adult thrip population. I'll maintain a stable temperature and humidity so the predatory mites can thrive while the Devil Cookie focuses all her energy on building those flowers instead of fighting off pests. She is a fighter! Let's keep it growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’¨

Don't cut of the nutrients, flush with 10 to 20 liter ph 6.0 water than give her the normal feed. If possible catch the first batch of runoff water to measure ph and salts.
wolfvb
wolfvb commented2d ago
@Growfather2, we had a thrips attack but we got it under control, now she is back to the normal feeding schedule

Hi wolfvb, in our experience we advise to buy bags with Swirskii, these work well against trips, a very common problem which needs attention because these trips slowly damage the planet and effect overall quality, yield, potency.. etc. This is Dutch webshop as example; https://tuiniernatuurlijk.nl/roofmijt-swirskii/?srsltid=AfmBOorNyOqkuiadycOPhGrzZZbW4CJkHyuteE5Ws1XrMVIYzoMItWpj Black soap also works, try both! Good luck, she will recover for sure!

wolfvb commented5d ago
Hey @SSSC_Dave, I think it the same one I got, I also treated the coco to kill them all , that what I used. Hopefully she will be looking great again soon. Do u think I should empty the bag directly or let them slowly grow out
