GreenGlasses The seeds have germinated and were then directly potted into 0.5-liter cups. When planting, mycorrhiza and Rhizotonic were incorporated right away to support root development from the start. Now the plants can settle in and quietly build a good root system. I'm curious to see how the Icy Status genetics develop in the coming weeks. 🔬🌱

GreenGlasses The plants have now reached week 2 and have been repotted into 4-liter pots. The roots had already well established in the small cup, so it was time for more space for them to continue developing robustly. When repotting, I added mycorrhiza directly to the root area again and used a bit of Rhizotonic to minimize transplant stress and encourage further root development. Additionally, I incorporated silicon and Green House Grow to optimally support the plants in the early growth phase. Afterwards, everything was watered with Enhancer to ensure that the nutrients and microorganisms in the substrate are well distributed and the plants have a clean start in the new pot. So far, they are developing very steadily and appear healthy – I'm curious to see how the Icy Status genetics will show in the coming weeks. 🌱🔬

GreenGlasses After repotting last week, the plant has recovered well. There were no major signs of stress visible, and the growth looks stable. This week, I intentionally only used Rhizotonic to further promote root development and provide the plant with optimal conditions for recovery after repotting.

GreenGlasses The growth is stable, the leaves look healthy, and show a nice color. A topping has also already been done – after the 5th side branch. The plants have handled the cut well and continue to show even growth. It's slowly time for repotting – I'm actually a bit late, as the roots probably need more space already. Some signs of this are noticeable (e.g., faster drying of the soil and increasing size of the plants). Therefore, in the next few days, I will be putting them into larger pots so they can continue to develop optimally. Otherwise, everything is going according to plan so far...

GreenGlasses The plants are now in their 5th week and are continuing to develop well. This week, they were repotted to give the roots more space and allow the plants to grow optimally. The repotting went well for the plants, and each plant received 2 liters of enhancer to further support growth. Overall, the girls look healthy and stable – the grow is still going according to plan.

GreenGlasses After repotting, the plants took a little break. I removed a few leaves so that the energy goes better into the shoots and everything doesn't grow too wildly. To tame them, I used bud clips, a net, and some wire to keep the shoots nicely shaped and developing evenly. 👉👆

GreenGlasses Alright, we're at the point where we can let the watering run dry. We're trying to steer the shoots a bit outward so that we can incorporate the Greenhouse Bloom next week 🌱

GreenGlasses After incorporating the Bloom fertilizer, we watered the plants with 2 liters of Enhancer each. Then we turned the irrigation system back on and filled it up completely. Since there is now enough plant mass, we are switching the lighting to a 12-hour cycle. The light duration will be gradually adjusted to acclimate the plants to the new conditions and initiate the flowering phase.

GreenGlasses Flowering week 2 The stretch is now in full swing. To slow down the height growth a bit, I used BudClips again, which worked well for a few days. However, the girls have shot back up and are now almost touching the LED. Next, I'm preparing for the "haircut" – a targeted thinning should help curb the stretch a bit more while also improving light distribution. I've now turned off the automatic watering, and the irrigation is no longer being topped up. Now it's about controlling the plants as they continue through the flowering stage. Also, we now have a shoot with a brown Tesa mark – I'm telling you guys,... don't let anyone into your garden 😂

GreenGlasses The ladies went to the hairdresser this week and got a nice trim. Excess foliage was removed to let more light and air reach the important spots. Since then, the plants look much tidier and are fully focusing their energy on flower development. The buds are currently developing great – at almost all bud sites, they're getting denser and more compact every day. Especially nice to see: The first resin is already showing. The sugar leaves are starting to shimmer slightly, and you can slowly see where this journey is headed. The scent is also noticeably increasing, signaling a strong flowering phase ahead. Overall, the plants look vibrant, healthy, and very satisfied with the conditions. If they keep up this pace, the next few weeks will be really exciting!

GreenGlasses The Icy Staus is truly living up to its name right now. In flowering week 4, the terpenes are now spreading out clearly and very intensely. The plant has visibly reacted to the last "haircut": the trimming and care of the structure has done it good. Since then, it looks noticeably more vigorous, better ventilated, and more focused in the growth of the flower clusters. The buds are developing steadily and evenly, with no noticeable signs of stress. Overall, a very healthy impression for this phase of flowering. Very positive development – strong terpene buildup, good reaction to training, and so far a clean, stable progression.

GreenGlasses Unfortunately, the watering hasn't worked properly in the meantime, which meant the plants weren't optimally supplied at times. Despite the problems, the ladies have surprisingly coped well with the situation and continued their development steadily. The plants continue to show good vitality and are still in a positive development phase. Meanwhile, color is visibly coming into the leaves, which adds character to the genetics and the advanced flowering stage. Overall, the plants continue to respond robustly and are satisfactorily developing their flowers despite the temporary difficulties.

The overall vitality remains intact, and the buds themselves continue to show consistent development without noticeable impairment of maturation. This week, only water was used for watering, without any additional nutrients. Overall, the impression is of a plant that, while under heat stress, is still experiencing stable and unaffected bud maturation so far.

Most of the pistils have already changed their light color, but a few fresh ones are still present. The aroma has intensified noticeably compared to previous weeks. The buds have gained density once again and are showcasing a pronounced layer of resin. The aroma is now fully developed and significantly more intense than just a few weeks ago. The maturation of the buds continues to progress evenly and without any noticeable issues. The high temperatures remain a challenge, but the plant has overall coped well with the stress. The foliage is now showing clear signs of aging: discolorations have increased further, and several leaves are gradually being pulled in by the plant. This natural ripening process is clearly visible in the final phase of flowering. Overall, the plant's focus is now entirely on the maturation of the buds. Despite the persistently challenging environmental conditions, Icy leaves a stable overall impression and is in the final stretch of flowering with continued good bud quality.

GreenGlasses The last week of flowering has arrived, and Icy has almost reached her goal. The buds are nicely matured, compact, and completely covered with a thick layer of resin. The terpene profile is now fully developed, and the smell is noticeably more intense than just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the high temperatures accompanied me until the end and were the biggest challenge of this run. Still, the flower development was hardly affected by it. The maturation process was consistent, and the buds developed very well until the end. The foliage is now showing the typical signs of aging in the late flowering stage. Many fan leaves have changed color and are gradually being pulled in by the plant. Overall, she now really looks like autumn, while the flowers themselves appear healthy and fully matured. Looking back, I am very satisfied with this run. Despite the challenging conditions, Icy from Reverse Genetics has shown strong resin production, even flower development, and a promising final result. Now it’s just time to harvest and eagerly wait for the smoke test.

GreenGlasses The grow has been successfully completed and the harvest was dried in the VIVOSUN drying cabinet. 🌬️ The drying process went absolutely smoothly, and the buds were able to dry evenly and develop their full aroma. ✅ After the first test, I am more than satisfied. 😍 The taste is just great – intense, clean, and with a really pleasant terpene profile.
