Tricomes turned milky and signs of amber, she's finally finishing..can't wait. Looks like snow... Not expecting a big yield, pmostly popcorn buds, will be happy with what she delivers though. Have been flushing for more than a week now, just Ph'd water. Leaves turning very yellow and brown.

Grow Questions

On day 16 today. They seem to be a bit stunted, perhaps due to the cold. Wondering if I should I replant into bigger pots or wait another week? Especially the one on the left since it's an auto, it may start flowering in a couple of weeks.

Honestly ya its recomended to start autos in the pots they will finish in transplanting will stunt it a bit too and it looks like the bright yellow centres of new leaf is a mild zinc deficiency . also over nutrienting can cause the plant to lock out nutes and stop growing all together . a wise grower once told me with liquid nutrients less is more and to start at a smaller dosage than actually recomended on the bottle then adjust to your plants cues . id transplant now cause root bound plants can go into nutrient lock out too . just some tips many pros always repeat and really recommended.

My black sugar still has issues, lower leaves tips keep turning yellow/brown and then curling up. I suspect the soil mix has too much salts/nutes in it. Only watering with a teaspoon silicon and callmag added. Should I replant in Coco or just keep flushing it?

Transplanting her will cause stress and stunt her, but so will overfeeding. If your flushing isn't helping, then I would transplant her sooner rather then later. When you transplant make sure your PH is correct and you can add microbes and seaweed/kelp to help the roots and reduce stress. Start low with your feed and work your way up. good luck!

Now at day 70, which should be typical for her to be ready for harvesting. The trichomes are about 20% milky. Don't want to wait to long and lose too much cbd. Should I taking the tops now and leave the popcorn buds another week, or feed/flush and wait a week?

My first question is what light are you using and how many watts. I have had this problem a FEW times and your going to be shocked by my answer. If you are using a high intensity LED like a quantum you are actually deficient in phosphorus, potash or calcium. It took me forever to figure it out. Same exact thing in week two or three for on multiple projects. NOW through the help of another forum I have been using the recommended dosage plus an additional 50% early on in flower. Have a look see at my PPM in me reservoir on my last two. Prepare to be floored. But to me it looks like they are starving in one aspect and your lights are to close. Raise them up to maximize your footprint and let them have it as far as the NPK is concerned. It’s scary at first is soiless and hydro but we got you. If you are still apprehensive send me a message or let me know and I’ll point you to the other forum that I’m referring to and you can read over and talk with people a little more frequent. Hope this helps and I’ll be following along.

2 more weeks..The trichomes are mostly clear so I know I should wait but I need the space and also need the flower. Heavy feed then chop 1-2 weeks?

The last 2 weeks should be getting nutrients out not ramping up. These weeks is when buds put on most weight. I would harvest when at least 5% amber the rest milky white. If you harvest immature buds you'll end up with low thc, smell, taste, and weight. Also probably end up with headache weed. Patience is key to good smoke.

Sorry to be the "bad news guy" but I disagree with @diligaf and @cannibal1988 : the plant is far from ready and one single week more is not at all enough to change that, even with 70% milky you still loose 30% of your potency if the trichs are still clear ! Patience my friend ! Go for quality , alwaysπŸ‘ŠπŸ» anything else you need just drop me a message πŸ‘πŸ»

@CRiSPrGrow, is right, keep it maturing unless you are seeing a significant number of cloudy trichomes turning amber (overripe). An early harvest won't increase your CBD, it will do the opposite and give you a weaker head focused high.

Im curious to see the black sugar pan out. Got several of these beans and have had the hardest time getting them to germinate in rockwool. Im not giving up yet but definitely had to step back from them before I blew the them all!

@Dude420, I've never heard of them, but honestly the kind of heat that I'm dealing with currently I don't even need the warming pad. My rez clocked in at 35Β°C today! Im freezing some water bottles as we speak lol. The pad will just go away until fall and winter again πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ. Perks of being a baller on a budget right?

@NattyStateGrower, same happened with me a while ago. have you looked at the Inkbird thermostats? I'm using one and it works great, turns the heatpad on/off or extractor. Simple timer plug could also prevent overheating.

@Dude420, honestly it was probably my fault. I deal with a lot of heat and they probably got to hot from the light and heat pad I had them on. Im pretty sure I've just been frying the roots. Im keeping that in mind for the next go.
