PapaTerps Micro Grow Q126 - Sour Jealousy Auto - FastBuds - Pineapple Express F1 Auto - Zamnesia Hi there, welcome to another Micro Grow diary! To accompany my photoperiod's during their veg cycle, I've decided to grow two Autos and one Fast Flower type in 1L pots. Sour Jealousy and Pineapple Express are strains that I've wanted to grow for quite a while, so I've decided to select it for this grow! Sour Jealousy is a "Jealousy" cut from Seed Junky cross with FastBuds own "Sour Diesel Auto F5", she returns an XXL yield and has Diesel Sour flavours 🙏🏻 Pineapple Express is a Trainwreck x Hawaiian cross that exhibits Citrus and Pineapple flavour with Uplifting and Sociable effects. Day 1 - seeds dropped into a glass of room temperature RO water, pH'd to 6.5. She will remain here until an acceptable taproot appears. Day 2 - a taproot has appeared from both, so they've been moved into their starter pots. They will remain here until they're big enough to be transplanted to their main grow pots! Day 5 - they're both about 5cm tall and have nice root formation in their pot; a mature root has appeared from her starter pot, so I've moved her into her main grow pot - a 1L "Original Air Pot". It'll be my first time using this pot type, I've heard a lot of good things, so I thought why not! I will give her some time to allow her to grow into her new pot and begin the veg cycle before I update this diary again, wish her luck🤞🏻

PapaTerps Micro Grow Q126 - Sour Jealousy Auto - FastBuds - Pineapple Express F1 Auto - Zamnesia Day 18 🚿 They've been watered with 300ml of water with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pH'd to 6.3. ✂️ Great week for her, the main stem has thickened up really well and she is growing her side stems, of which there are three; she is growing in a funny arrangement, where she grows three side stems at a time, rather than two, so she's shaped in a star format - it must be a gene she inherited from a cutting! I've removed her lowest leaves and topped her, as she's an Autoflower, I dont want to stress her too much in weeks 4 and 5, so I decided to top her now 👍🏻 🌸 I'll leave her now to grow, only occasionally will I remove a fan leaf from this point on 🙏🏻

I've altered her nutrients and upped her volume to 0.5L 👍🏻 🌸 They both look to be in stretch, so from today I consider them in bloom! 🎉 ✂️ I've removed a couple of fan leaves to improve light penetration and air flow and I've pinned down her tallest stem to meet the level of the canopy, but other than that, I'm just letting her grow 🙏🏻

PapaTerps MicroGrow Q126 - Sour Jealousy Auto - FastBuds - Pineapple Express Auto - Zamnesia Day 33 🚿 Both have been watered with 1L of RO tap water, with nutrients mixed individually, in order and finally pH'd to 6.3! ✂️ Both girls have been defoliated, lollipopped, topped and gave had their outer stems trained down and away from the central stem, to create an even as possible canopy 👌🏻 🌸 Both girls have started their stretch and have been growing really well, both have four clear main stems with some auxiliary bud sites on the lower stems. She has worked really hard in developing this this week, so hopefully by next week, we see them starting to bulk a bit 🙏🏻 Note: I've been growing the Pineapple Express as long as the Sour Jealousy, but I never started a diary for her, so I decided to tag her onto this, as she will be growing along side the SJ 👍🏻

You can see over the last day or so, the flower started to fatten up, so we're looking good 🙌🏻

I've upped the nutrients by 0.5ml per liter, to boost nutrient levels for this stage of flower - some of the leaves are showing signs of nutrients burn, but I believe that is from a few weeks back when I gave her maybe a little too much before they were ready. ✂️ No work again this week, both girls have enough light penetration and airflow 👍🏻 🌸 Both girls are doing really well, both are now focusing on developing their flower and you can see trichomes popping up all over the flower and sugar leaves. The smells have just about started too, not enought to disiguish the scents, but its there - so far, so good 💪

I've upped the nutrients again by 0.5ml per liter, to 2ml of bloom nutrients as she is now approaching late flower and is vigorously bulking her flower! ✂️ No work again this week, both girls have enough light penetration and airflow 👍🏻 🌸 Both girls are doing really well, both are now focusing on bulking their flower and trichomes development! The smells have become distinct also, with sour candy notes from the sour jealousy, and citrusy/earthy notes from the pineapple Express 👌🏻

PapaTerps MicroGrow Q126 - Sour Jealousy Auto - FastBuds - Pineapple Express Auto - Zamnesia Day 77 🚿 Since the last diary entry, she was watered twice with 1L of RO tap water, once with full nutrients and once with half the amount, and then pH'd to 6.5. They are now in flush and are receiving 1.5L of just plain RO tap water pH'd to 6.5 👍🏻 ✂️ Both girls are just about ready for harvest, so I've removed a large portion of her leaves, this is to reduce the trimming later on and to give the flower as much light as possible over the final few days. 🌸 We are just about 12 weeks from seed for these girls, and both have finished bulking and are now maturing! They both have mostly milky trichomes with some amber trichomes, the pistils are also amber, so this indicates to me that these girls are just about ready for the chop 🙌🏻 I'll give them one more round of watering and then they'll be harvested 🎉

This was a Micro Grow, so I didn't expect a huge yield, but I would have expected a little bit more than 49 grams from this breeder - even still, she grew in a space in the tent that would have been empty otherwise, so a win either way! I probably never would have grown this strain if it wasn't for this 1L pot and the extra space in my tent, so I'm happy out! 8/10 for now, smoke report to follow in a couple of weeks - she must first be dried for about a week and then she'll get about a two week cure before I smoke her

The Flushing process allows us to remove most of the given nutrients from the soil, and forces the plant to use up its stored nutrients; with the goal of improving the overall flavour of the flower. ✂️Today is harvest day for her, so I've removed all fan leaves and larger sugar leaves and I've performed a wet trim to reduce the foliage on her. 🌸Her flower has kept its light green colouring with some amber of the pistils! Her aroma is very strong, with notes of sour fruits and gas. Her trichomes are basically all cloudy with a few ambers and most of her pistils have also turned amber also, so she's ready for harvest!!

Like I've said before, this was a Micro Grow, intended to allow me to grow strains I probably wouldn't have grown otherwise, or to try a specific strain before I decide to grow it for larger yields. I've had a few issues with this breeder in the past, where the quality of the flower has been sub-par, and that has continuted this strain - her flower is quiet airy and failed to bulk as much as the other micro grows in the tent. Her aroma is very pleasent, but the yield just isn't good enough, nearly 20 grams less than the TB Skittlez which grew in a "less ideal" pot type. For now, I've given her 6/10, because I'm not happy with the yield or the quality of the flower, but I will leave the final judgement for the smoke report. First she will be dried in a dark cool room for about a week, before she is cured in glass jars for about two-three weeks before she enters smoke rotation. I have my seeds selected for the next grow and this will include another two micro-grows, I'll be selecting two photoperiods this time, so I'll be seeing you all again really soon.
